The proposed capped keyboard apparatus includes plural independent keycaps, wherein each the keycap has a main body, and a cover layer covering the main body and including a shell fabric layer and a base material layer attached to the shell fabric layer, wherein a character is formed on an upper surface of the shell fabric layer, and a light emitted out from an interior of the capped keyboard apparatus is scattered uniformly because of the base material layer.

Push switch

A push switch includes a movable contact including a dome part that is shaped like a dome and configured to be inverted in shape when pressed, and a fixed contact including a first fixed contact, the movable contact being configured to be brought into contact with and away from the first fixed contact. The push switch is configured such that an operating load necessary to press the movable contact gradually increases after the movable contact starts to be pressed, decreases thereafter when the dome part is inverted, and increases again when the movable contact is further pressed, and the dome part contacts the first fixed contact after an inflection point at which the decreased operating load starts to increase again.

The key assembly is disposed on the thin-film switch circuit board assembly. The thin-film switch circuit board assembly is disposed on the base plate. The base plate is disposed on the light guide plate. The base plate and the light guide plate together form an aperture structure. The thin-film switch circuit board assembly includes a thin-film switch circuit board and a light-emitting unit. The thin-film switch circuit board forms a protrusion protruding toward the aperture structure. The light-emitting unit is disposed at the bottom surface of the protrusion and extends downward such that a lower end of the light-emitting unit is lower than a lower surface of the base plate so that the light-emitting unit emits light into the light guide plate directly.

The light-emitting assembly may include a phosphor structure, a transparent material positioned on opposing side surfaces of the phosphor structure, and an epoxy layer formed over an entire back surface of the phosphor structure and the transparent material. The light-emitting assembly may also include a mask layer formed over an entire top surface of: the phosphor structure, the transparent material, and the epoxy layer. The light-emitting assembly may further include a light source positioned within the phosphor structure for emitting a light.

Key input apparatus sensing touch and pressure and electronic apparatus having the same

According to one embodiment, there is provided an input apparatus comprising a key that is displaceable along a direction; a first detecting circuit that comprises an electrostatic capacitance sensor that detects a variation of an electrostatic capacitance caused by a contact or a proximity of a pressing body with the key; and a second detecting circuit that comprises a first electrode, the second detecting circuit detecting an electric connection of the first electrode to a second electrode that is displaced along the direction as the key is displaced, wherein the input apparatus switches a detecting status thereof exclusively between a first detecting status and a second detecting status to each other in accordance with a displacement variation of the key.

A venting system for a keyboard assembly is disclosed. A keyboard assembly including a printed circuit board defining a set of apertures, and a group of switch housings coupled to the printed circuit board. Each switch housing of the group of switch housings may define a switch opening positioned above one of the set of apertures of the printed circuit board. The keyboard assembly may also include a shield defining at least one channel of a venting system formed below the printed circuit board. The at least one channel may be in fluid communication with at least one aperture, and at least one of the switch openings positioned above the at least one aperture.

Key and switch housing for keyboard assembly

A key and a switch housing for a keyboard assembly is disclosed. A switch housing for the keyboard assembly may include a body having a switch opening and a light source recess formed adjacent the switch opening. The switch opening may house or receive a dome switch for the keyboard assembly and the light source recess may house or receive a light source assembly configured to illuminate a keycap of the keyboard assembly. The switch housing also can include a top panel integrally formed and molded to a portion of the body. The top panel covers the switch opening formed in the body and the top panel is a light guide.

The membrane circuit board is disposed under the plurality of keyswitches. The baseplate is disposed between the plurality of keyswitches and the membrane circuit board and is connected to the plurality of keyswitches, so as to make the plurality of keyswitches movable relative to the baseplate for triggering the membrane circuit board. The baseplate has a plurality of hooks. The plurality of hooks passes through the membrane circuit board to be engaged with a plurality of engaging hole structures of the holding baseplate respectively, so as to detachably mount the keyboard on the computer device. A number of the plurality of hooks is greater than forty.
