POST INSULATOR AND INSULATED SUPPORT POST
Disclosed in the present invention is a post insulator, comprising a hollow insulating tube, a shed positioned on periphery of the hollow insulating tube, and an upper flange and a lower flange provided at two ends of the hollow insulating tube, wherein gas is sealed inside of the hollow insulating tube, and the absolute pressure of the gas is 0.1-0.15 MPa. Further disclosed is an insulated support post formed by the end-to-end connection of the post insulators. The post insulator and the insulated support post of the present invention solve an interface problem present in internal insulating solid material filling, and also solve a gas leaking problem that occurs when using high-pressure gas filling, such that the post insulator does not need to be detected and maintained. At the same time, the margin of the micro-water control range is improved, and micro-water control and production difficulty is reduced.
Low Sag Tree Wire
Disclosed herein is a tree wire and a method of preparing the same. The tree wire disclosed herein has an improved ampacity compared to a conventional ACSR tree wire, as well as reduced sag compared to a conventional ACSR bare conductor and/or ACSR tree wire.
ASSEMBLY COMPRISING A CABLE AND A SUPPORT FOR SAID CABLE
The present disclosure relates to an assembly having a cable support and a cable inserted in the support, the latter may include: at least one base, made of a rigid material, having at least one receptacle provided with a longitudinal axis and, of which the inner dimension D.sub.int is given, and at least one strap, made of a material more flexible than that of the base, having at least two lips on the one hand arranged opposite one another to define a slot for the passage of a cable between the lips and on the other hand, shaped to define an orifice, wherein the cable is inserted, this orifice, provided with a longitudinal axis, communicating with the slot along this longitudinal axis of the orifice, the lips having, together, an outer dimension D.sub.ext equal or greater than the inner dimension of the receptacle.
Electric fence insulator
An insulator for an electric fence having at least one wire is described. The insulator includes a body having a first end and a second end, a post connector portion at the first end of the body for connecting the insulator to a fence post, a wire attachment portion at the second end of the body, and at least one shield surrounding and extending outwardly from the body at a position away from the connector portion towards the second end, the shield including lateral portions on either side of the body. The lateral portions of the shield angle away from the second end of the body towards the first end of the body, such that when installed a straight section of the wire cannot bear against respective edges of both lateral portions simultaneously, and pass along their entire lengths, without contacting the fence post.
WIRE FENCE INSULATOR AND BUFFER
A wire fence insulator and buffer (10, 100, 200) for retrofitting to a wire fence of the type where the fence wire (18) passes through lateral apertures (26) in fence posts (16). The wire fence insulator and buffer (10, 100, 200) has an inner member (12, 112, 212) and an outer member (14, 114, 214) capable of coupling together around the fence wire (18) within respective ones of the lateral apertures (26) of the fence post (16) to inhibit leakage of electrical energy from the fence wire (18) to the fence post (16) and/or to inhibit wear and corrosion of the fence wire (18) with the fence post (16). A wire fence system and method of electrification of the wire fence are also claimed.
Fencing element
This invention relates to a fencing element which includes at least one wire support for a wire, wherein the fencing element includes an elongate body, characterised in that the at least one wire support includes at least one groove and at least one protruding member, wherein a line is defined along the length of the at least one groove, and at least a portion of the protruding member intersects the line. The invention has particular application to the mounting and supporting of fencing wire on the fencing element.
Electric fence insulator with a light
An insulator for notifying an animal when an electric fence is provided. The insulator may include a clip for attaching the insulator to the fence. Metal contact points may draw power from the electric fence when the fence is active, or the insulator may be powered through induction. The insulator may also include a circuit board or controller that receives power from the fence and translates it into an output directed to a notification device. The notification device may comprise a light that produces a visual notification or a speaker that produces an audible notification.
Insulator attachment
An insulator attachment device includes an insulator clip and a support clip. The insulator clip can have a lever arm and a catch arm. The insulator clip can move between an opened position, at which the lever arm is spaced from the catch arm, and a closed position, at which the lever arm is seated at the catch arm. The insulator clip can receive a fencing insulator in the opened position. The support clip can include a securing portion and a receiving portion. The securing portion can secure the support clip to a fencing post and the receiving portion can receive the insulator clip. The securing portion can include a first connection arm and a second connection arm. Each of the first connection arm and the second connection arm can secure the support clip to the fencing post. The receiving portion can include a biasing element.
Post mounting system and apparatus
An apparatus (10, 100) is disclosed for connection to a flange (52, 152) of a post. The flange comprises elongated apertures/holes (54, 154) therethrough. The apparatus comprises a body (12 or 112) having projections (14, 16 or 114, 116) that extend from the body to a distal end. A lug (18, 118) projecting laterally from a distal end of each projection has a profile configured such that it is able to nest in the elongated aperture of the flange when the apparatus is connected to the flange. The apparatus also comprises two locator elements (30, 32 or 130,132) that extend out from the body separately to the projections. The elements are spaced so as to receive the post flange therebetween, whereby the elements locate on opposite sides of the flange when the apparatus is connected to the flange.
INSULATOR ATTACHMENT
An insulator attachment device includes an insulator clip and a support clip. The insulator clip can have a lever arm and a catch arm.
