In a keyboard, a keybutton opposes an operation detection portion. A light source is provided on an outer side of the operation detection portion. A light guide member guides light from the light source to a keytop of the keybutton. The light guide member includes an incident portion opposing the light source, an emitting portion opposing the keytop, and a guide portion which guides the light incident from the incident portion to the emitting portion. An incident surface of the incident portion is formed in a shape of a curved surface that protrudes to the light source side.

A luminous keyboard includes a key structure, a supporting plate, a switch circuit board, a light guide plate, a top-view light-emitting element and a reflecting element. The supporting plate includes a supporting plate opening. The supporting plate is located under the key structure. The switch circuit board is located over the supporting plate. The light guide plate is located under the supporting plate, and includes a light guide plate opening. The top-view light-emitting element is inserted into the light guide plate opening. The reflecting element is arranged between the top-view light-emitting element and the key structure. After the light beam is transmitted through the supporting plate opening, the light beam is transmitted through the switch circuit board and reflected to the light guide plate by the reflecting element. Then, the light beam is guided to a periphery region of the key structure by the light guide plate.

Illuminated indicator for doorbell
12067862 · 2024-08-20 · ·

An illuminated indicator for a doorbell can be arranged to receive light along an optical axis (e.g., that is perpendicular to a front face of the doorbell housing) and emit the light from an output portion that defines a closed loop (e.g., that extends around the optical axis) and in a direction that is parallel to the optical axis. The illuminated indicator can include a light pipe that receives light along the optical axis and reflects the light to follow a radially outward and divergent path, e.g., that is perpendicular to the optical axis. The radially outward and divergent light can be reflected to follow a path that is parallel to the optical axis for emission at an output portion of the light pipe. The light pipe can be configured to transmit a doorbell switch activation force to other parts of the doorbell to cause actuation of the switch.

Input device

The conspicuity of a light emitting surface provided along an outer edge of an input member is enhanced. An input device (10) includes an upper cabinet section (41) having an opening formed therein, an input member (20) that has an upper surface to be touched by a user with a finger and that is disposed inside the opening, and a light diffusing member (71) having a light emitting surface (E2) located along an outer edge of the input member (20). The light emitting surface (E2) has a first region (71g) exposed in a gap between an inner edge of the opening of the upper cabinet section (41) and an outer edge of the input member (20) and a second region (71h) positioned on an inner side of the outer edge of the input member (20) and below a peripheral portion (21a) of the input member (20).
