COIL COMPONENT
In a coil component, heat radiation around a through conductor is improved. In the coil component, since the cross-sectional area of the inner end portion of the planar coil is designed to be relatively large, heat generated in the through conductor is easily transferred to the inner end portion. Since heat is efficiently transferred from the through conductor to the inner end portion, high heat radiation around the through conductor is achieved.
TRANSFORMER
A transformer includes iron cores and a winding structure. The iron cores are stacked on each other at intervals, and iron core gaps are formed between the iron cores, wherein relative positions between the iron core gaps are fixed. The winding structure is disposed around the iron cores and includes a plurality of coils. A position of at least one of the iron core gaps corresponds to a position of at least one of coils.
Dual slotted bobbin magnetic component with two-legged core
A magnetic component for an electronic circuit includes first and second bobbins having respective core-receiving passageways. Each bobbin includes multiple slots with a winding insert in each slot. The winding inserts function as windings as well as guides for winding a coil of wire around the respective bobbins. The first and second bobbins are positioned on respective first and second legs of a magnetic core. The coils of wire are wound on the two bobbins in opposite directions such that the magnetic fluxes provided by the coils are in phase. The winding inserts have connection prongs that can be positioned in opposite direction such that the winding inserts of the first bobbin are connectable to a first printed circuit board and the winding inserts of the second bobbin are connectable to a second printed circuit board.
CAST WINDING INDUCTOR APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF
The invention comprises an apparatus, comprising an inductor, the inductor comprising: an inductor core; a first winding section comprising a first cast shape and a second winding section comprising the first cast shape, the first winding section mechanically joined to the second winding section to form a winding, the winding forming a wound shape about the inductor core. Optionally and preferably, a third winding section, comprising a second cast shape, mechanically joins the first winding section to the second winding section and a mechanical connector and/or an aluminum weld join the first winding section to the third winding section.
Coil and reactor
A coil includes a first winding portion having a first wire helically wound including at least one strand, and a second winding portion having a second wire helically wound including a plurality of strands electrically connected to the first winding portion and has an axis that is parallel to an axial direction of the first winding portion, wherein the strands included in the second wire are arranged in parallel in an axial direction of the second winding portion, the number of strands included in the second wire is greater than the number of strands included in the first wire, the cross-sectional area of the second wire is equal to or larger than the cross-sectional area of the first wire, and the cross-sectional area of each strand included in the second wire is equal to or smaller than the cross-sectional area of each strand included in the first wire.
COIL COMPONENT
A coil component includes a body including a first surface and a second surface disposed to oppose each other in a first direction, a first coil unit disposed in the body, and including a support member and a coil pattern disposed on at least one surface of the support member, a second coil unit disposed in the body, and including a wire-wound type coil; and a plurality of external electrodes connected to the first and second coil units, wherein a core axis of the first coil unit is not parallel to a core axis of the second coil unit.
ASSEMBLED MAGNETIC INDUCTOR WITH INSULATING LAYER COMPONENT
The present invention provides an assembled magnetic inductor with insulating layer component, and more particularly to printing, adhesion, or spray coating an insulating layer material on a pre-press molded surface of one of two internal metal components to cause an insulating layer to form on the outer surface thereof. Hence, an insulating layer between the two metal components is dispensed with in the assembly of the combination magnetic inductance, thereby further decreasing inductance of the assembly components, as well as reducing inter-component gaps and magnetic leakage, and acoustic noise.
Multi-Layered Metal Frame Power Package
An electronics assembly includes a plurality of planar conductive metal sheets including a first conductive metal sheet, a second conductive metal sheet attached and electrically coupled to the first metal sheet, and a third conductive metal sheet attached and electrically coupled to the second metal sheet. The second metal sheet is located between the first and third conductive metal sheets. Air gaps are defined in the plurality of planar conductive metal sheets to form metal traces that define electrically isolated conductive paths from an outer surface of the first conductive metal sheet to an outer surface of the third conductive metal sheet in a multilevel conductive wiring network. The multilevel conductive wiring network can be attached and electrically coupled to a microchip and to one or more capacitors to form a power converter.
NONLINEAR INDUCTOR, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF, AND NONLINEAR INDUCTOR ROW
Disclosed is a nonlinear inductor, a manufacturing method thereof, and a nonlinear inductor row. The nonlinear inductor includes two magnetic core assemblies, a conductor and a magnetic plastic encapsulation layer; the magnetic core assemblies include magnetic cores; each magnetic core includes a flange and a central column arranged on the flange; two central columns of the two magnetic core assemblies are opposite to each other; a non-uniform air gap exists between the two central columns and/or the magnetic core assemblies are made of different materials; the conductor is arranged on the two central columns; the two magnetic core assemblies and the conductor are located in the magnetic plastic encapsulation layer; electrode parts of the conductor are exposed outside the magnetic plastic encapsulation layer; and the magnetic core assemblies and the magnetic plastic encapsulation layer are made of different materials; thereby the nonlinear inductor has stepped saturation characteristics.
REACTOR, CONVERTER, AND POWER CONVERSION DEVICE
Provided is a reactor that can prevent a short circuit from occurring between turns of a coil even if a foreign object is present between turns. The reactor includes: an edgewise coil formed by a flat rectangular wire; a magnetic core; and a molded resin part that covers at least a portion of the magnetic core, wherein the edgewise coil includes a plurality of turns configured to form a rectangular shape, each of the plurality of turns includes four straight portions, and four curved corner portions that connect the adjacent straight portions to each other, each of the four corner portions includes an outer region in which a gap is provided between the adjacent turns, and the molded resin part is present in at least two of the gaps that are diagonally opposite to each other.
