SMART BUS PLUG REMOTE ACTUATION, MONITORING, AND CONTROL
A power distribution system includes a bus plug having an electrical switch configured to selectively control energization of the bus plug. The bus plug includes an electrical switch having a control knob operable to selectively control energization of the bus plug, and an actuator having an actuator adaptor coupling that couples movement of the actuator to the control knob. The bus plug includes a partition wall separating the internal volume into a line side and a load side. The bus plug includes an external handle coupled to mechanical linkages, and an adaptor bracket fixed to at least one of the mechanical linkages and oriented to interact with the control knob. The bus plug includes an actuator operable to move the mechanical linkages. Methods of controlling energization of a bus plug with a remote application and communication module configured to operate an actuator are also provided.

Lock-off assembly for use in locking-off a trigger of an electrical device
A trigger assembly for an electrical device that includes a main body having a housing within which an electrical switch unit is disposed. The trigger assembly may include a trigger member having an engagement portion that is hingedly connected to the main body so that the trigger member is rotatable about a hinge relative to the main body. The trigger assembly may include an actuator member operably-connected to the trigger member that is movable between an OFF position and an ON position. The trigger assembly may include a lock-off mechanism including a lock-off member that is selectively operable to restrict movement of the trigger member towards the main body and to thereby restrict movement of the actuator member from the OFF position into the ON position, and, to not restrict movement of the trigger member toward the main body.
Trigger activated tools having activation lockouts
Trigger activated tools are provided that have one or more activation lockouts. The activation lockouts include electrical resets, variable position lockouts, mechanical lockouts, shield lockouts, and any combinations thereof.

PUSH-BUTTON SWITCH
A push-button switch may include a housing, an operation unit, a lock lever unit, a transmission mechanism, a movement regulating portion, a contact mechanism, and a first biasing portion. The movement regulating portion enables movement of a lever body to a second position when an end of the operation unit on a housing portion side is positioned at an initial position, and disables movement of the lever body to the second position when the end of the operation unit on the housing portion side is positioned closer to an operation surface than the initial position in a movable direction. The first biasing portion biases the plunger from an operating position toward a return position.

Assembly Comprising a Normally-Open Electrical Switch and a Control Blade for Controlling Its Change of State Which Keeps It Closed at Rest
An assembly includes an electrical switch and an elastically deformable control blade for controlling change of state of its trip member. The control blade comprises: (i) a fixing branch; (ii) an actuation branch which, in the absence of application of an actuation effort, stresses the trip member in the direction of closure of the electrical switch, and (iii) a control branch which can pivot about an axis to provoke tilting of the actuation branch against its elasticity to keep the electrical switch in an open free state. The assembly may include a locking device for locking the control blade in an initial position of delivery of the assembly. The unlocking of the control blade may be provoked automatically upon a first application of an actuation effort on the control blade.

KNOB ASSEMBLY
A knob assembly includes a first housing with a sidewall extending from a base and a retention member inwardly extends from the sidewall. An operable second housing includes a selective stopper selectively movable between a first position and a second position relative to the retention member. The operable second housing is further axially operable between a compressed position and an extended position relative to the first housing, and the operable second housing includes a biasing member.
