A light guiding device is applied to an indication apparatus with a lighting function. The light guiding device includes a light guiding component and a piercing hole structure. The light guiding component has an incident surface and an emergent surface. The piercing hole structure is disposed between the incident surface and the emergent surface. An inner wall of the piercing hole structure includes at least one arc surface portion and at least one plane surface portion. Alight beam from the incident surface can be turned to a first angle via the arc surface portion, and the light beam can be turned to a second angle via the plane surface portion, so as to evenly project the light beam onto the emergent surface. A dimension of the emergent surface is greater than a dimension of the incident surface, and the first angle is greater than the second angle.

MEMBRANE SWITCHES CONFIGURED TO SENSE PRESSURE APPLIED FROM COMPLIANT AND RIGID OBJECTS

A pressure-activated membrane switch and methods of use are provided. The pressure-activated membrane switch includes an electrically-conductive membrane, and a compliant conductive material having an electrically-conductive inner surface, wherein contact between the electrically-conductive membrane and the electrically-conductive inner surface of the compliant material is configured to cause an electrical circuit, of which the switch is a part, to close. The pressure-activated membrane switch further includes a plurality of spacers dispersed between the electrically-conductive membrane and the compliant conductive material. The plurality of spacers form one or more gaps between the electrically-conductive membrane and the compliant conductive material, and, with an application of pressure against the compliant conductive material, the compliant conductive material is configured to deform between the one or more gaps to contact the electrically-conductive membrane.

The modular accessory device comprises a first connector module for coupling to a first transmitter device, the first connector module comprising a first input member; a power source controller coupled to the first connector module, the power source controller further arranged to be coupled to a power source; a visual indicator member coupled to the first connector module; wherein the first input member is arranged to receive a signal from the first transmitter device to instruct a first provision of power from the power source to the first transmitter device and a second provision of power to the visual indicator member; and further wherein the visual indicator member is arranged to be activated based on an indicator control signal received from the first transmitter device via the first input member.

An illuminated pushbutton for a pushbutton switch having a light transmitting pushbutton and an indicia cover that is attached to a front end of the light transmitting pushbutton. The indicia cover has non-light transmitting regions and light transmitting regions on its front surface, wherein the light transmitting regions provide visible, light-transmitted indicia on the light transmitting pushbutton. The indicia cover has an adhesive on its rear surface to attach the indicia cover to the front end of the light transmitting pushbutton. An LED in the pushbutton switch is constructed to transmit light to the indicia cover. The light passes through the light transmitting regions (symbols and letters) but not through the non-light transmitting regions. As the light passes through the light transmitting symbols and letters, the symbols and letters are lighted and visible in the dark.

The light-emitting die package is disposed under the keycap and includes a plurality of light-emitting dies generating light of at least three colors. The plurality of light-emitting dies are distributed in a plane and are monochromatic light-emitting dies. Therein, among the plurality of light-emitting dies, adjacent two light-emitting dies that are arranged in a first arrangement direction perpendicular to the vertical direction emit light of different colors. Among the plurality of light-emitting dies, adjacent two light-emitting dies that are arranged in a second arrangement direction perpendicular to the vertical direction emit light of different colors. The first arrangement direction and the second arrangement direction are non-parallel.

A method and apparatus for ranging finding of signal transmitting devices is provided. The method of signal reception is digitally based only and does not require receivers that are analog measurement devices. Ranging can be achieved using a single pulse emitting device operating in range spaced relation with a minimum of a single signal transmitter and a single digital receiver and processing circuitry. In general a plurality of transmitting pulsed emitters may be ranged and positioned virtually simultaneously in 3-dimensions (XYZ coordinates) using a configuration of a plurality of digital receivers arranged in any fixed 3-dimensional configuration. Applications may involve at least one single transmitter to receiver design to determine range, or at least one transmitted reflecting signal off from an object to determine range.
