WIRE HARNESS PROTECTION STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING BRAIDED COVER-EQUIPPED WIRE HARNESS
A novel wire harness protection structure and a method for producing a braided cover-equipped wire harness that can prevent interference between the braided cover and other members without increasing the number of extra steps after braiding. The wire harness protection structure that protects an outer circumferential surface of a wire harness by using a braided cover, including a fold-back portion provided on one end side in an axial direction of the braided cover, the fold-back portion being formed by folding back a terminal end processed portion provided at a braiding start end, inward in a radial direction of the braided cover.
WIRE HARNESS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A wire harness in which a trunk line section and a branch line section are divided and which is capable of protecting the divided sections, and a method for manufacturing the wire harness. The wire harness is provided with: a trunk line harness; a branch line harness; a trunk line connector provided at an intermediate section of the trunk line harness; a branch line connector which is provided at the end portion of the branch line harness and which can be coupled to the trunk line connector; and a connector protector. The connector protector includes a connector protecting member which extends across the trunk line harness and the branch line connector. The connector protecting member includes a trunk-line-side linking portion linked to the trunk line harness, and a branch-line-side linking portion linked to the branch line connector, and by the two linking portions and being provided in one piece, relative displacement between the connectors is restricted.
SEQUENTIAL TWISTING DEVICE
A cable processing machine produces a predefined sequence of twisted cable groups. The cable processing machine has a control unit, a cable tip processing system for processing a cable, a handling system, and a twisting station.
Shielded wire harness and method for manufacturing the same
A method for manufacturing a shielded wire harness, includes: wrapping a conductive sheet around a wire harness in a parallel state to the wire harness, the conductive sheet having a long belt shape along a longitudinal direction of the wire harness, and cutting the conductive sheet in matching with a desired electric wire length; allowing an adhesive surface formed on a back surface side of the protection tape to fix the conductive sheet to the wire harness by spirally winding a long protection tape around an outer circumference of the conductive sheet wrapped around the wire harness; and cutting the protection tape in matching with the desired electric wire length.
METHOD AND MACHINE FOR PRODUCING BINDINGS
The method for producing bindings includes: positioning at least one binding bobbin on a machine having: a winding bobbin including a device for supporting and a notch, an electric motor which is coupled to the winding bobbin; and at least one shaft capable of receiving a binding bobbin, supporting a free end of the binding of the binding bobbin on the winding bobbin, by the device for supporting; supplying electricity to the electric motor of the machine to drive the winding bobbin in rotation, so as to wind the binding of the binding bobbin over a plurality of turns around the winding bobbin; stopping the supply of electricity to the electric motor of the machine; and in the region of the notch of the winding bobbin, cutting the plurality of turns of bindings wound onto the winding bobbin.
WIRE HARNESS AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF WIRE HARNESS
A wire harness including one or more electrically conductive paths and a resin molded product having a tubular shape which accommodates and protects the one or more electrically conductive paths. The resin molded product includes a first part having clearances along a circumferential direction between an inner surface of the resin molded product and outer surfaces of the one or more electrically conductive paths and a second part having substantially no clearance between the inner surface of the resin molded product and an outer surface of one of the one or more electrically conductive paths in an area along the circumferential directions.
Wire harness and method for producing wire harness
An objective is to achieve a configuration for mounting a wire harness in a vehicle to protect the wire harness and regulate a path in a simpler manner with fewer components. A wire harness has a wire harness main body including at least one wire, and a protection member protecting the wire harness main body. The protection member includes an inner peripheral protection portion formed by hot-pressing a nonwoven member in a state of covering at least a portion of the wire harness main body and an outer peripheral protection portion formed by hot-pressing a nonwoven member in a state of covering at least a portion of the inner peripheral protection portion in an extending direction.
Device and method for splicing shielded wire cables
A wire cable assembly, such as those used in electric or hybrid electric vehicles, having a plurality of shielded wire cables that are spliced together is presented. The assembly. A resilient shield clip electrically interconnects the shield conductors of at least a portion of the plurality of shielded wire cables. The shield clip defines a first wire receiving portion that is characterized as being omega-shaped in cross section. A first shield conductor portion is received within the first wire receiving portion. The shield clip further defines second and third wire receiving portions in which the second and third shield conductor portions are received respectively. A conductive shield sleeve is in electrical contact with the shield clip and encloses the first, second, and third shield conductor portions. A method of splicing shielded wire cables using such a shield clip is also presented herein.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING WIRE HARNESS AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD
A technique suitable for measuring the shape of a linear object. In the process of manufacturing a wire harness, a processing position identification process, in which a processing position is identified by measuring the three-dimensional shape of a wire assembly, is executed. This processing position identification process includes the following: a point group data acquisition step of acquiring point group data from image data acquired by capturing an image of the wire assembly using an image capturing unit; a representative line acquisition step of acquiring a representative line indicating a linear part of the wire assembly on the basis of the point group data; and a processing position identification step of identifying the processing position on the wire assembly to be processed, on the basis of a length along the representative line.
ELECTRIC WIRE BUNDLE, APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING ELECTRIC WIRE BUNDLE, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ELECTRIC WIRE BUNDLE
An object of the present invention is to make it easy to bind a plurality of electric wires together. An electric wire bundle includes an electric wire group and a binding portion. The electric wire group includes a bundle portion in which at least a portion of a plurality of electric wires in an extension direction is bundled together. The binding portion formed by supplying a fluid binding portion forming material to an outer circumferential portion of the bundle portion in strip-shape in a form in which the bundle portion can be maintained in a bundled state and curing the binding portion forming material. Such a bundle can be formed by discharging the fluid binding portion forming material from a nozzle to the circumference of a bundle portion of a plurality of electric wires supported by an electric wire supporting portion, and curing the fluid binding portion forming material.
