Attachment System for Securing Medical Devices to Support Structures

A medical device attachment system including a mounting system having a receptacle for receiving a hook attached to a medical device. The receptacle includes a rear wall, a first side wall, a second side wall, and a notch formed by the walls for closely receiving the hook. A plate mount forms a front wall of the receptacle and an appropriate attachment component is secured to the mounting plate for removably securing the mounting system to a desired support structure for the medical device.

Devices and mobility assistance and infusion management

Provided are mobility assistance devices, particularly useful in medical settings where a patient ambulation is desired but the patient remains connected to one or many medical components. The system comprises a mast connected to a base, wherein the mast is angled with respect to the base and from which any number of medical components is supported. The device geometry and connections ensure the device is extremely stable and tip-resistant. Also provided are oxygen tank holders to reliably and conveniently hold oxygen tanks and power management systems that reliably provide electrical power without impacting device performance or mobility. The device is deployable to permit conversion between a compact storage configuration and a stable deployed configuration.

SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING MULTIPLE INFUSIONS TO A PATIENT

A system for providing multiple infusions to a patient (P), the system comprises a multiplicity of infusion devices (10) for administering a multiplicity of medical fluids through an infusion line (102) of an infusion set (103) to the patient (P), and a control device (2) for controlling the multiplicity of infusion devices (10). Herein, the control device (2) comprises a multiplex module (22) configured to multiplex the multiplicity of medical fluids for a multiplexed administration of the medical fluids through said infusion line (102) of the infusion set (103), the multiplex module (22) comprising a scheduling module (222) configured to define at least two packets, each packet comprising at least one medical fluid out of the multiplicity of medical fluids, and to arrange the at least two packets in a sequence for administration of the medical fluids of the at least two packets. In this way a system for providing multiple infusions to a patient is provided which allows for an efficient, yet reliable administration of multiple infusions while at the same time reducing the risks for errors. An advantage of multiplexing is reduction of the number of lumens with associated reduction of infection risks and discomfort.
