Contactor Module and a Contactor Module Arrangement
A contactor module is adapted to detect a switching state of a contactor. The contactor module includes a movable element that is arranged to transmit the movement of a switching element of the contactor to the contactor module; and a deflection lever attached to the movable element. The deflection lever is arranged to indicate the switching state.
Smart self-feeding fuse with current detection and communication
A smart, self-feeding fuse with current detection and communication capabilities for use in overhead medium voltage electrical distribution networks (15 kV to 34 kV). The device is configured to detect transient or permanent electric faults (sensor), and/or to be used as a communication device (gateway) that preserves the main protection function of the fuse element. The device is assembled on a base fuse and is simply installed by using a maneuver pole, similarly to the installation of a conventional fuse tube. The invention is self-fed by a high output current transformer with the help of photovoltaic cells, using a supercapacitor bank as the only power storage element.
DISCONNECTOR DEVICE WITH PASSIVE RADIO DEVICE, GRID PROTECTION SYSTEM HAVING THE DISCONNECTOR DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR INDICATING A STATE OF THE DISCONNECTOR DEVICE
A disconnector device is connectable to pole-mounted equipment in a power grid. The disconnector device is activated in case of an overload condition, thereby disconnecting the pole-mounted equipment. The disconnector device comprises a passive radio device to be enabled via an incoming radio signal. The passive radio device, upon being enabled, transmits, in at least one state of the disconnector device, an indicator radio signal indicative of the respective state of the disconnector device, the state being one of an activated state and a deactivated state of the disconnector device.
Switch
A switch that includes a sensor device capable of transmitting data related to a sensor signal of at least one sensor of the sensor device to an external unit through wireless communication.
Relay examination device and battery management system
The present disclosure relates to a relay examination device and a battery management system including the same, the relay examination device includes a first resistor unit having one end connected to one end of a relay, a second resistor unit having one end connected to the other end of the first resistor unit, a power unit connected to the other end of the second resistor unit and configured to supply power, and a control unit configured to receive a voltage signal applied between the first resistor unit and the second resistor unit and to examine whether the relay is open or closed or whether the relay has malfunctioned.
Explosion proof fiber optic based detection
A system for measuring a status of a detection device having a component transformable between a plurality of configurations includes a fiber optic cable for transmitting light. The at least one fiber optic cable defines a node arranged in communication with the component. A control system is operably coupled to the fiber optic cable such that scattered light reflected from the component and returned to the node is transmitted to the control system. The control system analyzes the scattered light to determine the configuration of the component.
HYBRID SWITCH FOR AN INPUT DEVICE
An input device comprises a depressible element with two switches including a first switch configured to generate a first signal when the depressible element is depressed by a threshold distance and a second switch configured to generate a second signal indicating when the depressible element is depressed by the threshold distance and the second switch is in an active state. One or more processors may be configured to receive the first signal from the first switch; configure the second switch to change from an inactive state to an active state in response to receiving the first signal; receive the second signal from the second switch in the active state; determine whether the second signal indicates that the depressible element is depressed by the threshold distance; and generate event data confirming that the depressible element is depressed by the threshold distance in response to receiving the second signal.
Apparatus and a method for optically linking AC power line with dc low voltage power line
An apparatus and a method for optically linking at least two AC and DC low voltage cascading power grids connecting at least two intelligent support boxes (ISB) each powered by two distinct AC standard power grid and separately powered by DC low voltage power grid with each grid is further linked by a cascading segments of optical cable grid, enabling two way control, operate and report electrical activity through plug in wiring devices (PWD) for supporting DC and AC plurality of connected/attached loads.
Switching apparatus with electrically isolated user interface
An apparatus includes: a high-voltage module including: a current interrupter; an actuation system coupled to the current interrupter; a sensor system; and a terminal configured to electrically connect to an external electrical device. The apparatus also includes: a user interface; and an electrically insulating assembly between the user interface and the high-voltage module. In operational use, the user interface is grounded and the high-voltage module is at a system voltage.
Operation Switch Unit with Operation Support Function, Operation Unit with Operation Support Function, and Operation Support System
The emergency stop switch 2 performs an operation support of an operation switch, and not only improves operability and safety but also simplifies the structure to enhance reliability. The emergency stop switch (or operation switch unit) 2 with an operation support function includes an emergency stop button (or operation switch) 21 for switching the state of the contact, a reception part (or detection part) 32 for detecting a remote operation of the emergency stop button 21 and an electromagnetic solenoid (or actuating part) 3 that is disposed between the contact and the emergency stop button 21 and that actuates the emergency stop button 21 on the basis of the remote operation received (or detected) by the reception part 32. The emergency stop button 21 is located on one end side of the emergency stop switch 2 and the contact is located on the other end side of the emergency stop switch 2.
