FERRITE PARTICLES FOR BONDED MAGNETS, RESIN COMPOSITION FOR BONDED MAGNETS, AND MOLDED PRODUCT USING THE SAME
According to the present invention, there are provided ferrite particles for bonded magnets and a resin composition for bonded magnets which are capable of producing a bonded magnet molded product having a good tensile elongation and exhibiting excellent magnetic properties, as well as a bonded magnet molded product such as a rotor which is obtained by using the resin composition. The present invention relates to ferrite particles for bonded magnets having a bulk density of not less than 0.5 g/cm.sup.3 and less than 0.6 g/cm.sup.3 and a degree of compaction of not less than 65%, a resin composition for bonded magnets using the ferrite particles, and a molded product obtained by using the ferrite particles and the resin composition.

An exemplary embodiment of the present invention provides a stylus pen including: a body; a conductive tip configured to be exposed from an inside of the body to an outside thereof; and a resonance circuit connected to the conductive tip to resonate an electrical signal transferred from the conductive tip. An inductor unit of the resonance circuit includes a ferrite core and a coil wound in multiple layers over at least a portion of the ferrite core. The ferrite core includes nickel, and the coil can be formed by a litz wire with adjacent winding layers that are wound to be inclined in a zigzag form.
Ferrite sintered magnet and rotary electrical machine comprising the same
A ferrite sintered magnet 100 comprises M-type ferrite crystal grains 4 and multiple-crystal grain boundaries 6b surrounded by three or more of the M-type ferrite crystal grains 4. The ferrite sintered magnet 100 contains at least Fe, Ca, B, and Si, and contains 0.005 to 0.9 mass % of B in terms of B.sub.2O.sub.3. The multiple-crystal grain boundaries 6b contain Si and Ca, and in a case where the molar ratio of Ca to Si in the multiple-crystal grain boundaries 6b is represented by (Ca/Si).sub.G, the following formula is satisfied.

Ferrite sintered magnet, ferrite particle, bonded magnet and rotating electric machine
This ferrite sintered magnet comprises ferrite phases having a magnetoplumbite type crystal structure. This magnet comprises an element R, an element M, Fe, Co, B, Mn and Cr, the element R is at least one element selected from rare earth elements including Y, the element M is at least one element selected from the group consisting of Ca, Sr and Ba, with Ca being an essential element, and when an atomic composition of metallic elements is represented by R.sub.1-xM.sub.xFe.sub.m-yCo.sub.y, x, y and m satisfy formulae:
0.2≤x≤0.8 (1)
0.1≤y≤0.65 (2)
3≤m<14 (3). Additionally, a content of B is 0.1 to 0.4% by mass in terms of B.sub.2O.sub.3, a content of Mn is 0.15 to 1.02% by mass in terms of MnO, and a content of Cr is 0.02 to 2.01% by mass in terms of Cr.sub.2O.sub.3.
Ferromagnetic β-MnBi alloy
A novel ferromagnetic phase of manganese-bismuth alloy has an NiAs-type unit cell structure, similar to that of Low Temperature Phase manganese-bismuth, but with manganese atoms populating interstitial sites. The novel phase, termed β-MnBi, possesses maximum magnetic coercivity at unusually high temperature. A method for forming β-MnBi includes annealing MnBi nanoparticles, for example by hot compaction, at temperature lower than 175° C.
MAGNETIC TAPE AND MAGNETIC TAPE DEVICE
The magnetic tape includes a magnetic layer having ferromagnetic powder and a binder on a non-magnetic support, in which the magnetic layer includes a timing-based servo pattern, the ferromagnetic powder is ferromagnetic hexagonal ferrite powder having an activation volume equal to or smaller than 1,600 nm.sup.3, and an edge shape of the timing-based servo pattern specified by a magnetic force microscope observation is a shape in which a difference (l.sub.99.9−l.sub.0.1) between a value l.sub.99.9 of a cumulative frequency function of 99.9% of a position deviation width from an ideal shape in a longitudinal direction of the magnetic tape and a value l.sub.0.1 of the cumulative frequency function of 0.1% thereof is equal to or smaller than 180 nm.
Powder made of iron-base metallic glass
The present invention is to provide powder made of iron-based metallic glass, the corrosion resistance of which is improved over the conventional powder made of iron-based metallic glass. The basic composition includes a group of iron-based metallic elements that predominantly has Fe, a group of metalloid elements that consists of Si, B, P, and C, and a little amount of a group of elements for improving the degree of supercooling that consists of either or both of Nb and Mo. The powder made of the iron-based metallic glass is obtained by adding to the basic composition an element for improving the corrosion resistance. The obtained powder made of the iron-based metallic glass has an excellent corrosion resistance, an excellent magnetic property, and an excellent insulating property.
POSS-containing in-situ composite nanogel with magnetic responsiveness and method for preparing the same
The present invention provides a POSS-containing in-situ composite nanogel with magnetic responsiveness and the method for preparing the same, wherein POSS-containing macromolecule capable of polymerizing and metal-coordination complexing is synthesized to complex with iron salt, Fe.sup.2+/Fe.sup.3+ salts are in-situ deposited via chemical coprecipitation, and crosslinking agent and initiator are added to induce polymerization so that POSS-containing nanogel ranges with magnetic responsiveness is obtained. The present invention is of professional design, feasible technique and simple operation, and prepared nanogel magnetic particles are well dispersed with excellent magnetic responsiveness, which possesses a good application prospect in medical diagnosis, sensor, catalyst carrier and biomaterial.
COMPONENTS ON FLEXIBLE SUBSTRATES AND METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF
The invention concerns the field of electronics and materials science and relates to components on flexible substrates, as are for example used as sensors or actuators in the automotive industry, mechanical engineering or electronics, and to a method for the production thereof.
The object of the present invention is the specification of components on flexible substrates, the physical and in particular electrical properties of which have long-term stability, and the specification of a cost-efficient and simple method for the production thereof.
The object is attained with components on flexible substrates, composed of a flexible substrate having a barrier layer arranged at least partially thereon, on which layer a components layer is at least partially positioned.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR ORIENTING PLATELET-SHAPED MAGNETIC OR MAGNETIZABLE PIGMENT PARTICLES
The present invention relates to the field of devices and processes for producing optical effect layers (OEL) comprising magnetically bi-axially oriented platelet-shaped magnetic or magnetizable pigment particles, in particular for producing said OELs as anti-counterfeit means on security documents or security articles or for decorative purposes. The process described herein comprises the step of a) applying on a substrate surface a radiation curable coating composition comprising platelet-shaped magnetic or magnetizable pigment particles, b) exposing the radiation curable coating composition to a dynamic magnetic field of a magnetic assembly comprising a Halbach cylinder assembly, and c) at least partially curing the radiation curable coating composition of step b) so as to fix the platelet-shaped magnetic or magnetizable pigment particles in their adopted positions and orientations, said step c) being carried out partially simultaneously or simultaneously with step b).
