Coil component
A coil component includes a first alignment winding region in which a second wire is continuously wound so as to have turns such that the turns of the second wire are aligned with turns of a first wire having the same ordinal number outside the first wire in a direction perpendicular to a central axis. The ordinal number is counted from the turn nearest to the first flange portion.
Drum core and wire coil component
A drum core includes a core portion that extends in an axial direction, first and second flange portions respectively disposed at first and second ends of the core portion in the axial direction, and first and second terminal electrodes respectively disposed at the first and second flange portions. The first flange portion includes a bottom surface that is substantially parallel to the axial direction and on which the first terminal electrode is disposed, an outer end surface that is substantially perpendicular to the axial direction and that faces outward away from the core portion, and a first ridge portion and a second ridge portion respectively disposed at a first end and a second end of the outer end surface in a width direction substantially parallel to the bottom surface and the outer end surface, and the first ridge portion and the second ridge portion have different shapes.
Magnetic base body, coil component, and electronic device
A magnetic base body comprises multiple metal magnetic grains and bonding parts for bonding the multiple metal magnetic grains, wherein the bonding parts are constituted by an amorphous mixture containing carbon and an oxide of at least one element selected from silicon, aluminum, chromium, magnesium, titanium, and zirconium. A coil component using the magnetic base body can improve mechanical strength while ensuring insulation reliability.
Insulating Material-Coated Soft Magnetic Powder, Dust Core, Magnetic Element, Electronic Device, And Moving Body
An insulating material-coated soft magnetic powder includes: a core particle that includes a base portion containing a soft magnetic material containing Fe as a main component and at least one of Si, Cr, and Al, and that includes an oxide film provided on a surface of the base portion and containing an oxide of at least one of Si, Cr, and Al; and an insulating film that is provided on a surface of the core particle and that contains a ceramic, in which a thickness of the insulating film is 5 nm or more and 300 nm or less, and the oxide contained in the oxide film and the ceramic contained in the insulating film are mutually diffused at an interface between the oxide film and the insulating film.
Common mode choke coil
A common mode choke coil includes a core, and first and second coils opposed to each other and wound on the core. The core can have a square shape, or an elongated shape having a long axis and a short axis when viewed in a direction along a central axis of the core. Each of the first and second coils is a single-layer coil. An area of a cross-section of the core taken perpendicular to a circumferential direction of the core is constant in the circumferential direction of the core. The cross-section of the core has a quadrilateral shape.
Liquid cooled magnetic element
A magnetic element. In some embodiments, the magnetic element includes a first electrically conductive coil, having a first annular surface and a second annular surface; a second electrically conductive coil, having a first annular surface and a second annular surface; and a spacer between the first electrically conductive coil and the second electrically conductive coil; a fluid inlet; and a fluid outlet. The spacer may have a first face, the first face being separated from the first annular surface of the first electrically conductive coil by a first gap; and a fluid path may extend from the fluid inlet to the fluid outlet through the first gap.
Differential mode choke coil component
A differential mode choke coil component includes a substantially drum-shaped core, a substantially plate-shaped core, and first and second wires. The plate-shaped core is secured to each of the first and second flanges by using an adhesive with the first major surface facing the top surface of each of the first and second flanges with a spacing. The spacing has a mean value greater than or equal to about 20 μm between the first major surface and the top surface of each of the first and second flanges.
Coil wire, current sensor component, and current sensor
A coil wire includes a core wire and a winding wire. The winding wire is wound around a circumference of the core wire so as to form a plurality of spirals. The coil wire satisfies one of: (i) an outer surface of the core wire is exposed, and a distance between the outer surface of the core wire and an inner circumferential surface of part of the winding wire is smaller than a thickness of a first insulating film coated on the winding wire; or (ii) the outer surface of the core wire is coated by a second insulating film, and a distance between an outer surface of the second insulating film and the inner circumferential surface of part of the winding wire is smaller than a thickness of a thicker one of the first insulating film and the second insulating film.
