The chemical liquid injector includes two piston driving mechanisms for operating syringes filled with a first chemical liquid and a second chemical liquid, respectively, an input unit for receiving an input of a data, and an injection control unit for controlling an operation of the piston driving mechanisms. The injection control unit is set with a multistage injection mode in which injection operations are performed in a plurality of injection phases. In the multistage injection mode, the injection control unit is configured to receive the input of the mixing rate of the first chemical liquid and the second chemical liquid for each of the plurality of injection phases, set injection conditions of the first chemical liquid and the second chemical liquid so that the first chemical liquid and the second chemical liquid are injected at the received mixing rate, and control the operation of the driving mechanisms according to the set injection condition.
Fluid delivery system and method of fluid delivery to a patient
A fluid delivery system includes a pressurizing mechanism. The pressurizing mechanism includes: a substantially cylindrical body having a movable member positioned therein that divides the body into a first chamber and a second chamber; a plunger rod connected to a first side of the movable member and extending through a substantially closed first end of the body; and an elongated member connected to a second side of the movable member and extending through a substantially closed second end of the body. The plunger rod configured to operatively engage a fluid container. Fluid is dispensed from the fluid container by forming a vacuum within at least the first chamber by moving the movable member toward the second end of the body, allowing atmospheric pressure to enter the second chamber, and actuating the pressurizing mechanism to cause the moving member to move towards the first end of the body.
Medical connectors configured to receive emitters of therapeutic agents
In some embodiments, a medical fluid connector is configured to receive an emitter of therapeutic agents to be emitted into a fluid pathway within the connector, the medical fluid connector comprising a proximal female end, an intermediate region, a distal male end, and a fluid pathway extending from the proximal female end, through the intermediate region, to the distal male end. A retaining structure is positioned within the intermediate region. The retaining structure is configured to securely receive an emitter of one or more therapeutic agents in a position and orientation where the fluid pathway is configured to convey fluid moving longitudinally through the fluid pathway directly into a proximal region of the emitter, around one or more lateral surfaces of the emitter, and toward the distal male end.
RECONSTITUTION SYSTEM TO ADMINISTER A DRUG VIA A HIGH VACUUM VIAL
A reconstitution device includes a first piercing member, a second piercing member, and a receptacle. The first piercing member has a first end and a second end. The first end of the first piercing member is configured to engage an administration port. The first piercing member includes a first fluid pathway extending from the first end of the first piercing member to the second end of the first piercing member. The receptacle includes a collar and a cap. The collar is configured to engage a vial. The cap extends from the collar and holds the second piercing member. A first end of the second piercing member is disposed within the collar.
Container for mixing and dispensing two components
A container and methods for storing and mixing a two-component composition is provided. The container includes a body, a first plug and a second plug. The body has a first end, a second end, and a bypass with a length L disposed between the first and second ends. The first and second plugs are slidably disposed in the body and define a first compartment. A second compartment is disposed in the body between the second plug and the second end. The second plug has a first edge, a second edge, and a plurality of spaced-apart primary conduits extending through the second plug. Each primary conduit has a separate first opening. A distance D extends longitudinally from the first edge to the second edge and a distance E extends longitudinally from the first edge to the first opening that is nearest the first edge. DL and E<L.
MEDICAL FLUID INJECTION APPARATUS AND METHOD WITH DETACHABLE PATCH AND MONITORING
Provided herein are systems and methods for monitoring one or more health or physiological parameters in a subject. The systems and methods may comprise a patch coupled to an injector. Data may be transmitted to a mobile device or remote server, where the data may be processed. Processed data may be used to inform a subject on a health or physiological condition.
SYSTEM FOR VERIFYING ACCURACY OF SERIALLY-CONNECTED DRUG MODULES IN A COMBINATORIAL DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE
In one aspect, a system is provided of verifying the accuracy of a plurality of serially-connected drug modules of a combinatorial drug delivery device, each of the drug modules including a drug reservoir, the system including: a machine-readable code located on each of the drug modules; application software configured to generate an activation code based on the machine-readable codes and the sequence of the machine-readable codes; a flow controller on the drug delivery device which is selectively actuatable to a use state to permit flow of drug from the drug delivery device; and, a control unit on the drug delivery device having a computing processing unit configured to compare the activation code with an authentication code, and, wherein, if the authentication code matches the activation code, the computing processing unit causes actuation of the flow controller to permit flow of the drug from the drug delivery device.
