ELECTRICAL ARRANGEMENT COMPRISING AN IMPLANTABLE CABLE ELEMENT
An electrical arrangement with an implantable cable element may be provided which comprises a strain relief element which is arranged centrically in the cross section, as well as a group of conductors insulated to one another, said group being stranded around the strain relief element, and a common shielding element surrounding the electrical conductors, as well as a fluid-tight cable sheath. The implantable cable element may have a symmetrical construction.
Gain Base for Power Distribution Systems
An apparatus for affixing an insulator to a structure in a power distribution system is disclosed herein. The apparatus may comprise a gain base that enables attachment of an insulator to a utility pole or other structure at multiple angles. In various embodiments, the apparatus may include at least a fixed component configured to be affixed to a structure and a pivoting component configured to rotate with respect to the fixed component to adjust the orientation of the hole via which an insulator is attached to the apparatus. The pivoting component may be configured to receive a threaded insulator pin or other connection device configured to clamp or otherwise affix an insulator to the apparatus.

Composite insulator for an overhead power line with a protected leakage current detector
A composite insulator (1) for overhead power lines comprises a rigid core extending axially between two attachment fittings (6) and having placed thereon a shell having sheds (5, 5) made of electrically insulating synthetic material. It includes a detector device for detecting surface leakage currents, which device includes an electrically conductive metal annular ring (7) surrounding the shell between an end shed (5) adjacent to one of the two fittings (6) and another shed (5) adjacent to the end shed (5) that extends radially over the ring (7). The ring (7) is connected by a conductive wire (8) passing through the end shed (5) to be connected to an electronic unit (9) of the detector device.
