Electrical contact system
An electrical contact system includes a static contact, a movable contact movable between a switch-on position with the movable contact in electrical contact with the static contact and a switch-off position with the movable contact separated from the static contact, and an arc extinguishing device including an arc extinguishing member and a driving mechanism. When the movable contact is moved to the switch-on position, the arc extinguishing member is moved beyond a contact area between the movable contact and the static contact and the movable contact is allowed to be in electrical contact with the static contact. When the movable contact is moved to the switch-off position, the arc extinguishing member is moved between the movable contact and the static contact and the movable contact is electrically isolated from the static contact.

Electrical switch
An electrical switch for interrupting a current path. The switch includes a contact point formed from a first and a second contact piece mounted such that it can move about a rotation axis. The contact point is closed when the two contact pieces are in contact and is electrically opened when the two contact pieces are not in contact. The electrical switch includes an actuator unit and an electrically non-conductive separating element which can be moved in a translatory manner by means of the actuator unit and is designed to isolate the two contact pieces and then to keep the two contact pieces apart. The actuator unit includes a movement element mechanically coupled to the separating element, a drive device designed to move the movement element in order to close the contact point, a device for generating and/or storing kinetic energy and an electromagnetic actuator.
DC CIRCUIT BREAKER
A DC circuit breaker includes a case, two fixed contacts, two movable contacts, a bypass plate electrically connecting the two movable contacts, a moving block to move the bypass plate, a moving block biasing member to bias the moving block in a direction away from the fixed contacts, a thermally responsive member, a latch, a shutter, and a shutter biasing member. The thermally responsive member deforms when an installation surface equals or exceeds a prescribed temperature. The latch restricts movement of the moving block by locking the moving block when the thermally responsive member is in a pre-deformation state. The latch cancels the restriction of the movement the thermally responsive member deforms. The shutter is insertable between the fixed contacts and the movable contacts. The shutter biasing member constantly biases the shutter in a direction to be inserted between the fixed contacts and the movable contacts.
SAFETY LOCKOUT DEVICE FOR ELECTRICAL SWITCH
A safety lockout device can include a main body, a receiving portion of the main body configured to receive a portion of an arm of an electrical switch, and a locking portion of the main body configured to be inserted into a receiving portions of the electrical switch.
Electrical contact system
An electrical contact system includes a static contact having a static contact point, a movable contact having a movable contact point, a rotating member on which the movable contact is mounted, and an arc extinguishing device having an arc extinguishing sheet. The movable contact is rotatable with the rotating member between a switch-on position and a switch-off position. When the movable contact is rotated to the switch-on position, the arc extinguishing sheet is rotated beyond a contact area between the movable contact point and the static contact point, allowing electrical contact of the movable contact point with the static contact point. When the movable contact is rotated to the switch-off position, the arc extinguishing sheet is rotated into the contact area between the movable contact point and the static contact point, electrically isolating the movable contact point from the static contact point and cutting off an electric arc.

Electric contact system
An electric contact system includes a moving member movable in a vertical direction, a movable contact mounted on and moved with the moving member, a static contact, and an arc extinguishing device including a movable bracket movable in a horizontal direction and an arc extinguishing sheet mounted on and movable with the movable bracket. The movable contact moves between a switch-on position and a switch-off position. When the movable bracket is moved to a first position, the arc extinguishing sheet is moved beyond a contact area between the movable contact and the static contact and allows the movable contact to electrically contact the static contact. When the movable bracket is moved to a second position, the arc extinguishing sheet is moved into the contact area between the movable contact and the static contact to electrically isolate the movable contact from the static contact.
Switching device
A switching device including a frame, a first fixed contact member having a first contact area, and a first movable contact member having a first contact arm provided with a contact area. The first movable contact member is adapted to pivot relative to the frame around a first pivoting axis between a first position and a second position. The switching device includes a spreader member that is adapted to provide a first intermediate position for the first movable contact member in which a projection of the contact area of the first contact arm overlaps at least partially with a projection of the first contact area on a switch plane perpendicular to the first pivoting axis while the contact area of the first contact arm is spaced apart from the first contact area.
RELAY CONTACTOR WITH COMBINED LINEAR AND ROTATION MOTION
A relay contactor is provided and includes a shaft assembly comprising a plate, which is movable between an open position at which the plate is displaced from leads and a closed position at which the plate contacts the leads and an actuation system configured to selectively move the plate into the closed position. At least one of the shaft assembly and the actuation system is configured such that, as the plate moves into and away from the closed position, a movement of the plate relative to the leads comprises at least a non-linear, rotational or an abnormally linear component.
