A trigger arrangement for a scanning system can include a sealed housing configured to support a scanning device, a trigger, and an actuation device configured to control functionality of the scanning device. A first magnet can be positioned outside of the sealed housing and can be configured to be selectively moved by the trigger. A second magnet configured to be repelled by the first magnet can be positioned inside of the sealed housing. A connecting member that supports the second magnet can be configured to transfer force from the second magnet to the actuation device. Some configurations can provide tactile feedback to a user when the trigger is used.

Each control (5, 9, 20) is associated with one or more contact units (22) having movable electrical contacts arranged in the protection box (2). The emergency push button (9) is housed in a seat (8) formed on a side face (7) of the side wall (3) perpendicular to the development plane (π) and is anchored to one or more contact units (22) removably housed in the protection box (2).

An electrical switch unit for use in controlling operation of an electrical device, the electrical switch unit including: an electrical switch unit housing for housing at least a pair of electrical switching contacts of the electrical switch unit, said electrical switch unit housing including a first housing member and a second housing member that are configured for attachment together at peripheral regions of the first and second housing members so as to cooperatively form an enclosed space for housing the pair of electrical switching contacts therein; an actuator member operably-connected with at least one of the pair of electrical switching contacts, the actuator being configured for movement relative inwardly and outwardly of an opening in the electrical switch unit housing so as to arrange the pair of electrical switching contacts into at least one of a closed configuration wherein power is able to be supplied from a power source to motor or other electrically-operable element of the electrical device via the pair of electrical switching contacts, and, an opened configuration wherein power is not able to be supplied from the power source to the motor or other electrically-operable element of the electrical device via the pair of electrical switching contacts; and an sealing element including an elastically-resilient polymeric material, said sealing element being configured for location between the first and second housing members and extending about the peripheral regions of the attached first and second housing members so as to occlude passage and ingress of particulates and water into the electrical switch unit housing.

Single hand controller

A single hand controller including a front surface and a back surface, with a first and second side surface there between and an upper surface and bottom surface. The upper surface includes a joystick, and the front surface has a proportional plunger and one or more switches. The controller is grasped by placing a user's finger tips on the front surface, with user's index finger operating the proportional plunger and remaining fingers operating the switches. The thenar eminence group of muscles of the user's hand rests against the back surface, whereby the user's thumb is disposed so as to operate the joystick.

The trigger mechanism comprises a trigger body having a plurality of walls defining an internal chamber. The plurality of walls include a base wall and an orifice defined in the base wall. A detent is detachably mounted on the trigger body. The detent is at least partially received in the orifice and the detent is rotatable with respect to the trigger body. The detent comprises at least one abutment surface which is eccentrically arranged with respect to the rotational axis of the detent.

BRUSHLESS DC MOTOR CONTROL UNIT

An electrical switch unit for use with a variable speed electrical device includes a housing for a pair of electrical switching contacts, and an actuator operably connected with one of those contacts. A signaling module is associated with the electrical switch unit, and has signaling circuitry for sensing the movement of the actuator and outputting a signaling module signal indicative of the sensed movement or position of the actuator. A power module with a power switching device controllably supplies power from the DC power source to the DC motor at a speed corresponding to the sensed movement or position of the actuator. A control module receives the signaling module signal, and outputs a control module signal to control the power module.

Mounting means (90, 92) are arranged to mount the housing in the tool or instrument for rotation about an axis of rotation.

An electrical switch unit for use with an electrical device to control operation of a DC motor of the electrical device, the electrical switch unit comprising: a housing which houses a pair of electrical switching contacts, and, an actuator operably connected with at least one of the pair of electrical switching contacts, the actuator being configured for movement relative to the pair of electrical switching contacts so as to arrange the pair of electrical switching contacts into at least one of a closed configuration wherein power is able to be supplied from the DC power source to the DC motor via the pair of electrical switching contacts, and, an opened configuration wherein power is not able to be supplied from the DC power source to the DC motor via the pair of electrical switching contacts; a signaling module associated with the electrical switch unit comprising signaling circuitry for sensing the movement of the actuator and outputting a signaling module signal indicative of the sensed movement or position of the actuator; a power module comprising at least one power switching device for controllably supplying power from the DC power source to the DC motor; a control module comprising control circuitry for receiving the signaling module signal, and responsive to the received signaling module signal, outputting a control module signal to control the at least one power switching transistor device of the power module wherein the at least one power switching device controllably supplies power from the DC power source to the DC motor to allow operation of the DC motor at a speed corresponding to the sensed movement or position of the actuator; and wherein, the signaling module is integrally connected to a first end of the control module that is located within the electrical switch unit housing to allow relatively direct electrical communication between the pair of electrical switching contacts and the control module, and, whereby the control module is configured to extend outwardly of the electrical switch housing so as to terminate at a distal second end.
