Switching device with improved epoxy hermetic seal
Electrical switching devices, such contactor and fuse devices, are disclosed that have improved reliability particularly through thermal cycling. One electrical switching device according to the present invention comprises an outer housing and internal operational components within the outer housing. An internal housing in included in that outer housing that surrounds at least some of the internal operational components. A sealing material is also included within the outer housing that is capable of forming a hermetic seal within the outer housing, wherein the sealing material contacts the internal housing. The internal housing has a CTE that substantially matches the CTE of the sealing material. Electrical system according to the present invention comprises an electrical circuit and an improved electrical switching device electrically connected to the electrical circuit to reliably open or close the circuit.
Switching device with improved epoxy hermetic seal
Electrical switching devices, such contactor and fuse devices, are disclosed that have improved reliability particularly through thermal cycling. One electrical switching device according to the present invention comprises an outer housing and internal operational components within the outer housing. An internal housing in included in that outer housing that surrounds at least some of the internal operational components. A sealing material is also included within the outer housing that is capable of forming a hermetic seal within the outer housing, wherein the sealing material contacts the internal housing. The internal housing has a CTE that substantially matches the CTE of the sealing material. Electrical system according to the present invention comprises an electrical circuit and an improved electrical switching device electrically connected to the electrical circuit to reliably open or close the circuit.
Light structure for an electronic device
A light structure for an electronic device includes a first portion permitting user access to a button of the device; and a second portion surrounding the first portion, wherein the second portion permits light from a light source to pass through. The light passing through the second portion varies according to a condition of the electronic device.
Autoclavable medical device and actuation means for an autoclavable medical device
An autoclavable medical device is provided that includes a metal housing having an electrical conductor embedded in an inorganic fixing material. The conductor and fixing material define an electrical feedthrough that extends from an interior of the housing through at least a portion of the fixing material. The electrical feedthrough forms part of a sensor of an actuation means for the autoclavable medical device.

A remote control with a waterproof function, according to an embodiment of the present invention, includes a case including an upper case having a plurality of button holes and a lower case assembled to the upper case at a lower portion of the upper case, a printed circuit board PCB embedded between the upper case and the lower case, and a rubber keypad, which is embedded between the upper case and the lower case so as to mounted to surround the side portions of the PCB and has a plurality of buttons that pass through the plurality of button holes and barrier parts that come into close contact with the inner surface of the upper case and the inner surface of the lower case, where the upper case and the lower case come into contact with each other.

A high speed closing switch includes a case having an interior which is hermetically closed, a ground electrode installed within the case, a high voltage electrode spaced apart from the ground electrode by a predetermined interval, a movable electrode configured to move from a first position in which the ground electrode and the high voltage electrode are not connected to a second position in which the ground electrode and the high voltage electrode are connected, a coil configured to generate electromagnetic force to cause the movable electrode to be moved from the first position to the second position, a returning rod having one end fixedly connected to the movable electrode and the other end protruding to outside of the case, and a driving device configured to drive the returning rod such that the movable electrode is moved from the second position to the first position.
