Device for operating multiple functions in a motor vehicle
A device for operating multiple functions includes an operating element and a base. The base has side bearings with guide slots, hinge joints with pivot pins, and an actuator. The operating element is mounted in the guide slots to pivotably be mounted to the side bearings about an axis of rotation to thereby be movable between positions. At least one of the positions is assigned to a switching function. The operating element is mounted to the base on a centered bearing between the side bearings. The operating element is supported on the pivot pins. Upon the operating element being actuated to trigger a switching function, the actuator produces a haptic feedback by generating an actuating force on the operating element which causes the pivot pins to pivot in a direction parallel to the axis of rotation thereby causing the operating element to axially displace along this same direction.
Multifunction key and electronic device with multifunction key
A multifunction key includes a key member, a conductive member, and a circuit baseboard. A portion of the key member extends out from a shell of an electronic device; the conductive member is fixed on a bottom of the key member. The conductive member includes a first protrusion member and a second protrusion member. One surface of the circuit baseboard includes a conductive layer and a resistance layer respectively contacting the first and the second protrusion member. Another surface of the circuit baseboard includes a first and second conductive terminal respectively connected to the conductive layer and the resistance layer. The conductive layer, resistance layer, first and second conductive terminal, conductive member, and an internal circuit of the electronic device form a circuit loop. When the key member moves, a resistance value of the resistance layer within in the circuit loop is changed and produces a corresponding key command.
Type of one-piece microswitch with built-in resistor(s)
A type of one-piece microswitch with built-in resistor(s) having a switch casing, a button on the switch casing, with a pedestal located in the casing, a common terminal, a first terminal and a second terminal installed for connection to external circuits with the common terminal electrically connected to the first contact, the first and the second terminals electrically connected to the second contact respectively. The common terminal is connected to the first and/or second terminal via one or more resistors with a switching device used for switchover of connection or disconnection between the first and the second contacts. The button and pedestal are connected by a spring piece or spring. The switching device is installed on the button, which constitutes a linkage with the button.
Multi-modal sensing transducers
A multi-modal sensing transducer may include a force concentrator having an external sensing surface. The multi-modal sensing transducer may also include at least one electrode coupled to the force concentrator. Further, the multi-modal sensing transducer may include at least one force sensitive element disposed adjacent to the at least one electrode. Moreover, the multi-modal sensing transducer may include at least one air gap disposed between the at least one electrode and the at least one force sensitive element.
PNEUMATICALLY-CONTROLLED RF SWITCH
A pneumatically controlled RF switch configured to toggle an RF circuit between different states by opening or closing electrical contacts. The RF switch provides a reliable binary method for high power non-magnetic switching without introducing electrical noise or interference. The RF switch is configured to maintain optimized RF conditions and facilitate fine-tuning of RF frequency, impedance matching, and RF decoupling.
