Thermal sleeve with reflective positioning member, assembly therewith and method of construction thereof
A thermal sleeve for protecting an electronic member connected to a wiring harness against exposure to heat, combination thereof, and method of construction thereof is provided. The thermal sleeve has a tubular member including a circumferentially continuous wall with an insulative inner layer bounding an inner cavity extending along a central longitudinal axis between open opposite ends and a reflective outer layer. The sleeve further includes a positioning member constructed of resilient, reflective metal material. The positioning member has a tubular portion and at least one resilient finger extending radially inwardly from the tubular portion for abutment with the wiring harness. The tubular portion is fixedly attached to one of the opposite ends of the wall of the tubular member.
DOOR COMPONENT, GROMMET, AND WIRING MODULE
An object of the present disclosure is to provide a technique for improving the ease of attaching a door component to a door panel. A door component includes: a grommet that is attached to a door panel so as to traverse a portion of a peripheral edge; and a weather strip that is attached to the door panel so as to extend along a peripheral edge. The grommet includes a first tubular part and a second tubular part that are formed so as to be open in mutually different directions. The weather strip includes a first end part and a second end part along a longitudinal direction. The first end part of the weather strip is fitted into the first tubular part and the second end part is fitted into the second tubular part.

Cable with a fabric sleeve and its method of manufacture
A fabric wrapped cable is formed by positioning adhesive on opposed layers of fabric. A cable is positioned between those layers and the layers are attached by attaching the adhesive of one layer to the adhesive of the other layer. In forming the wrapped cable in such a manner, the cable is provided with at least one wing.
Bushing for a medium voltage switchgear
A bushing for a metal clad medium voltage switchgear includes a hollow body. The body is made of polyamide. A first end of the body connects to a compartment of the medium voltage switchgear. A second end of the body connects to a T-off and pin. A body portion extends from the first end of the body to the second end of the body. The body portion is circular shaped about an axis extending from the first end of the body to the second end of the body.
Waterproof unit and wire harness
A waterproof unit including: a first waterproof tube that has a tubular shape and is to be attached to a through hole of a vehicle body panel disposed between a waterproof area that requires waterproofing and a non-waterproof area that does not require waterproofing; a second waterproof tube that has a tubular shape and is to be disposed in the non-waterproof area so as to be spaced apart from the first waterproof tube; and a first exterior tube that has a tubular shape, is disposed between the first waterproof tube and the second waterproof tube, and is coupled to the first waterproof tube and the second waterproof tube, wherein the first exterior tube has higher flexural rigidity than the first waterproof tube to be kept from coming into contact with the first waterproof tube when the waterproof unit is bent in the non-waterproof area.
Current feedthrough seal assembly
A current feedthrough seal assembly (1) for insertion into and sealing a wall opening (WO) of a climate chamber (KK) comprises a plastic core (10) formed in a step-like shape in an axial direction thereof so as to be inserted into the wall opening (WO) of the climate chamber (KK), so that, when inserted, substantially the whole of the plastic core (10) is located in the wall opening (WO), and a flange (11) is formed at an axial end of the plastic core (10) to protrude beyond the wall opening in the radial direction of the plastic core (10) to abut against one (I) of an internal or external wall (I, A) of the climate chamber (KK), at least two elongated power conducting members (20) accommodated in parallel to each other inside the plastic core (10) and extending through the plastic core (10) and a press ring seal (30) interposed between an inner peripheral surface of the wall opening (WO) and an outer peripheral surface of the plastic core (10) on an opposite axial side thereof with respect to the flange (11) of the plastic core (10).
LOW PROFILE WATERTIGHT CONNECTOR AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
A connector adapted to secure an electrical power line entering an electrical meter box comprises (a) a cylindrical member adapted to be at least partially inserted into the meter box through an access hole, (b) a flange affixed to or integral with a first end of the cylindrical member and (c) a cylindrical grommet selectively insertable at least partially into a second end of the cylindrical member and securable therein. The flange remains outside of the meter box and abuts an outer surface of the wall of the meter box or abuts a gasket sandwiched between the flange and the outer surface of the wall of the meter box. The cylindrical member, the flange, and the grommet all have aligned through-holes through which the power line passes as the power line enters the meter box.
Self-locking lug protector
A wiring protection device includes a main body that defines a cavity for receipt of an associated lug of an associated wiring harness. The wiring protection device also includes a first locking member that is slidably received in the main body to define a lock, position that engages the associated lug to prevent removal of the associated lug from the main body and an unlock position that does not engage the associated lug and allows removal and installation of the associated lug out of and into the main body.
