Each of the first moveable contact and the second movable contact are selectably connectable with each of the fixed contacts.
ON-LOAD TAP CHANGER
An on-load tap changer of a resistor type includes a selector base plate; a selector mounted on the selector base plate; a diverter switch base plate; a diverter switch mounted on the diverter switch base plate and having a transition resistor; and a common drive shaft which is configured to actuate the selector and the diverter switch.
Electrical switching system for a three-phase network
An electrical system (1) for a three-phase alternating current network, comprising a transformer (20U, 20V, 20W) with a primary side (30U, 30V, 30W) and a secondary side for each phase (U, V, W) of the alternating current network; a separate transformer housing (60U, 60V, 60W) for each transformer (20U . . . W); and a switching assembly (100) connected to the transformers (20U . . . W); wherein the primary side (30U . . . W) and/or the secondary side has a main winding (21, 22, 23) and a regulating winding (31, 32, 33) in each phase; the switching assembly (100) is designed such that it can connect each regulating winding (31, 32, 33) with each of the main windings (21, 22, 23); and the switching assembly (100) is arranged in one of the transformer housings (60U . . . W) or in an own switch housing (70).
High-voltage switch for series/parallel applications and tap changer applications
A switch includes an insulating base having an upper surface and an assembly having a mounting surface. The assembly configured to be arranged on the insulating base, the assembly having a lower surface, the assembly being configured to be arranged on the upper surface of the insulating base with an open space between the lower surface of the assembly and the upper surface of the insulating base. The switch further includes a plurality of fixed contact units mounted in an aligned arrangement on the mounting surface of the assembly and a movable contactor mounted to move within the bore of the insulating body and the electrical contacts of the plurality of fixed contact units.
LOAD CHANGEOVER SWITCH FOR AN ON-LOAD TAP CHANGER AND A METHOD FOR PRODUCING A LOAD CHANGEOVER SWITCH
A diverter switch, which is for an on-load tap-changer, includes a housing; and a carrier. The carrier has elements configured to carry out a diverter switch operation. The carrier and the elements are at least partly encapsulated in the housing.
Switch and winding switching device
High reliability and long life are achieved by being sliding-less. The switch according to the present invention includes: first terminal and a second terminal that are adjacently attached to a stator; a movable shaft movable in a first direction and a second direction, a plurality of movers attached to the movable shaft; and a movable segment that is connected to two of the plurality of movers and biases the two movers in a direction in which they are away from each other. The switch is capable of switching among: a first mode in which when the movers move in the first direction, the mover is pushed by the stator to deform the movable segment so as to protrude toward the terminal, and the movable segment comes into contact with the first terminal; an intermediate mode in which deformation of the movable segment by the movers is released, and the movable segment is in contact with neither the first terminal nor the second terminal; and a second mode in which when the movers move in the second direction, the mover is pushed by the stator to deform the movable segment so as to protrude toward the terminal, and the movable segment comes into contact with the second terminal.
Dry transformer load switch
A dry transformer load switch, and transformer having such switch, has a hollow insulation cylinder extending longitudinally about a virtual center axis and has a plurality of connection contacts arranged along the inner circumference thereof, and a radially oriented main contact arranged in the interior of the hollow insulation cylinder so as to be rotatable about the center axis and which, with a corresponding rotary movement, can be optionally electrically connected by the radially outer end thereof to one of the connection contacts. In a hollow-cylindrical space about the center axis that is defined by the radially inner and outer end of the main contact, there is a barrier shield, which can be rotated together with the main contact about the axis.
On-load tap changer
A load selector has a load changeover switch insert with a switching tube rotatable about an axis, at least one switching segment fastened to the switching tube, and at least two vacuum interrupters in the at least one switching segment. Each vacuum interrupter has a switching tube having a respective axially movable contact that cooperates at its free end with an actuating lever. The vacuum interrupters are so arranged in alternation in opposite sense that the movable contacts of the at least two vacuum interrupters are movable with respect to the axis alternately in opposite directions.
TEMPERATURE INDICATOR FOR ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT
A system for determining when an electrical contact or other component reaches a predetermined temperature. In operation, a trace material is dispersed into a surrounding environment (e.g., head space within a compartment above insulating oil), where the trace material is detected. A barrier may be ruptured or broken by temperature-induced gas pressure, or pierced by a spring-loaded member that is located within the same section that contains the trace material, and devices may be provided for moving the trace material through the foil barrier as the barrier is ruptured. The barrier may be opened solely by internal gas pressure. According to another embodiment, improved fail-safe operation may be achieved by providing a spring-loaded member and configuring the barrier to be ruptured by the pressure of the detectable gas material before the barrier is ruptured by the spring-loaded member.
