Keyboard and key module thereof
A key module includes a keycap, an indicator light source, a first backlight source and a second backlight source. The keycap includes an indication area and a character area. The indicator light source is configured to emit an indicating light of a first color toward the indication area. The first backlight source is configured to emit a first backlight of the first color toward the character area. The second backlight source is configured to emit a second backlight of a second color toward the character area, wherein the second color is different from the first color. As a result, the key module could display the light of different colors based on different operations, thereby being distinguishable from the color of the light emitted by the adjacent key module.
Rotary actuator comprising a homogeneously illuminated display area
A rotary actuator includes a cylindrical main body and an actuating handle which is placed on the cylindrical main body. The actuating handle includes a display area that can be illuminated. A light source is arranged in the cylindrical main body and emits light that is reflected via a first reflection surface onto a first section of the display area.
Display device and manipulation switch equipped with it
A illuminating body, which is part of a display device provided in a vehicle-mounted manipulation switch, is formed by bonding a first illuminating member and a second illuminating member together so as to form a clearance between the first illuminating member and the second illuminating member. The first illuminating member is made of a resin having high light permeability such as, for example, a milky synthetic resin. The second illuminating member is made of a resin having low light permeability. The synthetic resin of the second illuminating member is in a color similar to the color of the manipulation surface of the manipulation button. The color of the synthetic resin is, for example, a dim smoke color. The second illuminating member has a graphic display part fitted into the display window and also has a flange formed at the bottom end of the graphic display part.
Actuator alternating indicator light
An exemplary embodiment of a load control device with a light indicator is disclosed. The load control device may include an actuator assembly and a light source. The actuator assembly may include a frame, a light pipe, and an actuator having two surfaces. The light pipe may be arranged within the actuator and include first and second legs. The first leg may extend towards the first surface, and the second leg may extend towards the second surface. When the actuator is in a first position, the light source may be optically aligned with one of the first and second legs; and, when the actuator is in a second position, the light source may be optically aligned with the other of the first and second legs. When the light source is illuminated, the light pipe may direct the light towards the respective surface of the actuator.
Lighting control system
Disclosed is a lighting control system of a vehicle seat switch. The lighting control system includes a movable object mounted to be rotatable with respect to a stationary object, a switch mounted on the movable object and configured to emit light, a position recognizer installed in the switch to sense position information of the switch, and a controller configured to receive the position information and to adjust an intensity of light emitted by the switch based on the position information.
Switch assembly and cooking apparatus having the same
Disclosed herein is a cooking apparatus including a switch assembly configured to uniformly distribute light emitted around a switch. A cooking apparatus includes a main body having a cooking chamber and a switch assembly rotatably mounted on the main body. The switch assembly includes a switch rotatably provided, a switch holder coupled to the switch and a light guide disposed between the switch and the switch holder to uniformly emit light emitted from a light source.
UV LIGHT ILLUMINATED SURGICAL COVERING APPARATUS AND METHOD
A system and method of illuminating one or more foot pedals with an optically brightened layer positioned to fluoresce responsive to activation of one or more ultraviolet (UV) illuminating devices positioned adjacent or attached to the one or more foot pedals. The optically brightened layer may include an optically brightened coating covering at least a portion of each of the one or more foot pedals, or may include an optically brightened material layer positioned to cover and protect each of the one or more foot pedals from debris or moisture during use. A friction portion may be attached to the optically brightened material layer, the friction portion being positioned adjacent a lower surface of the foot pedal when the optically brightened material layer surrounds the foot pedal, the friction portion being configured to prevent sliding of the foot pedal against the floor or other surface.
SOFT UPPER TRIM FOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY OF VEHICLE DOOR AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
Provided is a soft upper trim of a vehicle door, in which an upper substrate, a foam, and a transparent skin are laminated, and particularly, to a soft upper trim for switch assembly of a vehicle door, in which a switch, which is configured to preserve continuity of a transparent skin and display lock and unlock symbols on the transparent skin, is easily assembled to an upper substrate, and a method of manufacturing the same.
KEYBOARD AND KEY MODULE THEREOF
A keyboard includes a base plate, a first key module, a second key module, a first light source, a second light source and an insulation layer. The first key module includes a first keycap disposed on the base plate, wherein the first keycap includes a first pattern aligned in a first direction. The second key module includes a second keycap disposed on the base plate, wherein the second keycap includes a second pattern different from the first pattern. The first light source is disposed under the first keycap at a position corresponding to the first pattern. The second light source is disposed under the second keycap at a position corresponding to the second patter. The insulation layer is disposed between the base plate and the first light source, wherein the insulation layer has a third pattern covering the first light source.
Active cover plates
A variety of active cover plate configurations with prongs configured to contact side screw terminals of electrical receptacles or switches are described.
