Switch-Fuse Module
A switch-fuse module and a ring main unit. The switch-fuse module includes: at least one fuse; and at least one fuse canister having the fuse inside; the security device including: at least one slider configured to linearly move between an open slider position and a closed slider position; at least one earthing switch that i) is galvanically connected to an end of the fuse, ii) is operable between an open and a closed state, iii) is designed to earth the end of the fuse in the closed state, and iv) is coupled to the slider in such a manner that the open slider position effects the open state of the earthing switch and the closed slider position effects the closed state of the earthing switch; an energy-storing propulsion element configured to move the earthing switch from the open to the closed state when discharging; and a locking mechanism adapted for blocking access to the fuse in a locked state and for releasing access to the fuse in an unlocked state, wherein the slider is coupled to the locking mechanism in such a manner that the slider is in the closed slider position while the locking mechanism is in the unlocked state, so that the fuse may only be accessed if it is ensured that the fuse is earthed.
Fusible switching disconnect modules and devices with tripping coil
A fusible switch disconnect device includes a housing adapted to receive at least one fuse therein, and a switchable contact for connecting the fuse to circuitry. A tripping mechanism and control circuitry are provided to move the switchable contact to an open position in response to a predetermined electrical condition.
FUSE SWITCH MODULE
The invention refers to a fuse switch module (1) that comprises a casing (2) having an aperture (3) and a cover (4) for closing and opening the aperture (3), and a rotatable fuse cartridge (11) for receiving a fuse (8). The fuse cartridge (11) is rotatable between a switch module closed position in which a fuse (8) is connected with fixed contacts (5,6) to enable current circulation, and a switch module open position in which current circulation through the fixed contacts (5,6) is impeded. The cover (4) and the fuse cartridge (11) are engaged when the cover (4) is closing the aperture (3) and when the fuse cartridge (11) is in the switch closed position, thus, the cover (4) is locked by the fuse cartridge (11) and opening of the cover (4) is impeded while current is circulating through the switch module.
SWITCHES WITH INTEGRAL OVERCURRENT PROTECTION COMPONENTS
Switches with integrated overcurrent protection elements are described. The overcurrent protection elements can include a bimetallic structure which is configured to move between a first shape and a second shape in response to heating. The overcurrent protection element can be rotationally coupled to a rotary knob in some embodiments. In other embodiments, the overcurrent protection element can be fixed, and the rotary knob can be connected to one or more rotatable conductive structures within the rotary switch.
Fuse switch module
The invention refers to a low-cost fuse switch module that comprises a pair of fixed contacts and a rotary contact rotatable about a rotation axis located in-between the fixed contacts. The rotary contact is rotatable between a closed position in which it is connected with the fixed contacts to enable current circulation, and an open position in which the rotary contact is electrically isolated from the pair of fixed contacts. An overcurrent protection fuse is provided for limiting maximum current circulation through the contacts in the closed position, and the fuse is rotatable about the axis and it is arranged to operate as the rotary contact of the switch, such as by rotating the fuse about the rotation axis, the switch reciprocally transit from the closed to the open position.
Trigger switch
A trigger switch has a switch housing fixed inside a tool housing of an electric power tool and internally having a holder, an operation unit provided outside the switch housing and connected to the switch housing so as to be approachable to and separable from the switch housing, a fixed contact provided in the holder, and a movable contact provided so as to face the fixed contact in the holder and configured to come into contact with and separate from the fixed contact in conjunction with an approaching motion and a separating motion of the operation unit with respect to the switch housing. A vibration damping elastic body is provided integrally on an outer surface of the switch housing.
FUSE LINK SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A fuse link includes a conductive terminal component having a cylindrical insertion region with a knurled region formed therein and a fusible element electrically coupled thereto. A tubular sheath is configured to form a press-fit connection with the knurled region such that the tubular sheath substantially encloses the fusible element. The inner radius, the wall thickness, and the length of the tubular sheath are together configured to remain substantially intact when the fusible link experiences a first overload event within a first range of fault current values and burst when the fusible link experiences an overload event within a second range of fault current values that is greater than the first range.
SINGLE PHASE UNDERGROUND FUSED TAP
A fused tap for an elbow connector that properly insulates and houses an interruption device or fuse to provide protection on underground distribution power lines. The interruption device is replaceable without the need of replacing the entire assembly. The fused tap provides flexibility in installation for existing and new underground distribution lines and/or feeders.
FUSE SWITCH MODULE
The invention refers to a low-cost fuse switch module that comprises a pair of fixed contacts and a rotary contact rotatable about a rotation axis located in-between the fixed contacts. The rotary contact is rotatable between a closed position in which it is connected with the fixed contacts to enable current circulation, and an open position in which the rotary contact is electrically isolated from the pair of fixed contacts .
Relay
A relay (100) is provided. The relay (100) includes an insulating housing (10) defining an accommodating cavity (11) therein; two binding posts (12) disposed to the insulating housing (10), each having an end extending into the accommodating cavity (11); an insulating plate (20) disposed within the accommodating cavity (11), movable between a first position and a second position, and having two connecting contacts (21) disposed on a first side of the insulating plate (20) facing the binding posts (12); a fuse (30) disposed between the two connecting contacts (21); a mounting base (40) connected to the insulating housing (10); and a push rod (41) movably disposed to the mounting base (40) and connected to the insulating plate (20), in which when the insulating plate (20) is located at the first position, the two connecting contacts (21) abut against the two binding posts (12) respectively, and when the insulating plate (20) is located at the second position, the two connecting contacts (21) detach from the two binding posts (12) respectively.
