System and methods for providing a keyframe module for a input device are disclosed. In an embodiment, the input device includes a keyframe having a key opening, and a key disposed within the key opening. The key includes a keycap having a bottom surface, a plurality of tabs that extend laterally from the bottom surface of the keycap, and a protrusion extending from the bottom surface of the keycap. A compressible dome structure is disposed underneath the protrusion, and a plate is coupled to the keyframe and disposed underneath the compressible dome structure. A plurality of openings is disposed within the plate, where a location of the plurality of openings corresponds to a location of the plurality of tabs such that one or more of the plurality of tabs pass through one or more of the plurality of openings in response to the depression of the key.

LINKAGE STRUCTURE OF KEY SWITCH

The present invention relates to a linkage structure of a key switch. A second key and a fourth key share one bridge and are connected by a first connecting rod. When the second key or the fourth key is pressed down, the first connecting rod is pushed, so that a first bridge metal dome deforms and is connected to a common contact piece for conduction. A third key and a fifth key share one bridge and are connected by a second connecting. When the third key or the fifth key is pressed down, the second connecting rod is pushed, so that a second bridge metal dome deforms and is connected to the common contact piece for conduction. An input terminal is connected in series to a fuse, and the second key and the fourth key are connected in series to a diode so as to output a rectification half-wave.

Key stabilizer

A key stabilizer is provided, in which the key stabilizer includes a keycap and a balance bar. The keycap has a bottom surface and two protruding portions disposed thereon. The keycap moves back and forth along a vertical direction between a top position and a bottom position. Each of the two protruding portions has an engaging portion at the end thereof. The bottom surface faces the bottom position, and the two protruding portions are arranged along a horizontal direction that is perpendicular to the vertical direction. The balance bar has a hinge portion and two side portions respectively connected to both ends of the hinge portion. The hinge portion is positioned on a rotation axis parallel to the horizontal direction. The end of each of the two side portions that is away from the hinge portion is inserted into the engaging portion.
