Switch Actuator Adapter
A method of converting a switch assembly from a non-contact switch assembly to a contact switch assembly to detect an event. The method includes securing an adapter body outside of an enclosed housing of the switch assembly, with an actuation body connected to the adapter body, so that a target connected to the actuation body is supported outside of the enclosed housing by the adapter body and so that the actuation body is disposed to be moved relative to the adapter body from a first orientation to second orientation, upon occurrence of the event, to activate the switch assembly by moving the target between a first location outside of the enclosed housing and a second location outside of the enclosed housing. In one example, the target may be one or more of a magnetic target or a ferrous target.
KEYBOARD AND KEY STRUCTURE CAPABLE OF DISPLAYING INSTANT IMAGE
A keyboard and a key structure capable of displaying instant image thereof are provided. The key structure includes a display unit, a circuit membrane, an elastic member, a key seat, a first supporting frame, a second supporting frame, and a translucent keycap. The first supporting frame has two first arms and two axle portions. The ends of the first arms are slidably disposed on an accommodation portion of the key seat. The second supporting frame has two second arms and two linking holes. The ends of the second arms are pivotally connected to the accommodation portion. The linking hole is elongated-shaped. When the translucent keycap is not pressed, the axle portion abuts against one hole-end of the linking hole. When the translucent keycap is pressed, the axle portion abuts against another one hole-end of the linking hole.
Keyswitch structure and keycap support mechanism thereof
A keyswitch structure includes a keycap support mechanism and a keycap that is supported by the keycap support mechanism in a vertical direction. The keycap support mechanism includes a base and two supports. The base has two sliding slots. Each sliding slot has an opening in a horizontal direction and an obstruction block at the opening. The horizontal direction is perpendicular to the vertical direction. Each support has a sliding portion and a linkage portion. The sliding portions slide parallel to the horizontal direction in the sliding slots correspondingly. The obstruction block prevents the corresponding sliding portion from disengaging from the corresponding sliding slot. The two linkage portions push against each other in line contact, so that the two supports are mutually driven through the two linkage portions.
Button and button assembly for a drug delivery device
A button for a drug delivery device with a reduced operating loudness includes a plate-like button body forming a touch surface, wherein the plate-like button body is coupled by an axial supporting member to a noise-generating interface of the drug delivery device and movable into a longitudinal direction of the drug delivery device, wherein the plate-like button body includes a material composite with at least one first component consisting of a first material and at least one second component consisting of a second material different from the first material, wherein the at least one first component and the at least one second component are coupled via at least one coupling plane that is at least sectionwise slanted or perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. Further, the disclosure describes a button assembly for a drug delivery device which is shock resistant.

Button structure
A button structure has a base having a slot and a sensing element inserted into the slot. A pressure concentration element is fixedly connected by bonding to the sensing element and a key cap is mounted to the base. The key cap has a core member fixedly connected to a lower surface of a top plate of the key cap. The lower surface of the core member can be brought into contact with the pressure concentration element on application of a pressure to an upper surface of the top plate, such that the applied pressure is transmitted to the sensing element through the core member and the pressure concentration part. The sensing element is a piezoresistive film sensor.
Input device
An input device includes an operation member vertically movably disposed on a support, urging means for urging the operation member upward, and an inclination preventive member reducing inclination of the operation member by coupling first and second ends of the operation member in a first horizontal direction and linking vertical movements of the first and second ends together. The inclination preventive member includes a main shaft extending in the first horizontal direction and rotatably and axially supported by the support, a pair of arms extending from opposite ends of the main shaft toward an identical side of a second horizontal direction crossing the first horizontal direction, and a pair of secondary shafts extending in the first horizontal direction from distal ends of the pair of arms, and rotatably and axially supported by the first and second ends. The pair of arms include short and long arms.

Keyboard and key module thereof
A key module includes a keycap, an indicator light source, a first backlight source and a second backlight source. The keycap includes an indication area and a character area. The indicator light source is configured to emit an indicating light of a first color toward the indication area. The first backlight source is configured to emit a first backlight of the first color toward the character area. The second backlight source is configured to emit a second backlight of a second color toward the character area, wherein the second color is different from the first color. As a result, the key module could display the light of different colors based on different operations, thereby being distinguishable from the color of the light emitted by the adjacent key module.
Control device base that attaches to the paddle actuator of a mechanical switch
A remote control device may control electrical loads and/or load control devices of a load control system without accessing electrical wiring. The remote control device may be configured to be mounted over an installed mechanical switch having a paddle actuator and may include a base and a control unit that is configured to be removably attached to the base. The base may include a frame, a clamp arm, a screw, and/or a sleeve. The clamp arm may be configured to secure the base to a protruding portion of the paddle actuator. The clamp arm may be attached to the frame at a pivot joint. The clamp arm may be configured to pivot about the pivot joint. The pivot joint may be located proximate to an endpoint or a midpoint of the frame.
