Keyswitch using magnetic force to restore cap position
09715975 · 2017-07-25 · ·

A keyswitch includes a board, a cap, and a support device disposed between the board and the cap. A first abutting side of a first support member of the support device has a first hole formed toward a first bending arm of the board. The first bending arm is disposed through the first hole for pressing the first abutting side to abut against the board. The first abutting side has a second magnetic portion formed toward the second support member. A support portion extends from a second abutting side of the second support member toward the first support member for supporting the second magnetic portion. When the cap is pressed to make the second magnetic portion separate from a first magnetic portion of the board with rotation of the first and second support members relative to the first and second abutting sides, the cap moves to a pressed position.

Keyswitch and keyboard thereof

A keyswitch includes a board, a cap, and a support device. The support device is disposed between the board and the cap and includes first and second support members movably connected to the cap and the board. A stopping member is formed on one of the first support member and the cap. An elastic member is formed on the other one of the first support member and the cap. When the cap is not pressed, the stopping member abuts against the elastic member to keep the cap at a non-pressed position. When the cap is pressed to a pressed position, the cap and the first support member slide relatively to make the stopping member deform the elastic member. When the cap is released, the elastic member drives the cap and the first support member to slide relatively, so as to move the cap back to the non-pressed position.

SWITCH WITH SERVICE LIFE INDICATOR

KEY STRUCTURE

A key structure includes a keycap, a scissors-type connecting element, a metal triggering element, a switch circuit board, a base and a buffering element. The buffering element is integrally formed with the keycap, and fixed on an inner surface of the keycap. The buffering element is made of a soft material. As the keycap is depressed and moved, the buffering element is pushed by the keycap and subject to deformation. Consequently, the movable distance of the keycap is increased. That is, the tactile feel of depressing the keycap is enhanced.

Device for operating multiple functions in a motor vehicle

A device for operating multiple functions includes an operating element and a base. The base has side bearings and pins. The operating element has rotational axle end sections mounted in guide slots of the side bearings, respectively, to pivotably be mounted to the base about an axis of rotation to thereby be movable between at least two positions. At least one of the positions is assigned to a switching function. The operating element is further mounted to the base on a centered bearing between the side bearings of the base, and the operating element is supported on the pins of the base.

Switch system with high temperature operating plunger

A switch system includes a snap action switch, an operating plunger, and an actuator. The snap action switch is configured to move, with snap-action, from a first switch position to a second switch position. The operating plunger is disposed adjacent to the snap action switch and is coupled to selectively receive an actuating force. The operating plunger is configured, upon receipt of the actuating force, to retain the snap action switch in the first switch position. The operating plunger is further configured, upon removal of the actuating force, to allow the switch to move from the first switch position to the second switch position. The actuator contacts the operating plunger and is configured to selectively supply the actuating force to, and remove the actuating force from, the operating plunger. The operating plunger comprises a dielectric material having low thermal conductivity.

Pushbutton switch

A pushbutton switch for a switch assembly includes a pushbutton unit and a resilient member. The pushbutton unit includes a mounting seat and a pushbutton that covers the mounting seat. The resilient member is disposed between the mounting seat and the pushbutton, and has an insert connected to the mounting seat and having opposite ends that are spaced apart in an extending direction, and two resilient arms extending respectively from the opposite ends of the insert. Each resilient arm has two contact end sections abutting against the pushbutton and spaced apart in a transverse direction, and is deformed when the pushbutton moves to a contact position so as to generate a restoring force which urges the pushbutton to a non-contact position.
