Surgical instruments comprising button circuits
A surgical instrument is disclosed comprising an actuator and circuitry mounted on and/or embedded in the actuator.
SMART SPEAKER WITH SENSING THROUGH THE SPEAKER GRILLE
A smart speaker is disclosed with an interactive speaker grille. In one embodiment a smart speaker comprises a housing with a speaker grille comprising a plurality of openings. Circuitry coupled to the speaker grille is configured to sense direct user interaction with one or more of a plurality of regions of the speaker grille and to generate corresponding electrical signals indicative of the one or more regions of the speaker grille experiencing direct user interaction. The circuitry can include portions in the path of sound transmission to detect user interaction with regions of the grille and portions outside the path of sound transmission for controlling aspects of the smart speaker (e.g. speaker volume, radio station or media stream selection) based on the particular regions touched.
Compact switch
A compact switch mechanism operating a contactor array and having a lighted display.
Switch assembly structure and display device
This disclosure provides a switch assembly structure and a display device. The switch assembly structure comprises: a switch assembly (100); an assembly housing (400) provided with a first groove (410); a first clamping member (500) provided with a second groove (510), wherein the first clamping member (500) has a first state of being securely connected with the assembly housing (400) and a second state of being separate from the assembly housing (400); wherein, in the second state, the switch assembly (100) is able to mate with the first groove (410) or the second groove (510); and in the first state, the first groove (410) and the second groove (510) combine to form a switch mounting hole (10), and the switch assembly (100) is secured in the switch mounting hole (10) by a securable connection of the first clamping member (500) with the assembly housing (400).
ELECTRICAL SWITCH BOX WITH BOLT HOUSING
A housing for accommodating an electrical device is provided. A bolt for holding a bus bar electrically connected to the electrical device includes a threaded shaft and a base. The housing includes a first housing configured to hold the electrical device and a bolt housing. The bolt housing includes an upper wall having a U-shaped slot. A resilient tab is disposed on a bottom wall and beneath the U-shaped slot. A pair of slits are disposed on each side of the resilient tab, wherein the threaded shaft is dimensioned to be seated within the U-shaped slot, and wherein the resilient tab presses the base against an undersurface of the upper wall so as to hold the bolt in an upright position relative to the upper wall.
ANYWHERE WIRELESS SWITCH AND/OR DIMMER
An electrical device such as, for example, a battery-powered electrical switch is disclosed. The battery-powered wireless switch includes one or more mechanisms arranged and configured to provide simplified access for servicing (e.g., replacing) the batteries located within the wireless switch. In one embodiment, the wireless switch is arranged and configured so that the batteries may be accessed by reconfiguring the wireless switch from a first closed position to a second opened position to access the batteries. Thus arranged, removal of the wireless switch from a wall-box or a surface of a wall is not required, the user may only need to remove the wall-plate in order to reconfigure the wireless switch. In one embodiment, at least a portion of the wireless switch is pivoted from the first position to the second position to provide access to the batteries.
SWITCHING APPARATUS WITH ELECTRICALLY ISOLATED USER INTERFACE
An apparatus includes: a high-voltage module including: a current interrupter; an actuation system coupled to the current interrupter; a sensor system; and a terminal configured to electrically connect to an external electrical device. The apparatus also includes: a user interface; and an electrically insulating assembly between the user interface and the high-voltage module. In operational use, the user interface is grounded and the high-voltage module is at a system voltage.
WIRELESS BATTERY-POWERED SWITCH
An apparatus for a wireless switch. In some embodiments, the wireless switch includes a button, a battery, a radio, a memory, and an electronic processor. The electronic processor may be configured to operate the wireless switch in a wireless mesh network communication mode; and in response to a user input from the button, reboot the wireless switch; operate the wireless switch in a Bluetooth operating mode; receive a switch configuration; store the switch configuration in the memory; reboot the wireless switch a second time, and operate the switch in the wireless mesh network communication mode.
Active cover plates
A variety of active cover plate configurations with prongs configured to contact side screw terminals of electrical receptacles are described. In one illustrative embodiment, an active cover plate includes a multi-gang face plate configured to be installed over a multi-gang light switch installation, the multi-gang faceplate including at least two apertures sized to accept a manually manipulatable element of switches in the multi-gang light switch installation. Prongs extend rearward from the multi-gang faceplate around at least one of the apertures.
TRIGGER SWITCH
A trigger switch includes a housing including a casing; a trigger coupled to the housing to be capable of approaching and separating from the housing; a contact mechanism including a fixed contact and a movable contact making contact with and separating from the fixed contact in conjunction with approaching and separating operation of the trigger with respect to the housing; a first terminal electrically connected to the contact mechanism; and a second terminal electrically connected to the contact mechanism. The first terminal includes a first fixing portion that connects and fixes the first lead, and a fall-off prevention portion that locks the first lead at a position different from the first fixing portion in an axial direction of the first lead to prevent the axial component from falling off. The second terminal includes a second fixing portion that connects and fixes the second lead.
