The assembly also includes a printed circuit board (PCB) assembly defining a PCB aperture, the PCB aperture is sized to receive the optical block, and an elastomeric membrane defining a membrane aperture sized to receive the optical block, the optical block extends from the LCD panel through the PCB and membrane apertures, the membrane channels fluid flow to outer edges of the membrane and around the PCB assembly and the LCD panel.
CONTROL CIRCUIT FOR A LUMINOUS GARMENT AND METHOD FOR ACTIVATING LIGHT SOURCES ON GARMENTS
The invention relates to a circuit for controlling light sources for a luminous garment, such as footwear, jackets, trousers, caps, belts. The circuit comprises an electric power source, such as a battery, a processor, one or more light sources and a switch. The processor and the light sources are powered by the electric power source. The light sources are connected to the processor, which controls their turning on and turning off, for example selectively based on a light program. The switch is connected to both the electric power source and the processor, and can be operated by the user in order to switch the processor on and off. The circuit is advantageously configured so that the electric resistance inside the processor, between the contact with the switch and the contact with the positive pole of the electric power source, is higher than the circuit resistance upstream of the processor itself, i.e. the resistance between the electric power source and the contact of the processor with the switch. In the event that water or condensation cause the circuit to close, even though the switch is in the open position, the current powering the processor is still insufficient to cause it to be switched on. A method for activating light sources in a luminous garment is also described.
Intelligent lighting control apparatuses, systems, and methods
The present disclosure provides light switch modules and methods of implementing a light switch module for a lighting control system. The light switch modules include a light switch actuator including an actuation surface. The light switch actuator is movable to connect an electrical flow path and to activate a tactile display housed in the light switch actuator. One or more tactile motions are applied on the actuation surface of the light switch actuator for selecting a lighting setting from among a plurality of lighting settings using the tactile display.

Keypad Having Illuminated Buttons
A control device for controlling power delivered to an electrical load may illuminate an area around a button of the control device, such as a gap formed between the button and an opening of a faceplate of the control device. The control device may illuminate the gap to provide a nightlight feature, to provide feedback (e.g., a status of the electrical load), and/or to indicate a selected preset. The button may have a cap portion that may be actuated by a user and a diffuser portion that may contact a rear surface of the cap portion and may conduct light emitted by an internal light source to illuminate the gap around the button.
PUSH-BUTTON SWITCH AND INPUT DEVICE
The present invention address the problem of providing a push-button switch which is capable of clearly displaying an image output from a display and which allows a person performing a depressing operation to have a distinct operational feel. Among the elements constituting the push-button switch, a button is a transparent or substantially transparent button which is disposed over a display and which receives a depressing operation. Lenses are disposed between the button and the display, and cause an image output from the display to be projected with a focal point at a diffusing plate in a top surface of the button in a standby position before a depressing operation is performed. A holding member incorporates the lenses in such a way that the position and orientation of each of the lenses are fixed with respect to the display. Thus, the problem is solved.
Control device having an integral reflecting structure for a sensing circuit
A wall-mounted keypad may include a light detector circuit located inside the keypad that is configured to measure an ambient light level in a space. The light detector circuit may receive ambient light through an aperture that is hidden from view by the keypad. The keypad may include a reflector for directing ambient light onto the light detector circuit. The keypad may include an enclosure that houses the light detector circuit. The enclosure may define a recess that exposes at least a portion of the light detector circuit. The enclosure may include a reflector that may focus ambient light received through the aperture onto the light detector circuit. The keypad may include a control circuit that may be configured to illuminate the indicia of respective buttons of the control device in response to actuations of the one or more buttons, in accordance with the measured ambient light level.
A SIGNALING DEVICE, AN ELECTRICAL FUSE APPARATUS AND A DEVICE COMPRISING THE ELECTRICAL FUSE APPARATUS
A signaling device adapted to be electrically coupled to an electric potential applied to terminals of a fuse element or to clips of a fuse holder. The signaling device is adapted to signal to the outside at least one property of the fuse element. In addition, the signaling device includes at least one transmission layer having an electrically controllable transmission factor.
Footswitch for medical devices
A foot switch (1, 26) for use with a medical device (16, 27, 28) comprises an interface (10) for a communications link between the foot switch (1, 26) and a control unit (12) of the device (16, 27, 28) and comprises at least one pedal (2, 3) for operating the foot switch (1, 26) using a foot. An operation sensor (17) captures an operation of the foot switch (1, 26) for switching a function of the medical device (16, 27, 28). The control unit (12) assigns the function to the pedal (2, 3) via the interface (10) and the assigned function is displayed on the foot switch (1, 26) by a multicolor LED (4, 5).
Push Switch and Motor Vehicle Having a Push Switch
A push switch and a motor vehicle in which such a push switch is used. The push switch has a push cap, a baseplate, a switch element which is actuatable by the push cap, a first lever, and a second lever. The first lever and the second lever are mounted rotatably on the baseplate by means of bearing blocks and are each connected movably to the push cap at a first lever end. At a second lever end, the first lever and the second lever are connected movably to one another. The first lever and the second lever are designed such that they form mass compensation for the push cap.
