SWITCHGEAR WITH A MODULAR OPTICAL MONITORING SYSTEM
A switchgear includes a modular optical monitoring system for examining switchgear switching positions and at least one isolating switch accommodated in an encapsulated housing. The encapsulated housing is disposed in an installation housing. The encapsulated housing has a first transparent window in one region and a fiber-optic system leads from an outer side of the installation housing to the first transparent window.
SWITCHGEAR WITH AN OPTICAL MONITORING SYSTEM
A switchgear includes an optical monitoring system for examining switchgear switching positions. At least one isolating switch is accommodated in an encapsulated housing. The encapsulated housing is disposed in an installation housing. The encapsulated housing has a first transparent window in one region. A fiber-optic system leads from an outer side of the installation housing to the first transparent window.
Illuminated viewing systems for enclosures
An enclosure disposed in an ambient environment can include at least one wall that forms a cavity. The enclosure can also include at least one electrical device disposed within the cavity. The enclosure can further include at least one illuminated viewing system disposed in the at least one wall. The at least one illuminated viewing system can include a window disposed in the at least one wall. The at least one illuminated viewing system can also include at least one light source assembly that directs light within the cavity in which the at least one electrical device is disposed.
Illuminated visible break
An assembly for use in an electrical power distribution system includes a housing that includes an interior space; an electrical apparatus in the interior space, the electrical apparatus including an electrical connection mechanism that is configured to move between at least two positions; an observation port through the housing, the observation port being configured to allow visual observation of the electrical connection mechanism in the interior space from an exterior of the housing; and an optical guide between the interior space and a light source. The light source is outside of the interior space and the optical guide is configured to deliver light from the light source to the interior space when the light source emits light.
ELECTRICAL SWITCH
The electrical switch includes a first and a second fixed contact, and a rotatable knife contact including at least one pair of blades being flexibly connected to each other and rotating around a rotational axis. A third fixed contact is positioned on an opposite side of the rotational axis in relation to the adjacent first and second fixed contact and a middle portion of the rotatable knife contact is electrically connected to the third fixed contact. The rotatable knife contact connects in a first switching position the first fixed contact and in a second switching position the second fixed contact to the third fixed contact.
Protective/control receptacle
A remote control arrangement has a protective/control receptacle and a mobile radio device for use as a remote control. The protective/control receptacle forms a closed peripheral cover on which a corner protector for holding corners of the mobile radio device is provided and has a receptacle-side control for controlling a device-side control on the mobile radio device. The receptacle-side control is operable from the outside. The receptacle-side control is haptically perceivable on the outer face of the cover and is used to control a virtual device-side control.
Bridge joint cover assembly
A bridge joint cover assembly for a busway bridge joint, the assembly comprising a bridge joint cover plate having a cover plate hole, a viewing plate fixed to the cover plate, over the cover plate hole, and the viewing plate including infrared (IR) material. The IR material is further aligned with the cover plate hole in the bridge joint cover plate.
Switchgear
A switchgear according to the present invention includes a disconnecting unit that includes multiple switches to switch electrical paths by rotation of blades, and a switch housing having a view port, and including the switches arranged therein, wherein planes of rotation of the blades and an arrangement direction of the switches intersect, and the switches are arranged rearward from the view port.
Network protector fuse
A network protector fuse is disclosed. A fuse is coupled to a fuse cover of the network protector fuse utilizing fasteners. Further, at least one captive fastener is inserted into the fuse cover and configured to couple the network protector fuse to a network protector. The at least one captive fastener is restricted from dislodging from the fuse cover.
Material removal from inner surface to preserve perception of outer surface aesthetics
A veneer for a wall-mounted keypad may include indicia that are laser cut therethrough and that are representative of functions that may be performed by the keypad. The veneer may include a recess that extends into an inner surface of the veneer, proximate to the indicia. The recess may be shaped such that a perceived aesthetic of an outer surface of the veneer is preserved during formation of the indicia. The recess may for example have an organic shape defined by a curved outer perimeter that does not define any corners.
