A light device control apparatus is designed to pair with a traditional switch device that has a traditional switch for accepting a first user manual operation to control a target device connected to the traditional switch device with an electrical wire. The traditional switch device has a connecting structure. The light device control apparatus has an attaching device, a cover body, a replacement switch and a wireless controller. The attaching device is attached to the connecting structure of the traditional switch device. The wireless controller wirelessly controls the target device. The replacement switch and the wireless component are not overlapped to each other vertically with respect to the surface cover of the traditional switch device.

STERILE FIELD INTERACTIVE CONTROL DISPLAYS

An interactive control unit is disclosed. The interactive control unit includes an interactive touchscreen display, an interface configured to couple the control unit to a surgical hub, a processor, and a memory coupled to the processor. The memory stores instructions executable by the processor to receive input commands from the interactive touchscreen display located inside a sterile field and transmit the input commands to the surgical hub to control devices coupled to the surgical hub located outside the sterile field.

Intelligent lighting control system air gap apparatuses, systems, and methods

The present disclosure provides an intelligent lighting control system. The lighting control system includes a base module including a base housing forming a well and including a first electrical connector positioned in the well. A depressible switch is housed in the well that includes a spring biasing the depressible switch into an extended position that opens an electrical circuit between the power terminal and the first electrical connector. The lighting control system also includes a light switch module configured for nesting, at least in part, in the well of the base module. The light switch module includes a module housing configured to press the depressible switch into a retracted position upon nesting in the well and thereby close the electrical circuit between the power terminal and the first electrical connector and release the depressible switch into the extended position when unnested from the well of the base module.

A remote three-way switch. The remote three-way switch includes an actuator configured to actuate a mechanical switch, such as a light switch, according to a signal received from a remote control in wireless communication with the actuator. The signal received directs the actuator to mechanically actuate the switch from an on position to an off position, or from the off position to the on position. The remote three-way switch is portable, easy to install and uninstall, and is configured to assist an individual with operating the switch from a distance. The remote three-way switch may also be configured to be permanently installed into a wall, such that it appears like an ordinary light switch after installation.

Power cable for light string and power supply device

A power cable for a light string includes two wires, a body and a switching circuit. The two wires extend from a first end to a second end. The body is disposed on the two wires. The switching circuit includes a normally open contact switch and a voltage dividing resistor. The normally open contact switch is connected in series with the voltage dividing resistor and is electrically connected to two wires. The normally open contact switch and the voltage dividing resistor are disposed in the body, and the normally open contact switch is at least partially exposed on the surface of the body. The normally open contact switch is configured to be repeatedly pressed, so that the voltage division state between the two wires changes to form a trigger signal combination.

SOLID STATE CIRCUIT INTERRUPTER WITH INTERLOCK

A solid state circuit interrupter provides structures which can manually move an isolation switch of a pole from the ON state to the OFF state without the use of auxiliary power but that advantageously additionally provides an interlock apparatus that avoids manually moving the isolation switch from the ON state to the OFF state until certain conditions exist. One such condition is to ensure that some action is taken, such as by switching a physical interlock between one state and another state. Such a change in state of the physical interlock might additionally result in a change in state of an electronic interlock that would resist the solid state switch being moved to its ON state while the isolation switch is capable of being manually switched to its OFF state. The physical interlock might additionally resist the isolation switch from being manually switched into its ON state.

Switch and method of manufacturing switch

A switch includes a housing, a switching mechanism housed in the housing and configured to switch a state of connection between at least two terminals exposed out of the housing by using a common contact and two switching contacts, and an electronic component that is disposed in the housing and electrically connects the terminals to each other. The switching mechanism includes a first metal plate that is connected to a first contact, which is one of the common contact and the two switching contacts, and includes a first exposed part to which a first electrode of the electronic component is soldered by laser irradiation, and a second metal plate that is connected to a second contact, which is another one of the common contact and the two switching contacts, and includes a second exposed part to which a second electrode of the electronic component is soldered by laser irradiation.

Base for a retrofit remote control device

A remote control device may control electrical loads and/or load control devices of a load control system without accessing electrical wiring. The remote control device may include a control unit and a base that may be configured to be mounted over a paddle actuator of an installed mechanical switch. The base may include a frame, a biasing member, and/or a ribbon portion. The frame may be configured to secure the remote control device thereto. The frame may define a rear surface that is configured to abut a bezel of the mechanical switch. The biasing member may be configured to engage a rear surface of a faceplate of the mechanical switch. The ribbon portion may be configured to attach the biasing member to the frame. The ribbon portion may be configured to extend through a gap between the bezel and the faceplate.
