UV LIGHT ILLUMINATED SURGICAL COVERING APPARATUS AND METHOD
A system and method of illuminating one or more foot pedals with an optically brightened layer positioned to fluoresce responsive to activation of one or more ultraviolet (UV) illuminating devices positioned adjacent or attached to the one or more foot pedals. The optically brightened layer may include an optically brightened coating covering at least a portion of each of the one or more foot pedals, or may include an optically brightened material layer positioned to cover and protect each of the one or more foot pedals from debris or moisture during use. A friction portion may be attached to the optically brightened material layer, the friction portion being positioned adjacent a lower surface of the foot pedal when the optically brightened material layer surrounds the foot pedal, the friction portion being configured to prevent sliding of the foot pedal against the floor or other surface.
ELEVATOR CONTROL BUTTON ASSEMBLY
An elevator control button assembly (7), in particular an elevator hall call button (7a), to be employed in an elevator system (2) comprises a stationary reference element (22); an activation element (26), which is movable with respect to the reference element (22); and at least two rods (24a-24d). The at least two rods (24a-24d) are arranged non-parallel to each other between the reference element (22) and the activation element (26). Each of the rods (24a-24d) contacts the reference element (22) and the activation element (26), respectively. The at least two rods (24a-24d) are configured for moving when the activation element (26) is moved with respect to the reference element (22).
Power-saving earphone
A power-saving earphone includes a casing, an audio member, a sensing member, and an elastic soft sheath. The casing has first and second grounding paths provided separately. The audio member is disposed in the casing and includes a processing unit electrically connected with the first grounding path. The sensing member includes a controlling unit electrically connected with the second grounding path. The elastic soft sheath is disposed on the casing and capable of being elastically deformed by an external force. When the elastic soft sheath is not deformed, the first and second grounding paths form an open circuit. When the elastic soft sheath is elastically deformed by the external force, the elastic soft sheath electrically connects the first and second grounding paths, enabling the sensing member to function.
Footswitch for a medical instrument
A footswitch for a medical instrument, with a housing, and with an elastically deformable suction cup arranged in the housing, where a negative pressure is generated in the suction cup by means of an evacuation device in order to secure the housing to a floor surface. In order to create a footswitch which is suitable for a medical instrument and which, while having a simple design and being easy to handle, ensures that the footswitch is secured in a fixed position on a floor surface. The suction cup is elastically extensible via the evacuation device in order to generate the negative pressure by enlargement of the volume enclosed by the suction cup.

METHODS AND DEVICES FOR INFORMATION ACQUISITION, DETECTION, AND APPLICATION OF FOOT GESTURES
The present disclosure provides a method, including acquiring information related to foot gesture features, and sending the acquired information related to the foot gesture features to an electronic device for a foot gesture detection. The foot gesture features include foot pointing direction(s), foot touch state(s), foot tilt angle(s), and foot movement levels. A button pad device that can be placed in shoe sole or insole for effective foot touch state detection is also disclosed. The disclosure also provides a method for cursor control using foot touch state, foot pointing angle, foot tilt angle from a foot gesture feature information acquisition device.
Illuminated protective covering for foot pedals
A system and method of illuminating a foot pedal with an illuminated protective covering. The illuminated protective covering can include a plurality of illuminating devices surrounding at least a majority of a perimeter of the foot pedal. The illuminated protective covering can also include a sheet surrounding the upper surface and the lower surface of the foot pedal and the plurality of illuminating devices, the sheet being configured to protect the foot pedal from debris during use. A friction portion can be attached to the sheet, the friction portion being positioned on the sheet such that the friction portion is adjacent the bottom surface of the foot pedal when the sheet surrounds the foot pedal, the friction portion being configured to prevent sliding of the foot pedal against the floor or other surface.
Multi-functional foot pedal assembly for controlling a robotic surgical system
A foot pedal assembly for controlling a robotic surgical system includes a foot pedal assembly base including an axle, a foot pedal slidably and pivotally coupled to the axle, and a sensor arrangement configured to detect an axial position of the foot pedal along the axle and a pivoted position of the foot pedal around the axle. Different combinations of different detected axial positions and detected pivoted positions are correlateable to different functions of the robotic surgical system.
Touch sensor unit
The disclosure provides a touch sensor unit. A conductive component is arranged between a pair of electrodes which are arranged inside an insulating tube, and the conductive component includes: a body section, which extends in a longitudinal direction of the insulating tube; and a convex section, which is arranged on an outer circumference of the body section, extends along the longitudinal direction of the body section, and sinks into the pair of electrodes. Short circuit or non-short circuit and so on of the electrodes can be detected by detecting the resistance value of the conductive component. Merely by inserting the conductive component into one end in the longitudinal direction of the electrodes, the pair of electrodes are electrically connected, and only the convex section sinks into the pair of electrodes, therefore the insertion load of the conductive component can be reduced, and the terminal treatment can be simplified.
CORD SWITCH
A cord switch is composed of a hollow tubular member having elasticity and insulating properties, and a plurality of electrode wires disposed opposite an inner side of the tubular member and spaced apart by elastic force of the tubular member. The plurality of electrode wires each include a conductor formed by stranding a plurality of metal wires together. All of the metal wires constituting the conductors are helically stranded together.
