FLUIDIC GROUP AND RELATED APPARATUS FOR DRUG PREPARATION
A fluidic group (21) couplable to a first container (24) adapted to contain a drug and a second container (22) adapted to contain an ingredient, comprising: a syringe (154) comprising a movable piston (150) defining a chamber (162a) having a variable volume; a first (171, 172) and a second (25) coupling group selectively fixable to the second (22) and, respectively, to the first (24) container; a forking element (166) having a first (166′), a second (166″) and a third (166′″) inlet in fluid communication with each other and, respectively, with the first coupling group (171, 172), with the second coupling group (25) and with the chamber (162a); a first one-way valve (168) interposed between the first coupling group (171, 172) and the forking element (166) and controllable to allow the passage of the ingredient from the second container (22) to the chamber (162a); and a second one-way valve (176) interposed between the second coupling group (25) and the forking element (166) and controllable to allow the passage of the ingredient from the chamber (162a) to the first container (24).
DEVICE FOR CONNECTING A VIAL TO A CONTAINER OR TO A FLUID LINE AND TRANSFERRING THE CONTENTS OF A VIAL TO A CONTAINER OR A FLUID LINE AS WELL AS A METHOD FOR DOING SO AND USE OF SUCH A DEVICE
The invention relates to a device and a method for connecting a vial [1] to a container or to a fluid line and transferring the contents of a vial [1] to a container or to a fluid line, wherein the device has a first holder [4] which is suitable for accommodating a connecting device [8], a second holder [5] which is suitable for accommodating a vial [1], an actuating means [7] and a connecting device [8] which consists of an annular housing [13], an inside part [12] having at least one puncture device [14] and a tube connection [16], wherein the annular housing [13] of the connecting device [8] can be constructed to be rotatable about the inside part [12] in the function of a valve, so that by rotation of the housing [13] the flow paths of the connecting device [8] can be opened and closed.
Bottle holder for an injection device
The invention relates to a bottle holder (1) for an injection or infusion device, with a bottle receiver (2) for receiving a storage bottle, and with a spike secured on the bottle holder (1) for the purpose of punching an outlet opening into the storage bottle, or a holding means (3) for applying an exchangeable spike (4). In a development of such a bottle holder with which the infusion or injection device can be equipped as easily and as quickly as possible with a filled storage bottle, the invention proposes that the bottle receiver (2) is movable with respect to the spike (4) or with respect to the holding means (3) for the spike (4), and, when the bottle receiver (2) moves in the direction of the spike (4), a storage bottle arranged in the bottle receiver (2) is placed onto the spike (4) in such a way that the spike (4) punches an outlet opening into the storage bottle.
SYRINGE PLUNGER WITH HINGED FLANGE
A plunger for movably mounting within a cavity or barrel of a syringe. The plunger includes a contact face having a flange movably mounted thereto, wherein the flange is movable between an open configuration wherein an opening is formed between the flange and a portion of the plunger, the opening configured for engagement with an IV hook or other engagement member, and a closed configuration wherein the upper surfaces of the contact face and the flange are generally planar with one another.
INFUSION FLOW REGULATOR
The present invention relates to an infusion flow adjuster which is used in order to adjust the flow rate of an infusion solution to be administered when performing infusion therapy, and relates to an infusion flow adjuster in which an arc-shaped flow path for adjusting the distance through which the infusion solution passes and a circular flow path for inducing discharge of the infusion solution that has passed through the arc-shaped flow path are constituted in a single plane, and which is easy to produce as a product for accurately adjusting the flow rate, affords convenience of handling being provided with a handle in a suitable position, and also, in addition to allowing fine adjustment of the flow rate, limits the maximum flow rate to an appropriate value, so being convenient to use during actual infusion therapy.
Portable Canister Holder with a Collapsible Body
A portable canister holder is disclosed. The portable canister system comprises a collapsible substantially cylindrical, non-rigid body assembly comprising a plurality of vertical support rods configured to support a plurality of horizontal support restraints. The vertical support rods are able to pivot along with the horizontal supporting restraints, thereby collapsing the body assembly. The lowest horizontal support restraint further comprises a stopper to prevent the canister from being disconnected from the body assembly when in use. The portable canister holder further comprises an articulating joint member having a first end configured to attach to the body assembly and a second end configured to attach to a clamping device. The portable canister holder further comprises an IV holder configured to attach to the body assembly, the IV holder having a plurality of rods configured to support an IV bag.
GRAVITY INFUSION IV BAG
A gravity infusion IV bag having an elastic suspension arrangement with one or more suspension elements attached at a top end of the bag section and arranged to be hung from a support such that, as fluid flows from the outlet, the weight of the bag section reduces and the elastic suspension arrangement contracts to raise the bag section relative to the support. The one or more suspension elements may be formed from styrene-ethylene-butadiene-styrene (SEBS) and have a 100% Young's modulus in the range 80-120 psi.
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHODS OF MANAGING SALES DATA
A computer implemented method for managing sales information associated with a prospect. The method includes receiving data, at a processor, associated with the prospect; storing the received prospect data in a memory; analyzing, at the processor, the prospect data; generating, at the processor, a sales plan based at least on the analyzed data by generating at least one guideline; transmitting the at least one guideline to a sales member; receiving, at the processor, feedback data associated with the at least one guideline; and analyzing, at the processor, the received feedback data to update the sales plan based at least on the analyzed feedback data.
