The electrical devices have a main housing, a line side housing for line side connectors and jaws, a securement portion for mounting the electrical device in a back pan of the electrical distribution apparatus. A method for mounting the electrical device in the electrical distribution apparatus is provided. A method for forming the line side connector assembly and installing the line side connector assembly to the main housing of the electrical device is also provided.

There is provided a relay and mounting bracket combination comprising a relay having a body with a terminal end portion provided with one or more electrical terminal connectors and a base end portion adapted for engagement with the bracket, wherein the bracket is provided with attachment features which facilitate the mounting of the bracket to an external object or surface when the bracket is engaged with the base end portion of the relay.

A jumper with safety fuse. The jumper includes first and second conducting wires and a fuse assembly interposed therebetween and connected thereto. A connector assembly is connected to each of the first and second conducting wires, which includes a plug section and a receptacle section. The plug section includes a body, a lead connector extending from a top of the body, and a plug extending from a base of the body. The receptacle section includes a socket configured to receive the plug and conduct electricity to its corresponding conducting wire, thereby forming an electrical connection therebetween. The jumper may be provided in a jumper kit with jumpers of different gauges and a set of interchangeable lead connectors.

A modular circuit breaker includes a module assembly coupled to a primary assembly. The primary assembly includes a primary housing, separable contacts disposed therein, a first terminal conductor electrically connected to one of the separable contacts, a conductive tab electrically connected to another one of the separable contacts and which extends outward from a first end of the primary housing, an operating mechanism disposed in the primary housing for selectively opening and closing the separable contacts, and a trip mechanism disposed in the primary housing cooperative with the operating mechanism to trip open the separable contacts. The module assembly includes a module housing having a second terminal conductor positioned therein and electrically connected to the conductive tab, a third terminal conductor structured to be electrically connected to a neutral conductor of a load, and a fourth terminal conductor structured to be coupled to a neutral bus.

The switching assembly also includes a shunt assembly including a number of shunts. The shunt assembly is configured in one of a series configuration or a parallel configuration.

Terminal barrier assemblies for electrical switching apparatus and methods of assembly thereof

A terminal barrier assembly for one or more terminals of an electrical switching apparatus, such as an electrical circuit breaker or switch. The terminal barrier includes a first barrier portion including a first opening portion, and a second barrier portion including a second opening portion. The first opening portion and second opening portion interface with one another to form a shielding aperture configured for shielding around one or more line wires extending from the one or more terminals. A terminal barrier assembly for one or more terminals of an electrical switching apparatus, such as an electrical circuit breaker or switch. The terminal barrier includes a first barrier portion including a first opening portion, and a second barrier portion including a second opening portion. The first opening portion and second opening portion interface with one another to form a shielding aperture configured for shielding around one or more line wires extending from the one or more terminals.
