Switching device having terminal cover, and method
A switching device is provided. The switching device includes a housing including a base and a switching device cover coupled to the base, a line side terminal positioned on a line side of the housing, a load side terminal positioned on a load side of the housing, wherein the line side is opposite the load side, a first terminal cover coupled to the switching device cover proximate the line side, and a second terminal cover coupled to the switching device cover proximate the load side, wherein the first terminal cover is movable between a closed position and an open position, wherein the first terminal cover is attached to said switching device cover in both the closed and open positions, and wherein the second terminal cover is attached to the switching device cover in both the closed and open positions.
MEDICAL DEVICE WITH A TWISTING BUTTON GIVING THE IMPRESSION TO BE PART OF A DISPLAY WINDOW
A medical device includes a housing that has a front face and a side face. The housing defines a window cavity on the front face and a button cavity in the side face. A display is disposed in the housing. The display is aligned in the housing for viewing through the window cavity. A window covers the display in the window cavity, and the display is at least partially visible through the window. The window extends along the front face to the button cavity in the side face. A button element is received in the button cavity. The button element and the window are separate components. The button element has opposing end edges that align with the end edges of the window where the button element and window meet to provide an impression that the window and the button element are integral with one another.
Press-type input device and press-rotate-type input device
A press-type input device includes a first pressing member, a second pressing member, a base, and a holding member. The first pressing member has a pressure receiving surface and a first axis and is tiltable around the first axis. The second pressing member has a second axis and is tiltable around the second axis. The base includes a detection unit configured to detect a tilt of the second pressing member. The holding member is configured to hold, together with the base, the first pressing member and the second pressing member. A location of at least one of the first axis or the second axis is variable in accordance with a pushed location on the pressure receiving surface. When viewed in a direction vertical to the pressure receiving surface, the second axis and the detection unit do not overlap each other.

Tamper resistant rugged keypad
A tamper-resistant or tamper-evident keypad device for use in secure transactions. The keypad comprises multiple security mechanisms to prevent tampering to the device, and thus access to users' private information. The keypad is made of resilient materials and contains a tamper-resistant collar for housing the keypad's connector interface. The keypad comprises a multi-layered printed circuit board with at least two internal security-shield layers comprising switch trace protection, as well as additional security layers for tamper protection. The keypad comprises a silicon-rubber keypad actuator that engages tamper switches on the flexible security circuit. The keypad comprises metal discs mounted on the front or rear face of the flexible circuit and an optional dome layer.
COMPOISITE RUBBER DOME AND MOLDING METHOD
The present disclosure discloses a composite rubber dome including a supporting part, an elastic connecting part, and a pressing part which are integrally molded with a silicon rubber material, wherein the pressing part is further provided with a composite part compositely molded with a rubber dome body by adopting an embedding or injection molding method and made of a non-silicon rubber material having higher hardness than the silicon rubber material, and the composite part and the pressing part are coaxially and correspondingly disposed in a pressing direction and the composite part is disposed on a side, in contact with a keycap, of an axial outer end of the pressing part, or a side, corresponding to a thin film circuit layer, of an axial inner end of the pressing part.
