Waterproof switch device
A waterproof switch device includes: a switch member including a body portion and a movable portion; an operated portion that is a shaft member having a distal end exposed from an opening provided in an exterior member of an electronic apparatus and a proximal end connected to the movable portion, the operated portion including a flange portion extending in a radial direction; a waterproof cover made of elastomer material; and a retaining member including an opening portion through which a part of the operated portion closer to the distal end than the flange portion can pass but the flange portion cannot pass, the retaining member being disposed farther inward from the exterior member than the waterproof cover.
SWITCHGEAR-CONTACTING DEVICE
A switchgear contact device includes at least one first contact element and at least one second contact element which can be slid inside each other in a positive-locking manner, such that they can be connected to each other in an electrically conductive manner in order to create an electrically conductive connection. The at least one first contact element includes a first cup-like contact sleeve and the at least one second contact element includes a contact pin that is surrounded by a hollow cylinder-like enclosure and is centrally arranged therein. A peripheral free area is provided between the contact pin and the enclosure which can be closed on the front side by an annular stop on which a force is exerted and which is arranged such that it is displaceable in the axial direction of the contact pin.
Contact assembly for electrically and mechanically connecting a first terminal of a first apparatus to a second terminal of a second apparatus
A contact assembly for connecting electrically and mechanically a first terminal of a first apparatus to a second terminal of a second apparatus, wherein at least one of the first and the second apparatus is movable with respect to the other along a connection/disconnection direction, includes: a plurality of electrically conducting contact-finger-elements, each including a main contact portion configured for engaging the second terminal and an auxiliary contact portion for engaging the first terminal, wherein the finger-contact-elements are supported by a support frame of the contact assembly connectable to the first terminal or are configured for being directly connectable and supportable by the first terminal; one or more spring elements configured for acting on the contact-finger-elements so to urge the main contact portions against the second terminal when the first and the second apparatus are connected. The main contact portions of at least two of the plurality of contact-finger-elements are shifted one relative to the other in such a manner so to engage the second terminal in subsequent moments when the first apparatus is being connected to the second apparatus by a relative movement thereof along the connection/disconnection direction.
Relay conditioning and power surge control
A system is provided for suppressing transient currents in electrical circuits to prevent damage to switching devices such as relays and/or solid-state switching devices. An associated automatic transfer switch (ATS) system (300) includes a primary power cord terminating in cord cap (302) for receiving power from a primary power source and a secondary power cord terminating in cord cap (304) for receiving power from a secondary power source. The system (300) further includes an output (306) for connecting to an output load such as a piece of electronic equipment. The output (306) may be a female outlet such that the system (300) can be directly connected to a male power port of a piece of equipment. The system (300) further includes a micro-ATS module (308) operative to sense a power outage or degradation of signal quality for the power signal of at least the primary power source and, in response, to switch the power supply from the primary source to the secondary power source. A surge suppression circuit (310) is interposed in the secondary power cord between the module (308) and the cord cap (304).
CONNECTOR FOR A CIRCUIT BREAKER AND A DOWNSTREAM CONTACTOR, FEEDER WITH SUCH A CONNECTOR AND ARRANGEMENT WITH SUCH A FEEDER
A connector for a circuit breaker and a downstream contactor has a one-piece configuration and facilitates an electrical connection between the circuit breaker and the downstream contactor. The connector includes at least one sensor, the connector includes an evaluation unit for measured values of the sensor, and the connector includes first contacts for the circuit breaker and second contacts for the downstream contactor, both acting in the same mating direction. A feeder for connecting a load and an arrangement having a distribution system, a load and a feeder, are also provided.
TRIGGER SWITCH
A trigger switch includes a housing including a casing; a trigger coupled to the housing to be capable of approaching and separating from the housing; a contact mechanism; a first terminal extending from outside of the housing to the casing; and a second terminal extending from outside of the housing to the casing and including a plate surface facing a plate surface of the first terminal. A first wire connection portion capable of connecting a conductor portion of a first wire is provided to an end of the first terminal located outside of the housing in an extending direction of the first terminal, and a second wire connection portion capable of connecting a conductor portion of a second wire is provided to an end of the second terminal located outside of the housing in an extending direction of the second terminal.
TEST PLUG FOR A FT SWITCH
A test plug has a housing with a first side that has inputs for receiving various connection types, a second side having blades and fingers extending thereform, and a base. The first side extends at an oblique angle from the base, providing accessibility to the input connections thereon. The second side is capable of a removable connection to a test switch in which the fingers separate the current jack contacts before the electrical connection between the test plug blades and test switch jaws is made.
POWER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WITH SNUBBER PLATE
An apparatus and method managing a circuit breaker in a power distribution system unit. The power distribution system unit can include a housing with an internal bus structure, a door assembly which includes at least one plug received in a socket. A snubber plate is positioned at the socket and includes an aperture through which the plug can be received.
WATERPROOOF SWITCH DEVICE
A waterproof switch device includes: a switch member including a body portion and a movable portion; an operated portion that is a shaft member having a distal end exposed from an opening provided in an exterior member of an electronic apparatus and a proximal end connected to the movable portion, the operated portion including a flange portion extending in a radial direction; a waterproof cover made of elastomer material; and a retaining member including an opening portion through which a part of the operated portion closer to the distal end than the flange portion can pass but the flange portion cannot pass, the retaining member being disposed farther inward from the exterior member than the waterproof cover.
ELECTRIC SWITCH
The invention relates to an electric switch for electric appliances. The electric switch include a switch housing, an actuating element, and a plug socket. The actuating element is configured to switch a contact system accommodated in the switch housing by movement between a switch-off position and a switch-on position. The plug socket is non-detachably connected to the switch housing. Electrical connections of the contact system are held in the plug socket such that ends of the electrical connections are in predetermined positions.
