Device for Administration of Fluid Medicaments
A device 2 for the administration of fluids to a human or animal body comprising a housing 3 with a first inlet 28, at least one second inlet 29, 30, one outlet 31 and a collecting point, wherein the first inlet 28 communicates with the collecting point through a first channel and the outlet 31 communicates with the collecting point. The second inlet 29, 30 communicates with the collecting point or an indicator chamber 24, 25 through a second channel 21, 22 in which a valve 26, 27 is arranged, the valve 26, 27 being adjustable between a first position and a second position, wherein, in the first position of the valve 26, 27, the second channel 26, 27 communicates with the indicator chamber 24, 25 and, in the second position of the valve 26, 27, the second channel 21, 22 communicates with the collecting point.
Filter-integrated medicine transfer device and medicinal liquid injection apparatus including the same
A channel for a medicinal liquid is formed in a filter-integrated medicine transfer device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The filter-integrated medicine transfer device includes: a housing having an air passage that diverges from a medicinal liquid channel and is connected to outside; at least one hydrophobic air-passing filter disposed in the housing and disposed at a boundary between the air passage and the medicinal liquid channel; and at least one medicine transfer pipe disposed in the housing and having a capillary channel constituting a portion of the medicinal liquid channel.
Pressure measurement cell for use in an infusion or injection system
A pressure measurement cell for use in an infusion or injection system for the injection of a fluid, with a housing in which at least one filter unit, through which the fluid under pressure is conducted, and at least one pressure transducer for the detection of the pressure of the fluid flowing from the filter unit are located. Such a pressure measurement cell is pressure-stable, causes only a slight pressure decline in the hose system of the infusion or injection system, can be produced at low cost, and makes possible a simple installation and handling when the hose system is inserted into a hose pump.
DEVICE FOR SEPARATING BUBBLES FROM INJECTABLE DRUGS
The device for separating bubbles from an injectable drug is disclosed, which prevents the bubbles from entering a blood vessel when the injectable solution is delivered to a vein. This device improves the stability of the injectable solution when administered to a human body, and the device is easily added to a conventional infusion or injectable solution sets, thereby improving user convenience and efficiency.
Filtration device
A filtration device includes: a housing that defines a liquid flow path; and a filtration sheet that separates the liquid flow path into a flow path upstream side and a flow path downstream side. The housing includes: a first housing member and a second housing member that sandwich the filtration sheet, and a joining member that joins the first housing member and the second housing member in a state in which the filtration sheet is sandwiched between the first housing member and the second housing member. A gap is located between the first housing member and the second housing at a position outward of an outer edge of the filtration sheet. The joining member seals the gap between the first housing member and the second housing member at the position outward of the outer edge of the filtration sheet.
FLUID DELIVERY FILTERS
Filters for use with fluid infusion devices are disclosed herein. According to some embodiments, the present technology includes a system for delivering a fluid medication to a patient at an infusion site, the system comprising a fluid conduit configured to transport a fluid medication along at least a portion of a fluid path extending between a reservoir containing the fluid medication and a cannula subcutaneously inserted in a patient at an infusion site, and a filter disposed within the fluid conduit and configured to trap particulates that form in the fluid medication, wherein the filter comprises a porous structure including glycerin.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR CNS DISEASES
This invention describes agents, methods, compositions, kits and uses of medicaments for inhibiting or suppressing expression of TGF-2 for treating or ameliorating the symptoms of a CNS disease in a human subject or animal, including diffuse midline glioma (DMG) and K27M GBM. The agents may be used in combination with cancer drugs. These purposes can be achieved with formulations of agents for inhibiting or suppressing expression of TGF-2. More particularly, this invention discloses compositions, methods and uses for antisense oligonucleotides against TGF-2, in a regimen for CNS disease. This invention further describes novel devices and methods for delivering a pharmaceutical composition by intracranial infusion.
