Aluminum Polymer Capacitor with Enhanced Internal Conductance and Breakdown Voltage Capability
An improved capacitor is provided. The capacitor comprises a working element wherein the working element comprises an anode comprising a first dielectric on the anode, a cathode and a conductive separator between the first dielectric and cathode. The conductive separator comprises a separator and a first conductive polymer wherein the first conductive polymer at least partially encapsulates the separator. A second conductive polymer at least partially encapsulates the first conductive polymer and wherein the first conductive polymer has a higher conductivity than the second conductive polymer. An anode lead is in electrical contact with the anode and a cathode lead is in electrical contact with the cathode.
ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITOR
An electrolytic capacitor includes a capacitor element and a solution containing a solute. The capacitor element includes: an anode foil provided with a dielectric layer on the anode foil; a cathode foil disposed to face the anode foil; and a conductive polymer layer disposed between the anode foil and the cathode foil. The cathode foil is provided with a first layer disposed on the cathode foil, the first layer including at least one selected from the group consisting of carbon, nickel, a nickel compound, titanium, and a titanium compound. The conductive polymer layer includes a conductive polymer in contact with at least a part of a surface of the first layer. The cathode foil has a roughened surface, and the roughened surface of the cathode foil has a surface expansion rate ranging from 1.5 cm.sup.2/cm.sup.2 to 500 cm.sup.2/cm.sup.2, inclusive.
ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITOR
An electrolytic capacitor includes a capacitor element and a solution containing a solute. The capacitor element includes: an anode foil provided with a dielectric layer on the anode foil; a cathode foil disposed to face the anode foil; and a conductive polymer layer disposed between the anode foil and the cathode foil. The cathode foil is provided with a first layer disposed on the cathode foil, the first layer including at least one selected from the group consisting of carbon, nickel, a nickel compound, titanium, and a titanium compound. The conductive polymer layer includes a conductive polymer in contact with at least a part of a surface of the first layer. The cathode foil has a roughened surface, and the roughened surface of the cathode foil has a surface expansion rate ranging from 1.5 cm.sup.2/cm.sup.2 to 500 cm.sup.2/cm.sup.2, inclusive.
CONDUCTIVE POLYMER HYBRID TYPE ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITOR
A conductive polymer hybrid aluminum electrolytic capacitor having a high withstand voltage with a rated voltage of 63 V or higher, high heat resistance to high temperature reflow solder, and durability and reliability under high temperature environment with 125° C. or higher is provided. In a conductive polymer hybrid aluminum electrolytic capacitor having an electrolytic solution and a cathode with conductive polymer, the electrolytic solution contains a solute and a solvent, the solvent contains diethylene glycol and/or triethylene glycol as a main component, the solute contains a long-chain dibasic carboxylic acid with 12 or more carbon atoms and an amine with a high boiling point, and the electrolytic solution is contained in a space of the capacitor element to which a solid electrolytic layer by conductive polymer is formed.
HYBRID ELECTRODE MATERIALS FOR BIPOLAR CAPACITOR-ASSISTED SOLID-STATE BATTERIES
A bipolar capacitor-assisted solid-state battery is disclosed that includes a plurality of electrochemical battery unit cells, each of which includes a negative electrode, a positive electrode, and a lithium ion-conductive electrolyte-containing separator disposed between the negative electrode and the positive electrode. The lithium ion-conductive electrolyte-containing separator of each electrochemical battery unit cell comprises a solid-state electrolyte material, and, additionally, at least one negative electrode of the electrochemical battery unit cells or at least one positive electrode of the electrochemical battery unit cells includes a capacitor material. The bipolar capacitor-assisted solid-state battery further includes a bipolar current collector disposed between a negative electrode of one electrochemical battery unit cell and a positive electrode of an adjacent electrochemical battery unit cell. A method for manufacturing the disclosed bipolar capacitor-assisted solid-state battery is also disclosed.
Aluminum Polymer Capacitor with Enhanced Internal Conductance and Breakdown Voltage Capability
An improved capacitor is provided. The capacitor comprises a working element wherein the working element comprises an anode comprising a first dielectric on the anode, a cathode and a conductive separator between the first dielectric and cathode. The conductive separator comprises a separator and a first conductive polymer wherein the first conductive polymer at least partially encapsulates the separator. A second conductive polymer at least partially encapsulates the first conductive polymer and wherein the first conductive polymer has a higher conductivity than the second conductive polymer. An anode lead is in electrical contact with the anode and a cathode lead is in electrical contact with the cathode.

An electrolytic capacitor includes a capacitor element and an electrolyte solution. The capacitor element includes: an anode foil provided with a dielectric layer on the anode foil; a cathode foil disposed to face the anode foil; and a conductive polymer layer disposed between the anode foil and the cathode foil. The cathode foil is provided with a first layer disposed on the cathode foil, the first layer including at least one selected from the group consisting of carbon, nickel, a nickel compound, titanium, and a titanium compound. The conductive polymer layer includes a conductive polymer in contact with at least a part of a surface of the first layer. The surface of the first layer has projections and recesses.

Electrolytic capacitor
An electrolytic capacitor includes an anode body having a dielectric layer; a solid electrolyte layer in contact with the dielectric layer of the anode body; and an electrolyte solution. The solid electrolyte layer includes a -conjugated conductive polymer. The electrolyte solution contains a solvent and a solute, and the solvent contains a glycol compound and a sulfone compound. A proportion of the glycol compound contained in the solvent is 10% by mass or more. A proportion of the sulfone compound contained in the solvent is 30% by mass or more. A total proportion of the glycol compound and the sulfone compound contained in the solvent is 70% by mass or more.

An electrolytic capacitor includes an anode body having a dielectric layer; a solid electrolyte layer in contact with the dielectric layer of the anode body; and an electrolyte solution. The solid electrolyte layer includes a -conjugated conductive polymer. The electrolyte solution contains a solvent and a solute, and the solvent contains a glycol compound and a sulfone compound. A proportion of the glycol compound contained in the solvent is 10% by mass or more. A proportion of the sulfone compound contained in the solvent is 30% by mass or more. A total proportion of the glycol compound and the sulfone compound contained in the solvent is 70% by mass or more.
