Fluid level monitoring system
A fluid level monitoring device and a method of use are disclosed for alerting a user that the fluid in a container, such as an intravenous (i.v.) injection or irrigation bag or collection of waste from a human body (catheter) have reached a pre-determined volume.
Handle for a Medical Device
The invention relates to a handle for a medical device (10) which has a dual function: gripping (12) the medical device and holding a functional component of a medical system against the medical device, preferably a dialysis filter (4).
COUPLING SYSTEMS
A coupling device comprising a base member connectable to a first item and a release member connectable to a second item, the base and release members being releasably connectable together. The base member has a front face including a pocket. The release member comprises a body which is configured to be received in the pocket in a coupled position. The pocket has an open access end through which the release member can be slidingly inserted and removed. The base member includes a stop member moveable, by an actuator, between a lock position in which the stop member interengages with the release member to prevent removal of the release member from the pocket of the base member, and a release position in which the release member can be separated from the base member. A securing apparatus for releasably securing a mobile equipment to a support surface, and including the coupling device.
MEDICAL CART FOR USE IN PATIENT CARE
A medical cart for use in patient care is provided, the medical cart comprising: a front; a back; sides; four legs which have a distal end, a proximal end and a bore at least partially therebetween terminating in an aperture at the proximal end; a spring plunger mounted on each leg for releasably retaining a pole in the bore; a bracket attached to each leg proximate to the distal end; a caster rotatably attached to each bracket; a lower shelf attached to the legs and extending between the legs; a ballast sleeve below the lower shelf for releasably retaining weight plates; and an upper shelf attached to the legs and extending between the legs, the upper shelf including a recess at the front extending towards the back.
Portable Canister Holder with a Collapsible Body
A portable canister holder is disclosed. The portable canister system comprises a collapsible substantially cylindrical, non-rigid body assembly comprising a plurality of vertical support rods configured to support a plurality of horizontal support restraints. The vertical support rods are able to pivot along with the horizontal supporting restraints, thereby collapsing the body assembly. The lowest horizontal support restraint further comprises a stopper to prevent the canister from being disconnected from the body assembly when in use. The portable canister holder further comprises an articulating joint member having a first end configured to attach to the body assembly and a second end configured to attach to a clamping device. The portable canister holder further comprises an IV holder configured to attach to the body assembly, the IV holder having a plurality of rods configured to support an IV bag.
Accessory Support And Coupling Systems For An Accessory Support
The present disclosure provides a coupling system for coupling a medical accessory to an accessory support is provided. The present disclosure also provides a system for powering a medical accessory with an accessory support.
COUPLING SYSTEMS
A coupling device comprising a base member connectable to a first item and a release member connectable to a second item, the base and release members being anglereleasably connectable together.
Secure equipment transfer system
A method of using a transfer system includes: supporting a first docking cone of the transfer system by a first support platform to orient a docking cone axis of the first docking cone with a vertical axis; inserting the first docking cone into a first docking cup of a transfer device of the transfer system; and locking the first docking cone within the first docking cup by a security mechanism of the transfer device, the security mechanism comprising a first security lever and a second security lever.
Medical apparatus rack
A medical device rack in which a medical device is detachably mountable, the medical device rack including: a main body; and a mounting section provided in the main body, the mounting section being configured such that the medical device is detachably mountable in a posture oriented in a lateral direction. The mounting section includes a supporting portion configured to be detachably fitted to the medical device to support the medical device in a rotatable manner.
System, method and apparatus for clamping
A number of racks which are configured to allow a number of devices to couple thereto are provided. In some embodiments, the racks are for use with a number of medical devices. Devices may be coupled to a rack by clamps. The racks may include a number of connectors which provide power and/or a network connection to devices coupled thereto. The racks may include a clamp which allows the racks to couple to a supporting structure such as a pole.
