POLE SUPPORT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A patient may be connected to a variety of medical equipment which may vary patient to patient or during the patient's treatment. Similarly, other user may wish to have configurable workstations, configurable desks, configurable displays, configurable furniture etc. where in each instance, both medical and non-medical, the system should not only provide mounting and support but also ease of mobility. The invention provides a pole support system with attended attachments allowing a diverse range of equipment, supports, shelves, electrical equipment etc. to be mounted and supported upon a mobile base in a highly configurable manner. Further, a user can easily move and position some elements upon the pole support system with only one hand as their other hand is engaged holding something else.
Interlocking base for mobile stand for use with intravenous delivery of medications
A base having legs supported on wheels. A second leg may be positioned between first and third legs and the first leg may be positioned between the second leg and a fourth leg. A first gap is positioned between the second and third legs, and a second gap is positioned between the fourth and first legs. The first and second gaps are configured to at least partially receive a user's first and second feet, respectively. A keyway with a bridge may be defined between the first and second legs. A key that may be formed in a fifth leg is removably receivable inside a like keyway of a like base to thereby interlock the bases together so that they are moveable as a unit. An end portion of the key is positionable underneath a like bridge of the like keyway such that the like bridge limits upward movement of the key.
Leg attached medical dolly system
A leg attached medical dolly system for increasing user mobility while attached to a medical device includes a base platform having an upper surface, a lower surface, an outer edge, and an aperture. An equipment strap has a first segment and a second segment attached to the base platform. The first segment has a first equipment closure mechanism that is selectively engageable with a second equipment closure mechanism of the second segment to secure a medical device to the base platform. A plurality of wheels is coupled to the lower surface of the base platform. A tether has a platform end attached to the base platform through the aperture and a harness end with a harness attachment mechanism. A harness assembly is wearable by a user, and the harness attachment mechanism attaches to the harness assembly such that the base platform is pulled by the tether as the user moves.
Liquid parameter detecting method and system
A liquid detection system for detecting a liquid level position of a liquid in a hanging bottle includes a hanging bottle casing unit for determining the overall gravity of the hanging bottle, a hanging bottle cap unit for determining the liquid density in the hanging bottle, and a transmission unit for transmitting the overall gravity and liquid density of the hanging bottle to a server, and the server. The server is configured to determine the liquid gravity in the hanging bottle, calculate the liquid volume in the hanging bottle based on the liquid gravity and the liquid density, and determine a liquid level position based on the liquid volume.
LIQUID PARAMETER DETECTING METHOD AND SYSTEM
The present disclosure provides a liquid detection system for detecting a liquid level position of a liquid in a hanging bottle. The system includes a hanging bottle casing unit for determining the overall gravity of the hanging bottle, a hanging bottle cap unit for determining the liquid density in the hanging bottle, and a transmission unit for transmitting the overall gravity and liquid density of the hanging bottle to a server, and the server. The server is configured to determine the liquid gravity in the hanging bottle, calculate the liquid volume in the hanging bottle based on the liquid gravity and the liquid density, and determine a liquid level position based on the liquid volume.
DISPOSABLE CONTAINER FOR MOBILE MEDICAL CART
A medical cart having a chassis with a plurality of wheels attached thereto; a plurality of drawers supported on the chassis; a temperature-regulated compartment in the chassis; a locking bar pivotally attached to the chassis; a headwall mount attached to the chassis; a display mounted on the chassis; and a positionable task light attached to the chassis. Each drawer includes a drawer lock shiftable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The locking bar is shiftable between a locked position and an unlocked position so that the locking bar serves as a secondary safety lock for all the drawers and the door of the temperature-regulated compartment.
Disposable Infusion System Enclosure
A one-time use plastic disposable lockbox enclosing an infusion system including the infusion device, method of delivery such as tubing, and source reservoir such as a fluid bag or syringe is provided. The lockbox includes first and second thermoplastic shells joinable along a separation plane to define a housing. The housing carries an IV bag volume abutting a periphery of a filled standard IV bag to restrain movement of that IV bag along the separation plane and a pump volume abutting a periphery of an IV pump to restrain movement of that IV pump along the separation plane. A channel extends between the pump volume and an exterior of the housing to allow egress of a standard IV line from the housing.
SELF-INFLATING CUFF FOR USE WITH IV SET
A self-inflating cuff and methods of using the self-inflating cuff are provided. The self-inflating cuff includes first and second compartments formed within the self-inflating cuff and housing respective substances. The first and second compartments are configured to rupture in response to the force applied to an exterior surface of the self-inflating cuff, which causes the respective substances to combine to initiate a chemical reaction to produce a reactionary force on an interior surface of the self-inflating cuff that causes the self-inflating cuff to expand. The self-inflating cuff is further configured to expand such that a first opening at a first end of the self-inflating cuff and a second opening at a second end opposite the first end of the self-inflating cuff enlarge enough to receive a container through the first opening and a tubing of the container through the second opening.
PORTABLE ENTERAL FEEDING BAG HOLDER
A portable feeding bag holder for an enteral feeding bag is provided. The portable feeding bag holder includes a planar base having upper and lower surfaces. A cradle for receiving an enteral pump is disposed on the upper surface of the base. A frame extends upwardly from the base. A transverse bracket member extends across the frame and is spaced from the base. The bracket member includes a support including at least one receiver for suspending an enteral feeding bag therefrom. A handle is disposed at a distal end of the frame opposite the base. A method of transporting an enteral feeding bag is also provided.
Apparatus for infusing fluid
A pump for pumping fluid includes a tube platen, a plunger, a bias member, inlet and outlet valves, an actuator mechanism, a position sensor, and a processor. The plunger is configured for actuation toward and away from the infusion-tube when the tube platen is disposed opposite to the plunger. The tube platen can hold an intravenous infusion tube. The bias member is configured to urge the plunger toward the tube platen.
