Voltage regulator system and method of use
Embodiments of the disclosure pertain to a voltage regulator system having a voltage regulation controller and a transformer assembly. The transformer assembly includes a coil winding, a multi-contact tap arrangement connected to the coil winding, and a multifurcated tap changer system that includes a first tap changer having a contactor element which makes contact with a first contact of the multi-contact tap arrangement when the controller provides a positioning stimulus based on sensing a voltage deviation from a nominal output voltage of the voltage regulator system. The multifurcated tap changer system further includes a second tap changer that is mechanically ganged to the first tap changer and includes another contactor element arranged to automatically make contact with a second contact of the multi-contact tap arrangement when the contactor element of the first tap changer makes contact with the first contact of the multi-contact tap arrangement.
MOLDED-CASE CIRCUIT BREAKER FOR DC
The present invention relates to a molded-case circuit breaker for direct current (DC), and more particularly, to a molded-case circuit breaker for DC in which a connecting conductor for connecting terminals in the DC circuit breaker is configured as an assembly unit and contained in a terminal receiving portion to improve insulation performance and assemblability and reduce occupied space. There is provided a molded-case circuit breaker for DC that contains a plurality of interruption units, the DC circuit breaker including a terminal connecting unit that connects terminals of adjacent interruption units, the terminal connecting unit being placed within a terminal receiving portion on the front or rear of an outer casing of the circuit breaker.
Relay having two electrically parallel contact springs
A relay with two current paths thermally connected in parallel is particularly fail-safe. In case of a failure of one main contact, the additional load current is led via the remaining functioning main contact. The failed main contact as well as the thermal connection between the two main contacts then serve as heat sinks, whereby the relay can continue to operate.

SWITCHING SYSTEM
A switching system, in particular of an on-board electrical system of a motor vehicle having a first disc which has a first, a second, a third, and a fourth stationary contact. The second and the third stationary contact, are electrically contacted by a first contact bar of the first disc. The switching system also has a second disc which has a first, a second, a third, and a fourth movable contact. The first and the second movable contact are electrically contacted by a second contact bar of the second disc, and the third and the fourth movable contact are electrically contacted by a third contact bar of the second disc. The second disc is rotationally mounted about a rotational axis relative to the first disc, wherein all the contacts are electrically connected in series in an angular position. A circuit breaker is also provided that includes a switching system.
Switch for an on-load tap changer and load transfer switch for an on-load tap changer
An on-load tap-changer of a tap-changing transformer has a switch. The switch has: a take-off contact; a primary fixed contact; and a contact unit. The contact unit has a moving contact, a first arcing contact and a second arcing contact. These contacts are pivotable about a pivot axis during a switchover process such that the contacts assume a first position, in which they make contact with the take-off contact and the primary fixed contact, and a second position, in which they are separated from the take-off contact and the primary fixed contact. The second arcing contact assumes the first position before the first arcing contact when switching over from the second position to the first position and leaves the first position after the first arcing contact when switching over from the first position to the second position.

Pyrotechnic Switch
A pyrotechnic switch having a casing, at least one electrical conductor passing through the casing, a piston housed in the casing, the piston-casing assembly being designed to cut the electrical conductor at least at three separate locations, so as to form at least two free conductive strands, separate from the rest of the electrical conductor, a pyrotechnic actuator designed to force the piston to cut the electrical conductor, wherein the piston-casing assembly is designed to cut the electrical conductor such that each free strand has at least one base portion with either no or two folded wings arranged on either side of the base portion, and to create at least one free strand with two folded wings.
