Coil electronic component
A coil electronic component includes a support substrate, a coil pattern disposed on at least a surface of the support substrate and having a core region in the center of the coil pattern, at least one metal thin plate disposed on an upper portion of the coil pattern and having a shape bent toward the core region, an encapsulant sealing at least a portion of the support substrate, the coil pattern, and the at least one metal thin plate, and an external electrode disposed outside of the encapsulant and connected to the coil pattern.
Electronic component and electronic apparatus
An electronic component includes: an insulator part (10) of rectangular solid shape; a coil element (32) provided inside the insulator part (10); bottom electrodes (40) provided on a bottom face (14) of the insulator part (10) and electrically connected to the coil element (32); a plating layer (62) provided in a manner overlapping each bottom electrode (40) so that its end (64) on the bottom face (14) is away from the end (42) of the bottom electrode (40); a plating layer (60) which is arranged between the bottom electrode (40) and the plating layer (62) and overlaps the bottom electrode (40), and which is constituted by a metal having lower solder wettability and higher melting point than those of the plating layer (62); and an insulation layer (70) provided on the bottom face (14) in a manner covering the end (42) of the bottom electrode (40).
Choke with busbar winding turns
A choke comprising a core and a first power conductor, wherein the first power conductor comprises a first coil winding, having at least one complete turn about the core, characterized that at least one of the least one turns of the first coil winding comprises a rigid first busbar member and a rigid second busbar member.
COIL COMPONENT
A coil component improving insulation between external terminals provided on the same surface of an element body is provided. In the coil component, when a voltage is applied via the external terminal electrode, for example, a potential difference may occur between the outer end portions. In the coil component, since the insulation between the outer end portions is enhanced by the upper insulator exposed on the end face of the element body, even when a potential difference occurs between the outer end portions, a situation in which the outer end portions are short-circuited on the end face is prevented.
Reactor
A reactor including: a coil having a winding portion; a magnetic core that is disposed extending inside and outside the winding portion, and is configured to form a closed magnetic circuit; and a resin mold that includes an inner resin disposed between the winding portion and the magnetic core, and does not cover an outer peripheral face of the winding portion.
Reactor
A reactor including: an assembly that includes a coil and a magnetic core; a case in which the assembly is accommodated; a sealing resin with which the case is filled; and a pushing plate accommodated in the case, wherein the case includes a bottom, a side wall, and at least one groove that is open in an inner surface of the side wall, and the groove of the case includes an opening end provided in an end surface of the side wall of the case that is located opposite to the bottom of the case, and a closed end provided on the bottom of the case with respect to the opening end.
Reactor and manufacturing method of reactor
A manufacturing method of a reactor includes: a coil mold step of forming a coil mold in which a first resin is molded to cover at least part of a coil; and a main body mold step of forming a main body mold in which a second resin is molded to cover at least part of an assembly body in which the coil, the coil mold, two I-cores, and an O-core surrounding the coil and the coil mold are assembled. In the coil mold step, a gap plate configured to fill a gap between positions where the two I-cores are placed is formed by molding with the first resin. In the main body mold step, gap plates each configured to fill a gap between the O-core and a corresponding one of the I-cores are formed by molding with the second resin.
Dry High Voltage Instrument Transformer
A dry high voltage (HV) instrument transformer in the form of a HV current transformer includes a core casing having a secondary winding, a top housing, a primary winding, and a dry bushing, wherein the core casing comprises an insulation containing an electrically insulating material made of PES nonwoven impregnated and cured with low viscosity epoxy. The dry HV instrument transformer in the form of a HV voltage transformer includes a bottom tank housing, a cast of a primary winding module with an embedded screen surrounding the primary winding, a field grading disc, and a core, wherein the cast of the primary winding module is made of an insulating composite containing an electrically insulating material made of PES nonwoven impregnated and cured with low viscosity epoxy.
Power magnetic components packaged in otherwise unutilized space of power electronics
A power system has a power-electronic module that includes a housing defining a looped reservoir, a ferro-magnetic medium sealed within and filling the looped reservoir, and a conductor surrounded by the ferro-magnetic medium. The conductor is coiled within and along the looped reservoir, and has terminals extending out of the reservoir such that the ferro-magnetic medium and conductor form an inductor that opposes changes in magnitude of current flowing through the conductor.
COIL COMPONENT AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
A coil component has a magnetic element body made of resin containing magnetic particles, a coil part embedded in the magnetic element body, conductor posts which are embedded in the magnetic element body and whose one ends are connected to the coil part and the other ends are exposed from the magnetic element body, an insulating layer interposed between the conductor posts and the magnetic element body, and other insulating layers interposed between the coil part and the magnetic element body. Since the insulating layer is interposed between the conductor posts and the magnetic element body, it is possible to ensure insulation performance between the conductor posts and the magnetic element body and to prevent the occurrence of peeling therebetween.
