An electromagnetic relay includes a base, an electromagnet block mounted on an upper surface of the base, a movable iron piece configured to be rotatable based on excitation and non-excitation of the electromagnet block, a movable contact piece configured to be rotatable integrally with the movable iron piece, a movable contact fixed to a free end portion of the movable contact piece, and a fixed contact fixed to a fixed contact terminal, and disposed so as to be separable from and contacted with the movable contact along with rotation of the movable contact piece. A permanent magnet configured to induce an arc generated between the movable contact and the fixed contact in a predetermined direction is housed in a recessed portion formed on a lower surface of the base in a direction toward a side opposite to the movable contact as viewed from the fixed contact terminal.

DC ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT BREAKER

A DC electrical circuit breaker includes first and second movable electrical contacts. The circuit breaker includes a magnetic circuit including a magnet and generating a magnetic field able to guide an electrical arc in the direction of a quenching chamber, and having for this purpose curved field lines extending perpendicularly to opposite lateral walls of an electrical arc formation chamber, these field lines converging, in a central region of the arc formation chamber containing the contact zones, toward the quenching chamber while extending parallel to the longitudinal plane.

A fluid connector for coolant includes a chamfered lip and a fir tree circumferentially aligned with at least one O-ring on an outer body of the fluid connector. The fluid connector is configured to receive an end piece. The end piece has a standard SAEJ2044 end form. The fluid connector utilizes a housing to form a ribbing and support a seal. An integrated inverter assembly includes a main cover and an opposing back cover; a coolant channel disposed between a coolant channel cover and a coolant channel separating body; wherein power electronics of the integrated inverter assembly are thermally coupled to the coolant channel; wherein at least one of a coolant inlet or a coolant outlet of the coolant channel comprises a fluid connector; and wherein the fluid connector comprises a chamfered lip on an end of the fluid connector.

CONTACT UNIT FOR A SWITCHING DEVICE AND SWITCHING DEVICE

A contact unit for a switching device includes: a first fixed contact; a second fixed contact; a contact bridge; a first movable contact and a second movable contact that are arranged at the contact bridge; a first arc extinguishing chamber, a second arc extinguishing chamber, and a third arc extinguishing chamber; and an arc guiding system. The first fixed contact is in contact with the first movable contact and the second fixed contact is in contact with the second movable contact in a switched-on state of the contact unit. The first fixed contact is free of contact with the first movable contact and the second fixed contact is free of contact with the second movable contact in a switched-off state of the contact unit. The first and the second arc extinguishing chamber and the arc guiding system in coordination with each other extinguish a first arc.

Disclosed embodiments relate to an improved switching or contactor device with high arc extinguishing capabilities industrial and railways applications where a high current must be switched on and off. The switching or contactor device includes, in a casing, a switch base portion including electrical switching means of a low voltage driving portion active on moving contacts; a high voltage portion including the moving contacts driven towards and away from each other with respect to a mutual contact position, said moving contacts being mounted at respective contact ends of a toggle mechanism which is movable by a low voltage driving portion, and a top arc chute extinguishing portion covering the high voltage portion. Hardware is provided in the proximity of the moving contacts to influence an electric arc occurring when currents are switched on and off by the moving contacts moving towards and away from each other.

An arc extinction apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises a chamber unit, a division unit, a filter unit, and a cover unit. A discharge port is formed in the chamber unit such that a fluid in the chamber unit is discharged to the outside. An insertion groove is provided on inner faces of the chamber unit that face each other. The division unit is coupled to the inside of the chamber unit. In addition, the division unit divides a path of the fluid discharged through the discharge port into multiple paths. The filter unit is disposed in the discharge port and filters out at least one predetermined material from the fluid passing through the discharge port. The cover unit comprises a plurality of exhaust pipes and is coupled to the discharge port from the outside of the filter unit.

An electromagnetic relay includes a fixed contact holder, a moving contact holder, an electromagnetic device, and a magnet. The fixed contact holder extends in a predetermined direction and is provided with a fixed contact. The moving contact holder also extends in the predetermined direction, and is provided with a moving contact. The magnet is arranged perpendicularly to an opening/closing direction of the fixed contact and the moving contact. A stretch space in which an arc generated between the fixed contact and the moving contact is stretched is provided, in the predetermined direction, beyond respective tips of the fixed contact holder and the moving contact holder. The stretch space also faces a surface of the fixed contact holder and a surface of the moving contact holder.
