Disclosed are a circuit breaking unit and an air circuit breaker including the same. The present disclosure provides a circuit breaking unit, including a fixed contact; a movable contact that is in contact with or spaced apart from the fixed contact; a fixed contact terminal having the fixed contact disposed at a lower end thereof and extending upward; a movable contact terminal including the movable contact and configured such that the movable contact is formed to move in a direction toward the fixed contact or in a direction away from the fixed contact; a low runner disposed extending upward from the fixed contact, one end thereof coupled to the fixed contact terminal, and the other end thereof spaced apart from the fixed contact terminal; and a protruding contact disposed extending upward from the movable contact, energized when in contact with the low runner, and spaced apart from the low runner when the movable contact is tripped.

STATIONARY CONTACT ASSEMBLY AND CORRESPONDING SWITCH CONTACT
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a stationary contact assembly and a corresponding switch contact. The stationary contact assembly comprises: a stationary contact body (21); a stationary contact point (23) placed on the stationary contact body (21); and an arc-guiding member (25) fixed on the stationary contact body (21) and including an arc guiding portion (251), the arc guiding portion (251) comprising a first end (A) and a second end (B) that are opposite to each other, the first end (A) being close to the stationary contact point (23), a direction form the first end (A) to the second end (B) defining a main movement direction (F) of arc. The arc guiding portion (251) of the arc-guiding member (25) comprises an arc-guiding section (2511) at the first end (A), the arc-guiding section is adapted to guide the arc away from the stationary contact point (23) into the arc guiding portion (251), and the stationary contact point (23) is close to or in contact with the arc-guiding section (2511) in the main movement direction (F) of the arc. The stationary contact assembly of the embodiments of the present disclosure has an improved arc-guiding member that can guide the arc to quickly leave the contact point, enhance the mechanical strength of the stationary contact and reduce the production cost of the contact.
ARC EXTINGUISHING UNIT AND AIR CIRCUIT BREAKER COMPRISING SAME
Disclosed are an arc extinguishing unit and an air circuit breaker comprising the same. The present disclosure provides an arc extinguishing unit, including: side plates spaced apart from each other and disposed to face each other; a plurality of grids disposed between the side plates, spaced apart from each other, and coupled to the side plates, respectively; and a grid cover located above the grid and covering the grid, wherein the grid includes a grid leg extending downward from both ends in the width direction so that an induced magnetic field can be formed by an arc generated when a fixed contact and a movable contact are spaced apart.

Disclosed are an arc extinguishing unit, a circuit breaking unit, and an air circuit breaker including the same. The present disclosure provides an arc extinguishing unit, a circuit breaking unit, and an air circuit breaker, including: side plates spaced apart from each other and disposed to face each other; a plurality of grids disposed between the side plates, spaced apart from each other, and coupled to the side plates, respectively; and a grid cover located above the grid and covering the grid, wherein the grid includes a grid leg extending downward to surround from both sides a protruding contact disposed to extend upward from a movable contact; and a first protective part formed to surround at least a portion of the grid leg at a lower portion of the grid leg.
Electric arc-control device
An electric arc breaker device comprises a contact zone in which there are present at least one stationary contact and at least one movable contact that is movable relative to the stationary contact. The contacts are capable of being put into contact with each other and of being separated from each other. An arcing horn is present facing the stationary contact, the height h.sub.c of the arcing horn being greater than or equal to the height h.sub.t of the stationary contact, and the arcing horn presenting a folded-back arc switching portion extending in a direction away from the stationary contact.

Disclosed are a circuit breaking unit and an air circuit breaker including the same. The present disclosure provides a circuit breaking unit, including: a fixed contact; a movable contact that is in contact with or spaced apart from the fixed contact; a fixed contact terminal having the fixed contact disposed at a lower end thereof and extending upward; a movable contact terminal on which the movable contact is disposed and configured such that the movable contact moves in a direction toward the fixed contact or in a direction away from the fixed contact; and a low runner disposed extending upward from the fixed contact, one end thereof coupled to the fixed contact terminal, and the other end thereof spaced apart from the fixed contact terminal, wherein a magnet unit or a U assembly is disposed between the low runner and the fixed contact terminal.
Magnetic circuit arrangement for an electrical switch
An electrical switch includes a fixed contact member and a plurality of movable contact fingers that pivot into and out of engagement with the fixed contact member. The electrical switch also includes a fixed magnetic member and a plurality of U-shaped magnetic members housing the plurality of movable contact fingers. Upon occurrence of a fault condition, each of the plurality of U-shaped magnetic members is magnetically pulled towards the fixed magnetic member, without contacting the fixed magnetic member, such that each of the plurality of movable contact fingers is held in engagement with the fixed contact member.
SWITCHING DEVICE WITH ARC EXTINGUISHING DEVICE AND ARC GUIDE
The present invention relates to a switching device comprising at least one contact point, an arc extinguishing chamber assigned to the contact point, and an arc blow device assigned to the contact point. The arc extinguishing chamber comprises an exit opening through which plasma, which is generated inside the switching device by a switch arc developing when the contact point opens, can exit out of the switching device, the exit opening having a clearance dimension and defining an exit plane. The arc blow device is provided for generating a magnetic blow field by which the switch arc developing when the contact point opens is blown away from the contact point towards the exit opening. Furthermore, the switching device comprises at least one first arc guide plate which extends from the contact point to the exit opening and by which the switch arc is guided and stretched on the way from the contact point to the exit opening, wherein the first arc guide plate comprises a first portion and a second portion within the arc extinguishing chamber between the contact point and the exit plane, the first portion of the first arc guide plate being arranged proximal to the contact point, and the second portion of the first arc guide plate being arranged distal to the contact point. According to the invention it is provided that the second portion of the first arc guide plate extends beyond the exit opening in a direction parallel to the exit plane so that the switch arc is stretched by the second portion of the first arc guide plate at least at one end of the switch arc beyond the clearance dimension of the exit opening, wherein an arc guide pin projecting from the second portion of the first arc guide plate is arranged in front of the exit opening, by which arc guide pin the switch arc is again shortened in front of the exit opening.
