EQUIPMENT CLIP FOR UROLOGY AND METHODS FOR USE
The present disclosure provides a device for holding at least one conduit. The device includes a ring having a first end and a second end. The device also includes a first clamping jaw extending from the first end of the ring. The device also includes a second clamping jaw extending from the first end of the ring. A first clamping surface of the first jaw contacts a second clamping surface of the second jaw in a first position, and the first clamping surface is spaced apart from the second clamping surface in a second position. The device transitions from the first position to the second position in response to application of an external force applied to an exterior surface of the ring between the first end and the second end. The device also includes a channel including an inlet positioned at the second end of the ring. The channel is configured to releasably receive the at least one conduit via the inlet, and the channel prevents the at least one conduit from contacting the first end of the ring.
Bottle holder for a syringe
A bottle holder for a syringe includes a stop surface, a piercing hollow spike protruding beyond the stop surface, a guideway, and a first and a second clamping element. Each clamping element includes a through-hole and is moveable back and forth between an insertion position and a clamping position. When the clamping elements are in the insertion position, a neck of the bottle can be moved through the through-holes until the front end of the bottle abuts against the stop surface such that the piercing hollow spike pierces a film at the front end of the bottle. At least one of the clamping elements in its clamping position presses against the neck of the bottle in order to clamp the bottle in the holder.
Portable enteral feeding platform
Method and apparatus for a portable enteral feeding platform having a telescoping two-piece upright column support which is height adjustable, being pivotally mounted onto a base so that the upright column can be pivoted forwardly onto the base into a storage position. In the upright position, the upright column support is both height adjustable and 360 degrees rotatable at its top where it supports an adjustable clamp wherein the clamp can be rotated 360 degrees and locked in place and wherein the adjustable clamp can be moved toward and away from the upright support column to a user selected position. The adjustable clamp is designed to receive and securely hold a syringe or like feeding tube. An optional base clamp is also provided for securing the base to a table top or like support surface.
Intravenous tube holding assembly
An intravenous tube holding assembly for organizing and protecting a plurality of intravenous tubes includes a tensioner is removably coupled to an intravenous tube pole. The tensioner is biased in a first direction and the tensioner is urgeable in a second direction. A retainer is provided that has a plurality of engaging slots therein. Each of the engaging slots engages a respective one of a plurality of intravenous tubes for organizing the intravenous tubes. A fastener is provided and the fastener is coupled to the retainer. The fastener releasably engages the tensioner such that the tensioner accommodates a weight of the intravenous tubes in the retainer. Moreover, the tensioner is urged in the second direction when the intravenous tubes are tugged upon.
CATHETER TUBING SYSTEM
A tubing assembly device for use in combination with a typical Foley or multi-lumen urinary catheter that assists in the prevention of said tubes becoming entangled or mismanaged by the physician or patient includes a drainage tube and at least one fluid delivery tube having connectors operable to attach to catheter lumens and container lumens. The tubes are bundled together by having a portion of their exterior surface fixedly attached to a portion of the exterior surface of another tube. In order to prevent kinks where the device is attached to the catheter, the upper portions of each tube are necessarily longer than the lower portions. Also, as a further option, the connectors on opposing ends of the tubes include a variety of markings to ensure proper attachment.
Secure line holder
Embodiments are directed toward a medical line holder system. The system preferably includes a tray and a secure line holder. The tray preferably has a holder receptacle. The tray preferably couples to a head of a surgery bed. The holder receptacle preferably receives and separably secures the secure line holder. The secure line holder preferably securely holds multiple medical lines both while being secured in the receptacle and while being separated from the tray. The secure line holder preferably separably couples to a bed rail of a hospital transportation bed or a hospital recovery bed after being separated from the tray.
LOCKING TUBE CLIP
A component useable with one or more tube comprises a body engageable with one or more external surface recesses of the one or more tubes. The component has a pair of jaws extending from the body for gripping an item. The component is configured, such that, in use, in a first orientation of the body relative to the respective tube(s) recesses, the component is movable along a length of the tube(s); and, in a second orientation of the body relative to the respective tube(s) recesses, the component is resistive to movement along a length of the tube(s).
Arrayed multi-IV set management device
A multi-IV set retention device for retaining flexible lines (e.g., medical fluid lines, such as IV sets) comprises a retention body having a normal axis, and a plurality of retention slots that removably receive and retain flexible lines, and a plurality of openings to facilitate insertion of a flexible line into an associated retention slot. The retention slots are radially arrayed about the normal axis of the retention body, such that the plurality of flexible lines is movable as a unitary body. The flexible lines can be radially bundled as a collection of flexible lines that define a center of mass about a central portion of the retention device, so that the flexible lines move and act as a single flexible line. One or more of such multi-IV set retention devices can be coupled along a length of one or more flexible lines, thus fanning an IV set retention system. A method of making the multi-IV set retention device, and a method of retaining flexible lines, is provided.
Manually openable clamping holder with sensor
A manually openable clamping holder for releasably fixing a single-use medical device to a medical treatment apparatus has a sensor for detecting the position of the clamping jaws of the clamping holder. With the clamping holder, the correct equipping of a medical treatment apparatus with the appropriate single-use device can be monitored economically and with simple operation.
Clip-holder for intravenous administration set
A clip-holder device for retaining and positioning an IV set tubing, and methods for using and kits including the clip-holder device.
