Input devices with adjustable click force
According to various embodiments, an input device may be provided. The input device may include: a housing having an upper portion and a lower portion; a key top provided at the upper portion; a lever member coupled to the lower portion via a joint; a plunger; and a switch including a depressible portion coupleable to the key top via the lever member and the plunger; wherein the plunger is coupleable to the lever member at a distance from the joint which is different from a distance from the joint at which the depressible portion is coupleable to the lever member.
ADJUSTABLE FORCE TACTILE SWITCH
Methods, systems, apparatuses, and computer program products are provided for a user input device, such as a game controller, that includes a finger-pressable (tactile) switch. The switch is adjustable to change the amount of force used to actuate the switch. In an example implementation, a tactile switch comprises a housing, a button interposer, a dome switch, and an adjustment mechanism. A user or other entity may press the button interposer. The dome switch is contained in the housing, and is actuated by the button interposer being pressed. The adjustment mechanism is contained at least partially in the housing, and is configured to enable an amount of force used to press the button interposer to actuate the dome switch to be adjusted.
Switch with customized circuit board electrical contact pad placement using selectively mounted electrical contactors
A modular auxiliary switch includes a housing including a first housing part and a separate second housing part secured to the first housing part. A printed circuit board is housed in one of the first and second housing parts, and has a first side facing the first housing part and a second opposite side facing the second housing part. An actuator mechanism is housed in the first housing part and is coupled to the printed circuit board. A separate first electrical contactor is selectively mounted to the printed circuit board so that a first electrical contact surface of the first electrical contactor overlaps and is in direct contact with one of the first side and the second side to define a first electrical contact pad on the printed circuit board.
Emergency stop apparatus and method
Provided are an emergency stop apparatus including a switch unit installed in a work space, electrically connected to a facility, and operable by pulling and a wire which is disposed in the work space so that tension is applied and of which at least one side is detachably mounted on the switch unit and an emergency stop method for quickly stopping the facility at a desired position within the work space in a manner of pulling or pushing the wire.
ADJUSTABLE KEYBOARD
An adjustable keyboard includes a driving element, a first plate, a second plate and a plurality of keys. The second plate is disposed between the first plate and the keys, wherein the second plate has a plurality of key openings and the keys are respectively aligned with the key openings. The driving element is configured to drive the first plate to move, and thus a plurality of first guide portions on the first plate respectively push a plurality of second guide portions on the second plate so as to move the second plate and adjust the distance between each of the keys and the corresponding key opening.
Switching device comprising a vacuum tube
Disclosed is a switching device comprising a vacuum tube and an adjustable drive for opening and closing the contacts of the switching device. The switching device also comprises a sensor for detecting physical properties of the operating site of the switching device. The detected physical property adapts the adjustable drive for opening and closing the contacts to the operating site.
OFFSET OPERATOR MECHANISM FOR CONTROL ENCLSOURE
An operator mechanism comprises a mechanical user interface and a contact assembly. The mechanical user interface is configured to be physically moved by a user. The contact assembly is coupled to the mechanical user interface such that movement of the mechanical user interface imparts movement to the contact assembly. The contact assembly includes a shaft having a longitudinal axis extending distally outward relative to the mechanical user interface to a distal end of the shaft. The contact assembly also includes a contact member coupled to and extending radially outward from the shaft. The contact member engages an actuator of a control device in the control enclosure when the contact assembly is moved. The contact member is selectively positionable longitudinally along the shaft and defines a shaft opening the shaft extends through such that the distal end of the shaft is distal of the shaft opening.
DRIVE ROD AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A DRIVE ROD
The invention relates to a drive rod for driving a movable contact element of a high-voltage switching device, wherein said drive rod comprises a first section for connecting said drive rod to a drive mechanism, a second section for connecting said drive rod to said movable contact element, and an intermediate section between said first section and said second section, characterized in that said intermediate section comprises coupling means for rotatably coupling said first section to said second section.
Methods and techniques for protection of microgrid energy management system with distributed storage
A microgrid energy management system can include: a bus providing a power; a transmission line connected to the bus; a relay connected to the transmission line, sensing a microgrid according to a state of the transmission line, adjusting a relay setting, and generating a trip signal representing the relay setting; and a circuit breaker receiving the trip signal. In addition, the microgrid energy management system further includes an energy storage device connected to the bus.
