A panel device includes a protective cover that has an insertion hole for an ON/OFF knob of a molded case circuit breaker and is formed to cover an exposed live part of the molded case circuit breaker and provided with an engaging part at a predetermined portion thereof; a cover support member that openably and closably supports this protective cover; and a cover locking member that engages with the engaging part when the protective cover is closed and restricts turning of the protective cover; wherein any one of the protective cover, the cover support member and the cover locking member is movably provided in conjunction with movement of the ON/OFF knob, and the engaging part and the cover locking member are engaged with each other or released from each other by the movement of the any one of those.

A safety shutter of the present disclosure comprises: a base unit; a shutter unit; and a cam unit. The base unit is coupled to a cradle of an air circuit breaker, and a terminal connected to a main circuit passes through the base unit. The shutter unit is coupled to the base unit so as to be spaced apart at a predetermined interval, and accommodates the terminal in the space between the shutter unit and the base unit. The cam unit extends from the base unit and penetrates the shutter unit. The shutter unit deactivates insulation by exposing the terminal in the direction of the air circuit breaker when the air circuit breaker is inserted in the direction of the base unit.

Spring loaded, bistable connect/disconnect for MCC unit

A spring loaded, bistable connect/disconnect mechanism for a motor control center (MCC) unit 20, provides a secure and quick means to connect and disconnect the stab 30 of a MCC unit to a vertical power bus 24. The low profile mechanism comprises a series of flat links 6, 7, and 11 and an over-center spring 8 in the top of the MCC unit, for efficient use of space. The mechanism provides an additional force to quickly connect and disconnect the stabs to and from the power bus. The mechanism enables safe insertion and removal of the MCC unit from an MCC section, by incorporating interlocks 5 to prevent the MCC unit from being inserted when the stabs are extended and to prevent the MCC unit from being removed when the stabs are extended. Interlocks prevent the extension or retraction of the stabs when the handle is in an ON position.

Operator for an electrical switching apparatus

An operator for an electrical switching apparatus includes an actuator configured to be grasped by a user. A linkage is attached to the actuator at a first end of the linkage and configured for extending through an enclosure housing the electrical switching apparatus. An engagement assembly is attached to the linkage at a second end of the linkage such that when the operator is mounted to the enclosure movement of the actuator outside of the enclosure causes movement of the engagement assembly inside the enclosure. The engagement assembly includes an extension arm attached to the linkage and an attachment member attached to the extension arm. The attachment member is configured to engage a toggle of the electrical switching apparatus in the enclosure to move the toggle between at least two positions.

DIGITALIZED DOUBLE-EXCITATION UNINTERRUPTED SWITCHING POWER SUPPLY

A digitalized double-excitation uninterrupted switching power supply comprises a main transformer provided with a primary coil and a secondary coil, a main loop, a synchronous rectification output loop, a synchronous direct-current converter and a digital control unit, wherein the main loop comprises a high-voltage switching network, a resonant inductor, the primary coil and a resonant capacitor. The synchronous rectification output loop comprises a current-doubler rectifier formed by connecting two synchronous rectifier tubes in series oppositely and the secondary coil in parallel, and a filter circuit connected to two output ends of the current-doubler rectifier. The synchronous direct-current converter comprises two low-voltage switching tubes, an isolator and a low-voltage direct-current source. The digital control unit selects the main loop or the synchronous direct-current converting circuit automatically to work according to the voltage change of a high-voltage direct-current bus, and provides stable DC output.

A transfer assembly is for a switching assembly of an electrical enclosure. The switching assembly includes an electrical switching apparatus having an operating handle structured to move from an OFF position to an ON position. The transfer assembly includes a driving handle; a first shaft member coupled to the driving handle; a second shaft member structured to be coupled to the operating handle; and a transmission assembly having a first component and a second component, the first component being coupled to the first shaft member, the second component being coupled to the second shaft member. The transfer assembly is structured to move from a FIRST position to a SECOND position. When the transfer assembly moves from the FIRST position to the SECOND position, the first component drives the second component, thereby causing the second shaft member to move the operating handle from the OFF position to the ON position.

Motor control center unit disconnect with interlocks

A connect/disconnect mechanism for an MCC unit, prevents a circuit breaker from being turned on while the unit is being inserted into an MCC section, until stabs of the unit have been connected to a power bus. A cam is rotatably mounted on a pivoted platform in the MCC unit, an actuating arm is coupled between a unit on/off handle of the MCC unit and the cam, and a bail is pivotally mounted on the pivoting platform and connected to a switch handle of the breaker. A cam surface in a slot of the cam is configured to engage a pin projecting from the bail, when the pivoted platform is forced in a backward direction to connect the stabs to the bus, thereby operatively connecting the unit on/off handle to the switch handle of the breaker.
