Coil component

A coil component includes a body having one surface and the other surface opposing each other, and one side surface and the other side surface, respectively connecting the one surface and the other surface to each other and opposing each other in one direction, a wound coil embedded in the body, a lead portion extending from an end of the wound coil to one surface of the body and disposed on the one surface of the body, an insulating layer covering one surface of the body and having an opening exposing a portion of the lead portion and extending in the one direction, and an external electrode disposed in the opening and connected to the lead portion. The insulating layer includes finishing portions respectively disposed on opposing sides of the opening in the one direction.

Asymmetrical ballast transformer

A ballast transformer and system using the ballast transformer to couple power to a plasma load. The ballast transformer has a magnetic core, a first primary winding on a primary side of the magnetic core, a secondary winding on a secondary side of the magnetic core, and a second primary winding connected in series with the first primary winding and wound in proximity to the secondary winding on the secondary side of the magnetic core. The first primary winding is connectable to the AC power source, and the secondary winding is connectable to the plasma load via a coaxial cable.

Coil component

In a coil component, an uneven structure provided by an insulation layer and a resin wall contributes to extension of a contact area with respect to a magnetic body, so that an adhesive force with respect to the magnetic body is improved. In addition, the magnetic body protrudes downward toward an exposed region of the resin wall corresponding to a recessed portion in the uneven structure, a volume thereof is increased, and coil characteristics such as an inductance value are improved.

The at least one inductor is adapted to be arranged about a metal tube in which part of a cigarette can be inserted, and the metal tube is adapted to be heated by induction by the at least one inductor.

The present disclosure provides a circuit module and a solid-state transformer system. The circuit module includes: a first circuit unit outputting a first voltage; a second circuit unit outputting a second voltage, where the second voltage is less than the first voltage; and a shielding structure arranged between the first circuit unit and the second circuit unit, where the shielding structure includes: a first conductor layer electrically coupled to the first circuit unit, a second conductor layer electrically coupled to the second circuit unit, a third conductor layer located between the first conductor layer and the second conductor layer; a first insulation layer arranged between the first conductor layer and the third conductor layer; and a second insulation layer arranged between the second conductor layer and the third conductor layer.

CAST WINDING INDUCTOR APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF

The invention comprises an apparatus, comprising an inductor, the inductor comprising: an inductor core; a first winding section comprising a first cast shape and a second winding section comprising the first cast shape, the first winding section mechanically joined to the second winding section to form a winding, the winding forming a wound shape about the inductor core. Optionally and preferably, a third winding section, comprising a second cast shape, mechanically joins the first winding section to the second winding section and a mechanical connector and/or an aluminum weld join the first winding section to the third winding section.

HV APPARATUS AND A METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SUCH APPARATUS

A high voltage (HV) apparatus insulated with an insulating gel includes at least two electrically conductive elements, such as a head transformer cover, a head housing base, a core casing, a primary conductor, bottom external housing, a bottom support flange, and/or a core. At least one of the electrically conductive elements has a coating made of solid insulating material separating the surface of the conductive element from the insulating gel and adapted for limiting electron emission from the conductive elements into the insulating gel.

Coil component

A coil component in which a change in thicknesses of the winding part is prevented is provided. According to the coil component, since each of a pair of neighboring resin walls and a seed part between the pair of resin walls are separated by a predetermined distance, a plating part grown on the seed part is easy to grow uniformly between the pair of neighboring resin walls. For this reason, the winding part whose surface is gentle and in which a change in thickness is prevented is obtained by plating growth.
