An insertion set system includes a base configured to be secured to a patient, and a flexible tubing on the base. The flexible tubing has a distal end portion forming a cannula to be inserted into the patient. An inserter having a needle is received by the base. The needle has a channel in which the distal end portion of the flexible tubing is received. The needle is able to slide relative to the flexible tubing, to selectively withdraw the needle off of the distal end portion of the flexible tubing. The base may include a passage for fluid flow arranged transverse to the axial dimension of the distal end portion of the flexible tubing.

The drug delivery device may include a main housing having an interior surface defining an enclosed space, and an exterior surface releasably attachable to a patient. A container may be disposed in the enclosed space and include a reservoir containing a drug and a stopper. A drive assembly may also be disposed in the enclosed space and configured to move the stopper through the reservoir to expel the drug from the reservoir. The drive assembly may include a rotational power source and a gear module. The gear module may include a mounting plate and a plurality of gears rotatably connected to the mounting plate. Furthermore, the mounting plate may be separate from the main housing.

Patch for Use with an Injector Device

A patch for placement on the skin and for use with an injector device. The patch comprises a first layer on a first side of the patch, a second layer on a second side of the patch opposite to the first side, and a sealed fluid reservoir between the first and second layers. A fluid is contained within the fluid reservoir. The patch also includes a moveable rupturing element and an aperture. The rupturing element is configured to rupture the fluid reservoir to allow release of the fluid out of the fluid reservoir. The aperture extends at least partially through the patch to receive an injection needle of an injector device. Also provided is a system comprising an injector device and such a patch, and also a method of use of such a patch.

The fluid connector assembly includes a tab portion including a slot; a plug portion slidably connected to the tab portion the plug portion comprising a fluid path and a disc, the disc configured to seat within the slot; a catch feature located on a first end of the tab portion and configured to interact with a reservoir; and a latching feature located on a second end of the tab portion, the latching feature configured to interact and lock onto the reservoir, wherein force applied to the plug portion may overcome a threshold force and unseat the disc from the slot wherein the plug portion moves with respect to the tab portion.
