NEEDLE MECHANISM MODULE FOR DRUG INFUSION DEVICE
A needle mechanism module for drug infusion device, includes: an infusion needle, provided with a front end and a rear end; a needle holder; provided with at least an auxiliary engaging part, the infusion needle being arranged on the needle holder, when the needle holder is at the working position, the rear end is inserted into the skin, and the front end is connected to the drug storage unit of the infusion device; an auxiliary engaging portion, arranged within the infusion device, engaged with the auxiliary engaging part to limit the needle holder at the working position; and a stopper, arranged on the housing of the infusion device, when the needle mechanism module is at intermediate position, the stopper limits the position of the needle holder, the front end is connected with the drug storage unit of the infusion device, to balance the internal and external pressures.
INFUSION NEEDLE STRUCTURE OF DRUG INFUSION DEVICE
An infusion needle structure of drug infusion device includes: an infusion needle including a front end and a back end; a needle holder provided with at least one auxiliary fastener; one fastening portion, arranged inside the infusion device, cooperates with the auxiliary fastener to lock the needle holder in the working position; an unlock hole provided on the needle holder or on the housing of the infusion device; and an unlock rod that is inserted into the unlock hole and pushed, thus releasing and resetting the needle holder. The infusion needle is able to reset and released when the infusion device is during replacement.
Fluid delivery devices, systems and methods
Fluid delivery devices, systems and methods. The fluid delivery devices may be used to delivery fluid (e.g., insulin) to a user. The devices may have one or more inlets, and may be configured for use with an injection device, such as a syringe, and/or with a pump.
Peelable Cathlock
A peelable cathlock device is configured to allow a catheter or a port to be able to be replaced independently of each other. The peelable cathlock includes a body defining a cylindrical shape and extending from a first end to a second end. The body defines a lumen providing fluid communication between the first end, which is configured to attach to the proximal end of a catheter, and the second end configured to attach to a port. The peelable cathlock includes a tear line extending along a portion of the body are configured to allow the body to separate along the tear line when a force is applied.
Introducer needle with notches for improved flashback
A catheter system may include a catheter adapter, a catheter extending distally from the catheter adapter, an introducer needle extending through the catheter, a flash chamber in fluid communication with a needle lumen of the introducer needle, and a seal element. The introducer needle may include a wall defining the needle lumen, a first notch formed through the wall, and a second notch formed through the wall. The seal element may be proximal to the first notch and the second notch and within the catheter between an outer surface of the introducer needle and an inner surface of the catheter. The seal element may prevent priming fluid from travelling distal to the seal element. The seal element in conjunction with the first notch, the second notch, and the flash chamber may facilitate pressure-driven blood flow into the catheter for detection of flashback and transfixing when priming occurs prior to insertion into vasculature.
Administering instrument and drug solution administering system
An administering instrument is disclosed, which is capable of preventing a needle tube from coming out of a living body during administration of a drug solution and a drug solution administering system including the administering instrument and a medicinal solution administering device. The administering instrument includes a puncture part that has a contact surface contacting a body surface H of a user, a needle holding part for holding a needle tube, and a communication passage communicating with a lumen of the needle tube. The puncture part includes a fixing part that is disposed above the contact surface and fixes the first end part of the tube to the puncture part in a state where the first end part of the tube is inclined toward the contact surface of the puncture part.
SUBCUTANEOUS DEVICE WITH LEAK PREVENTION
A medical device includes a base having a needle channel and a first surface configured to be secured to a patient's skin. An insertable member is configured to be secured to the base with a length portion of the insertable member extending out of the needle channel at the first surface, for insertion through the patient's skin at an insertion site. A septum extends across the needle channel. The septum has a body through which an insertion needle may be selectively extended to facilitate the subcutaneous insertion of the length portion of the insertable member. The septum provides a liquid seal across the needle channel. The needle channel and the septum provide a sealed volume in which a limited amount of blood or other fluid from the insertion site may be held.
Fluid conveyance safety devices, methods, and systems
A vascular access device may include a blood circuit having an arterial blood line and a venous blood line. The venous blood line is connected to a first access needle and the arterial blood line is connected to a second access needle. The venous blood line is connected to an access component affixed to the second access needle and configured such that when the second access needle is used to infuse blood into a patient, the access component is positioned to withdraw blood and convey it into the venous line. The withdrawn blood may also be conveyed to an air detector to detect withdrawal of the second access needle.
Methods, systems, and apparatus for administering an antibody treatment via infusion
Presented herein are methods, systems, and apparatus for administering an antibody treatment via an infusion device, e.g., a rapid infusion device, e.g., for the treatment of a disease or condition that requires one or more infusions of monoclonal and/or polyclonal antibodies.
Infusion set component with modular fluid channel element
A fluid channel module for an infusion set component of a fluid infusion device that delivers a fluid to a patient includes a body section comprising coupling features to mate with a base of the infusion set component. The fluid channel module includes an interior fluid flow channel formed within the body section to receive the fluid from the fluid infusion device. The fluid channel module includes a conduit having a first end in fluid communication with the interior fluid flow channel, and having a second end to deliver the fluid to the patient.
