Electric push-button switch, and operating element having an electric push-button switch

An electric pushbutton switch includes a pushbutton, a rocker, and a housing. The pushbutton has a substantially rectangular actuating surface. The pushbutton is received within the housing and is displaceable connected to the housing. The pushbutton displaces with respect to the housing by way of a pressure actuation onto the actuating surface, thus triggering an electrical switching element. The rocker is box-shaped and is arranged within the housing beneath the pushbutton body and is at least partially encompassed by the pushbutton. The rocker is mounted on an inner longitudinally extending wall of the housing by a pivot bearing. By actuating the actuating surface, the rocker pivots about the pivot bearing while supporting the pushbutton along the longitudinal extension of the pushbutton.

An interchangeable electrical assembly provides a tactile switch that selectively opens and closes a circuit for operating myriad styles of illumination devices. The tactile switch detachably mates with, and regulates conduction of direct current to the illumination device. The tactile switch also provides tactile feedback of an operating position. A wire carries a 12 volt direct current into a switch housing. A conductive member receives the direct current. A cap receives a force to axially displace the conductive member while providing tactile feedback to the position of the conductive member. A contact pin operatively connects to the conductive member. A spring biases the conductive member to disengage from the contact pin. The cap selectively displaces the conductive member to engage the contact pin. An illumination device detachably mates with tactile switch, and includes a conducting shaft, an inverter for converting direct current to alternating current, and circuitry to generate illumination.

Touch-action electric switch with pre-load stroke

An electric switch includes a base which receives a plurality of fixed electrical contacts and a movable electrical contact. The switch also includes an actuating body made of elastic material. The switch also includes a central, top, pushbutton. The body includes a lateral part, surrounding a top force-receiving portion. The pushbutton includes a lateral actuating surface for acting on this top lateral part of the body. When operated, successively, the central actuating surface of the pushbutton acts on the top force-receiving portion and elastically deforms a wall part of the body, and then the lateral actuating surface of the pushbutton acts on the top lateral part.

PUSHBUTTON SWITCH MEMBER

A pushbutton switch member has a dome-shaped movable contact and an operation key facing and separated from a movable contact. Pushing the operation key toward the movable contact causes the movable contact to electrically connect at least two contacts on a substrate. The operation key is provided with: a key; a dome connected with an outer periphery of the key, and deformable by pushing of the key toward the substrate; and a foot connected with an outer periphery of the dome, and fixed on the substrate. The movable contact is provided with: an upper contact spaced apart from a site directly below the key, and which makes contact with a contact when the key is pushed in; and an outer fixing part disposed at the upper contact, or further outside thereof in the radial direction, and fixed outside of the key in the radial direction.

An earphone device includes first and second earphone bodies into which respective electro-acoustic transducers are built; first and second cables, one end of each of which is connected to the respective earphone body and within each of which a switch member to be turned on by one-way press is disposed over a predetermined range along the length direction of the cable so that the cable has switch functions; wherein a switch is shunted into two switches by the first and second cables, portions of the first and second cables having switch functions are arranged one on top of the other, and an overlapped portion is unidirectionally pressed to simultaneously turn on the respective switches. In addition, a sound-reproducing system is configured by combining a mobile terminal which operates in conjunction with this earphone device.

An input key assembly including: a keycap; a substrate; an elastic deformable shell-like structure disposed between the substrate and the keycap; and an optical sensing arrangement disposed on the substrate to transmit a light beam and sense an interruption to the light beam. The elastic deformable shell-like structure includes a peripheral base portion in abutment with the substrate; an apex portion in abutment with the keycap; and a plunger-like element extending away from underneath the apex portion, wherein a free-end of the plunger-like element is opaque. The elastic deformable shell-like structure and the optical sensing arrangement are arranged in a manner such that the free-end of the plunger-like element interrupts the light beam when the keycap is depressed to deform the elastic deformable shell-like structure for collapsing the apex portion relative to the peripheral base portion to move the plunger-like element along a longitudinal axis of the plunger-like element.
