A keyboard device includes a membrane circuit board and a key structure over the membrane circuit board. The key structure includes a keycap, a plunger structure, a key pedestal and an elastic element. The plunger structure is arranged between the keycap and the elastic element. At least a portion of the keycap is disposed within a pedestal dust-storage chamber of the key pedestal. At least a portion of the plunger structure is disposed within a guiding chamber of the key pedestal. Due to the relative location between the keycap, the plunger structure and the key pedestal, the path of the dust to enter the guiding chamber is extended or blocked. Consequently, the dust-proof efficacy is enhanced.

The contact area increases according to a load that is applied to the contact member in a direction toward the variable resistor portion. The variable resistor portion includes an output varying region that varies an output voltage from the second electrode according to the contact area. The output varying region is formed so that a contact distance between the variable resistor portion and an outer peripheral portion of the contact member becomes longer as the contact area becomes larger, so that the contact area varies correspondingly to the load for improved linearity of the output voltage.

An electronic device includes a housing, a button hole disposed on a side of the housing, a physical button mounted in the button hole, a support bracket that supports the physical button, and a waterproof bracket that seals, on a side of the housing to which the button hole is adjacent, at least part of a specified area where the physical button and the support bracket are disposed. The waterproof bracket includes a first bracket that makes close contact inside the housing in a direction toward a first surface of the housing and a second bracket that extends from the first bracket while forming a predetermined angle with the first bracket and that makes close contact inside the housing in a direction toward a second surface of the housing that is different from the first surface of the housing.

The protective sheet includes: a pressing portion; a fixed portion fixed to the case; and an intermediate portion located between the pressing portion and the fixed portion as viewed in the first direction. As the pressing portion of the protective sheet is pressed along the first direction, the movable contact member deforms by force received from the protective sheet. The movable contact touches the fixed contact as a result of the deformation of the movable contact member.

The device comprises a body containing an electrical assembly that includes a power source, a switch, and an actuated member, such as a light. The switch includes a first conductor attachable to a first terminal of the power source and the switch member coupled to a second terminal of the power source. The switch member includes a switch portion that has a generally sheet-like portion that is disposed adjacent to the second terminal of the power source. The sheet-like portion includes a deformable central portion surrounded by a retained perimeter. The deformable portion is movable between a maintainable actuated position wherein it contacts the second terminal of the power source, and a maintained unactuated position wherein it is spatially separated from, and not in contact with, the second terminal of power source.
