Anti-slip system with injection operation

A grommet assembly includes a wire harness and a grommet including a hollow channel configured to receive the wire harness therein. At least one rib extends inwards from and substantially annularly about the interior surface of the hollow channel. At least one port configured to fluidly couple the hollow channel with an exterior environment is defined by the grommet. Material is injected into the channel through the port to secure the grommet relative to the wire harness. The material injected into the channel flows through interstices located between adjacent wires that define the wire harness so as to encapsulate the wires. The injected material also flows into other voids and openings located within the hollow channel. Upon setting, the injected material is configured to prevent movement of the grommet relative to the wire harness and to prevent the passage of contaminants through the grommet assembly.

Grommet with groove portion between pair of contact portions, and wire harness

A grommet includes: a water stop portion that has an annular shape and is inserted to a through hole formed in an attachment panel for stopping water; and a first partition wall portion and a second partition wall portion that are unit arranged to project toward a radially inner side of the water stop portion. The water stop portion includes: a first contact portion that is capable of coming into contact with a first side surface of a circumference edge portion of the through hole; a second contact portion that is capable of coming into contact with the first side surface; a groove portion formed in an annular shape between the first contact portion and the second contact portion; and a recess/protrusion portion that is formed on a circumferential wall inside the groove portion.

Integrated insulator seal and shield assemblies

An integrated insulator sealing and shielding assembly includes a rubber housing having a plurality of radial weathersheds and a tapered end adjacent an endmost radial weathershed. The tapered end has an outer surface with a ring extending outward from the outer surface. The ring is compressible. A metal end fitting is disposed adjacent to the endmost radial weathershed and receives the tapered end. The tapered end is received in a counterbore in the metal end fitting. The counterbore has a sealing surface so that interference of the ring with the sealing surface creates a compressive sealing force to form a seal.

A terminal block electrically relays inside and outside of a partition wall sealing a liquid. The terminal block includes a housing disposed so as to penetrate the partition wall, a bus bar inserted into the housing, a seal member attached to the housing so as to seal a gap between the bus bar and the housing, and a holder assembled to the housing outside the partition wall with respect to the seal member so as to prevent the seal member from coming off. The bus bar extends across the inside and outside of the partition wall through a first through hole of the housing, a seal hole of the seal member, and a second through hole of the holder. Durability of a material constituting the housing to the liquid is better than durability of a material constituting the holder to the liquid.
